Being generally anti war I want to be against it, but a Nations survival is at stake. People are being brutally murdered. This is not a Civil Unrest but an attack from a neighbor. It is the type of War I can get behind. Failure to help save Ukraine will lead to many more problems. This is more than a regional conflict. I support Ukraine, and want tax dollars to insure the safety and freedom to think for these people.
You should dig a little deeper, start around 2008, check out 2014, the laws that were past in 2014 after the coup, the civil war from 2014-22 so on. The Minsk agreements, and finally the invasion and the blocked negotiations a month later.
You can join Ukrainian army.
Ukraine brought the war on themselves by not supporting the Minsk agreements they signed and killing 14,000 of their own citizens between 2014 and 2022.
Fareed Zakaria's commentary highlights the sobering reality that US aid to Ukraine isn't merely a matter of geopolitics but a lifeline for a nation facing existential threats.
All the godless destruction in Ukraine wouldn't have taken place if the Godless left did not steal the 2020 Presidential election.

Well, here in the US, we let greed drive everything. Both political parties are controlled by Wall Street and the big donors. And they're only able to succeed by turning us against each other. MAGA and Blue MAGA should come together for universal health care. Then they can continue fighting each other in the culture war and not go into medical debt over it.
To be certain greed overlaps with a lot of priorities but in the case of Ukraine my opposition is is the same with Israel giving them all money and finances when we can ill afford to spare it while those concerns go on a dress is just upping the ante against the president for the November election

As they said in the video, the Ukrainians are the good guys, fighting for their freedom and survival (existential). Russia is the bad guy: Putin, an authoritarian dictator who wants to conquer and destroy Ukraine and eliminate the Ukrainians as Russian manifest destiny. You can also see the difference between how good guys treat prisoners and bad guys do, merciful treatment versus executions. In this respect too: Ukraine good, Russian bad.
But there's no good guy's in Israel these days. Hamas killed 1200, Israel killed 33,000 in retaliation. Both are treating prisoners badly. It's hard for some to see that Netanyahu is like Putin, an authoritarian, when some in America want a Republican authoritarian to take charge and deal with women and minorities that won't go back to sleep.

Can you people imagine the outlook from a European perspective? The denial of election results and everything else, now this holding back of critical funding for Ukraine. The USA is in big trouble because somehow the checks and balances do not function. The EU certainly has it's own problems but this is fundamental flaws in democracy right here.

I think that Netanyahu and Hamas have similar motivations. In order to keep power they have to maintain conflict. Both the Palestinian and the Israelis would be better off without them.
On another subject, we need to see more Fareed. He always provides information and perspectives we don't get from anyone else.
This is why I don't think October 7 was a coincidence. Netanyahu was facing unrest for months before that (and has faced more unrest recently) while projections seemed to indicate Hamas as the biggest loser in elections that were supposed to be held in Gaza in October. Both really have to get the boot.
I also enjoy listening to Fareed. He is excellent at reminding us of how history has shaped what we see anywhere in the world today.
The war that Russia started has shown us that our weapon systems need to be updated. Give Ukraine our outdated weapons and let's build our next gen AI weaponry.

How can us leave Ukraine to death?
Because Ukraine is not part of NATO, because Ukraine is not a state within the United States. There is no obligation on the United States to save Ukraine. We can certainly facilitate peace. The US has already provided plenty for Ukraine and it's time for politicians to consider peace talks.
What is the best strategy? Peace talks. Fix the root problem through peace talks. How is more violence after 2 years going to continue to resolve this? It's insane to keep doing what is not working and throwing more money at what is not working. It's like giving a homeless man more money. No the homeless man does not have a money problem they have a lack of job and perhaps a desire to work problem due to mental health/drug issues.
