- This is my long awaited PS5 RANT that I wanted to do for a while now! I will be pretty harsh at the PS5 and trust me, there are many good reasons on why I do not want a PS5 at this time. Watch the whole video to find out!

PS5 library is a disgrace to the PS3 And PS2 library
I would agree, especially for exclusive games, the amount of those out there!

I would include Ps4 as while many games that was exclusive to PS4 is on PC now, at least if you wanted to play the game on console, youll only have the option to play on a PS4, which also has a good library especially if you look at the Japanese side of the library too
Ps5 sucks I played all the exclusives god of war ragnarok rachet and clank rift apart horzion forbidden west the last of us 1 and 2 spiderman 2 it's not even backwards compatible for ps1 and ps2 games ill keep playing ps4

bro I have been with PS since the PSX and the PS5 is the worst PS console ever. Even worse than the Vita, which actually had a good number of exclusives. As you said all of their games are going to PC so just play them there. As a huge Spider-Man fan and someone who really enjoyed the first Insomniac game, I thought Spider-Man 2 was a disappointment.
We can't even have custom backgrounds at least. I hate having to be advertised at when having my ps5 online. Ads are on almost every page of the UI and It urks the hell out of me. Having payed so much for the console, you'd think that Sony would allow you to put a game screenshot as my background at the very least but now they hate their own customers. Also, them raising PS plus prices is such a big slap to the face of sony's users. They might as well email us "What ya gonna do about it? Bitch."
My biggest problem with the PS5 is the few titles we have that are PS5 only, the developers make us choose between framrate and fidelity which defeats the purpose of it being “next-gen”. They aren’t even utilizing the console properly. The tech is there, yet we gotta spend more money for a Pro version to do what this one should’ve done day one. Only a few developers have a “balanced” mode and the only 2 I can think of is the Spiderman games and Stellar Blade. So it’s either lose all that beautiful graphical fidelity to play in 60 frames which should be a norm by now, or play in fidelity mode at 30 fps. Your right, we need to stop giving Sony money.
Yeah its disappointing if thats the case and I'd rather play my PS4, Switch and Steam Deck these days. Hope Sony realizes after many PSN Subscriptions being cancelled due to Stellar Blade to be more pro consumer again!

The reason why there were so few exlusives was in part of the scalpers as too few people owned a ps5 they decided to make more games for ps4 instead. The good thing I think about the ps5 is you can play most of your old ps4 games on it.
Putting games on PC is why we have no games.

I dont look at game systems based on their exclusives but if they give the best value to the current generation of games and the PS5 is in another level compared to PS4, graphics, sound, load times, and the possibilities for All PS4, PS5 and upcoming games makes it the best option for me.
Its not worth it to pay $500 for though. Exclusives are the only reason to own a console. Its both the reason why the Xbox has failed and the Switch has succeeded. The Switch has outsold the PS4 even at over $140 million. Why do you think?
@@lm4585 I bought one for sports game as Im mainly a PC gamer. I can't play shooters or really anything but sports games on a console.

I still have a PS4 though and I still want a PS5. So I think I’ll wait for a PS5 Pro comes out.
The Stellar Blade situation is pretty bad and I think we’ll see an uncensored DLC.
The PSVR2 Is not on my radar. The same for the PS Portal. I’m not getting either of those.
Yeah, if I do eventually want a PS5, it will be much later down the road when they are not in as much demand and more cheaper + more games I want to play that are not on Switch, PS4 or Steam Deck :)
Doesn't the Xbox Series X/S also lack a bunch of exclusives as well? Honestly the thing I like about Nintendo Switch a lot is that their games are still worth collecting as physical, cause most of their games are on the little cartage still, but the ones that says you have to download to get the full game, I never bother getting a physical copy of for the Switch. I did just order myself a physical copy of RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, and also RWBY: Arrowfell, both for the Nintendo Switch, mainly to add to my Nintendo Switch game collection. I already have those games downloaded on the PS5. As for the PS5 VR set, I'm never wasting money on that at all. If I wanted a VR set that badly, I'd rather just get the Meta Quest 3, that's not just limited to a few games. Sadly Nintendo's idea of VR was a complete joke.
Ohhh yeah, certainly thats Xbox Series X severely lacking in 1st party exclusive game, they even lost exclusively to Starfield not so long after release which is a shame. But yeah its worse than PS5 and i would like to know if there are more 3rd party or 2nd party exclusives on PS5 that I am unaware about lol.
@@MagboGaming I mainly use my Xbox Series S to get a bunch of good Indie games, and the PS5 to get bigger title games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

@@TheMahayanist by the fact that Starfield was only for Xbox Series X/S and recently, Sony announces Starfield for Ps5 which now lost its exclusivity rights once it releases for it
The big difference from ps5 and xbox xbox is backwards compatible where u can play old games most ppl don't buy every game that comes out

The PS5 has had more exclusives in its first 3 years than what the PS4 had in the same time frame.
The only people that complain about a 'lack of games' are people that only play shooters.
Yeah I am aware that PS5 has hundreds of 3rd party games out there as well but I noticed most are still also on PS4, Switch or Steam so barely have a reason to get one. And I actually not until 1st person shooters myself, they actually give me motion sickness.

In the first 3 years of the PS4 we got what? Bloodborne and Uncharted 4?
Meanwhile in the first 3 years of the PS5 we got God of war, Horizon, Gran Turismo, Spider-Man 2 and miles morales, ratchet and clank, Final Fantasy, returnal etc.

I just lost my all my digital games due to a cyber hiccup corrupted my password so when I try to put in the password back in to see it was okay deleting my profile I can't attain it back tonight a Sony help is not helping cuz I don't know the password and my password is deactivated for some reason I didn't know that till now luckily some of the digital games I bought physically so I'm letting out there don't do what I did luckily I had some games that I wanted to leave owned already this is why physical copies important

When it comes to exclusivety, even if it goes to PC its still a Playstation owned game, just pushing it out there fir more gamers to play, which btw is a good one.

I disagree. It doesn't have to have a lot of exclusives. Nintendo is doing fine with Mario, Zelda, and Kirby as their main exclusives, and they don't release games all the time. At least the PS5's exclusives are actually good compared to their competitors. I don't get why you keep yapping on and on about how many exclusives the PS5 has, when the actual quality of the games are amazing. Not to mention the only thing you're actually talking about are the exclusives, which is not the only thing the console has. Graphics quality, speed, and the operating system matter too.
I got a PS5 myself as you already know. Personally, I like it. Not as much as I do the PS4 let alone PS3 and PS2, but I like it. I will definitely get games for it as at least I find it a better platform than Xbox right now (only way Microsoft will get me back into Xbox is if they GET GAMES WITHOUT BUYING UP DEVS). However... I understand where youre coming from. If I had a better PC since mine is a toaster, I wouldnt even have had to get a PS5. I mainly gotten it to accommodate the fact that I dont own a BEAST PC nor do I know how making a PC work. Especially since I suck at understanding many of these tutorials. I do agree, Sony definitely shot themselves in the foot putting their games on PC (at least it made sense with Microsoft because Windows is owned by Microsoft). Which I believe PC gamers wanted Sony to port their games to PC too (which if I remember correctly, Sony REALLY shouldnt have listened). Plus yeah, more exclusives would be nice. VERY nice actually. And I know you dont care, but i dont like they censor games (Asian games particularly) that features ANYTHING that resembles a cutesy anime girl, or an attractive female of ANY KIND, yet they have games like The Last of Us 2 where a manly lady with BIG GUNS getting her salad tossed. or Baldur's Gate 3 where fictional depictions of bestiality takes place. Very hypocritical, and it comes off as if they have some sort of ethnic bias against Asian people and a bias against anime they just childishly can't put aside for the sake of good business. Im happy to Owna Switch cuz for the most part, most 3rd party games are left alone. Aside all that, i dont regret buying a PS5, but the flaws definitely makes me feel begrudging...
EDIT: I forgot to mention, would it kill them to have customizable UI? Like PS4 an even PS3 does a WYA better job at that than PS5 does. Like I would like to have custom backgrounds, avatars/pfps, have folders to keep all of my installed games and apps speperate instead of going to the libray to remind myself what games I have installed.

Im more worried about "next gen" games than exclusives, personally, of which there are almost just as few. I literally gave away my ps5 because i was using my steam deck way more. Sony literally stealing shit from peoples libraries was the last straw for me. Ill never buy a console again

Those games will go to PC but they will still be Sony owned games and make you have a PSN account to play. Like the Microsoft blueprint.

After rejecting online for years im done im just paying for online on all my consoles. Want to play my splatoon and foamstars i dont care anymore
Nintendo exclusive argument doesnt hold. Console for exclusives is a mindset that only works on nintendo. Difference is you buy a console for games. You literally buy a nintendo only for exclusives. That aint better and theres a difference. If you buy for games you'll never be disappointed cause theres an endless anount of them
100s of exclusives on ps4 is the same as 100s of exclusives for ps5 if someone never had a ps4. You just outran your desire and now caught up to time and must wait for your moment. What your feeling is reaching your peak as a ps player and looking for the rush you had when building your peak. Just like me and my series s. I want ps now bcuz everything i needed i have now so i travel to ps to start the journey to peak again and crash once complete. We just finalized ourselves
Very true, any consoles I ever bought is because there are a decent amount of games I would love to play. I am sure there will be a day where PS5 will have several exclusive games that I would love to play that I cannot get anywhere else. When it happens, I will happily save up for a PS5 and also continue playing PS4 games on it too. I hope the literation of PS5 is a bit smaller tho.

As a Trophy/Achievement hunter I like the PS. Better system for that hobby. If you just play to play, PC is the way to go.

i play maybe one game every two months on the ps5 and already beated all the exclusives (except the ones that will reach pc) means half so basically the only reason to have a ps5 is to play first the exclusive but yea at 70 greens is a no no for me

The PS5 UI design is awful. Cluttered, not customizable, Ads (!!!!!), hideous trophy lists and icons, not intuitive, no folders. I hate it so much. And that is on top of everything else you mentioned. It is absolutely the most disappointing and flaccid hardware I have ever experienced.
The PS5 and the Series X are too big and ugly does not blend in like ps4 slim and xbox onex which look a lot better cosmetically fit right under the tv easily not a big eyesore like ps5 and series x

ummm no? I don’t even like Xbox either, I do not own any Xbox consoles and only own 4 games on Xbox in my entire gaming collection. I am a Nintendo and Sony guy through and through. And it’s cause I am passionate for playstation that I criticize the Ps5 for all the wrongs they are doing now.
Yes the ps5 has 7 exclusive games on the console 7 exclusive games where none of those games are good the ps5 has zero new gen exclusive games that are good which is pathetic it’s the same dilemma that the ps4 suffered from

Dont get me wrong, i dont agree with everything that PS is doing right now....but i still use it more than my ps4 as games play so much better with it. You enjoy your kids toy (switch) to play your games that are algorithm approved, that dont play as well as they do on a PS5 or evwn ps4.
