This is a life saver man thank you, trying this with card stock to see how it comes out. full custom art deck here i come!
very useful, thanks! Recently I myself have figured out that, since I play only with friends and eventually for fun, it doesn't make much sense to spend a fortune on cards for me. But I'm still in the process of figuring out how to get very good proxies. The other day I observed that the print quality at the shop on 350 grams paper (with laser printer) on a random photo looked decent. The feeling of that type of card is comparable to normal Magic cards in my opinion so... I'll investigate more. Only issure is that people at the shop didn't want to print stuff covered by copyright....
Best, easiest guide! Thank you
Glad it helped!
Thank you, very useful method to test cards indeed
Glad you think so!
No more gambling!
Wise decision!
What printer and paper do you use? These look fantastic!
What kind of app did you use?
Its hard doing it in MS WORD
Thank you!!!!
I think my favorite Deck name, of all your Decks is hdhdhdh :D
For real?? Me too!!
Do you use a basic printer? Any special paper or ink?
HP laser jet printer with 7 1/2 x 11 paper. Basically any regular printer works!
Avec le nouveau MTG print, juste avant de print tu peux aller dans options avancées et tu peux augmenter la marge verticale entre les cartes, ca fait que t'as pas besoin de les entrer manuellement ca en met 6 par page direct.
Is there another site that offers images in a much higher resolution? Please tell me
Pls can anyone tell me the dimensions for the proxy cards ? I’m doing hearthstone and there’s no site for printing them
Do you use regular paper?

Im wondering about how much ink will printing proxies take if you get 9 cards for a single sheet of paper.
How many sheets can I print about with a full ink cartridge.
About 25-30. That’s printing on highest quality.
I made 6 cards per page as you said and still my proxies printed smaller, exactly as I would print whole deck at once. Why is that? Help please. Follow up question: how do you guys print double faced cards? I have problem with 'Poppet Stitcher'. MTGprint seem to have problem fetching 'Poppet Factory'.
Maybe you have a different letter size. You could also try 110% size
did you fix the problem?
@@dragospop202 yes, I had scaling turned on in printer settings. I just had to uncheck it just before printing.
@@bigcyc666 the site allows me to put 9 cards in a sheet with 100%,so idk about you guys
Thank you for update on how to fix the initial problem you faced

A little correction about the print size: it's not the website's fault, but the printing options. I had the same issue, but noticed that by default, to fit better, my print was downsized to 96%. I manually put it at 100% and the cards are the correct size, using the normal printing method the websites provides. Hope that's gonna help someone :)
I'm thinking of using Proxies in a content video, showcasing a format of MTG me and my friends play for fun. I've been concerned the video would not be allowed, eg WOTC and Hasbro maybe not supporting the use of Proxies in MTG content. However your video of actually making Proxies seems to have survived. Did you have any issues at all with posting this, am I concerned for no reason?
Literally just don’t say they’re proxies in the video. They have no way to prove you use them and even if they could they wouldn’t care
I went to a competition I forgot to take out some of my proxies. but the problem was I couldn't tell what ones they were i thought I removed them all. I played and got third place and won a new car!!! I drove it home and never noticed till three years later.
Rip mtg-print
why?
@@MTGDeckmasters apparently it's down
@@MTGDeckmasters nevermind, it's back, but it was down for a bit
L'accent est malade lol.
these look. nothing like real cards though?
The point is to practice playing a deck before buying it or playing casually.
@@MTGDeckmasters so why not say functional proxies? or maybe usable? high quality is the sole opposite of this, this is the third lowest possible quality of proxies below only sharpie and scribbles on paper bahaha
@@blackiscolor7732 it card......same size....it usable what your point
@@muhammadmikhaelbinmohdniza2177 it card it not "high quality card" 😂 my point not smart word , use smart word and not false advertise.......................get point?...............read?
