If he tries to go up to him he will probably just trip and fall or some bullshit and get his lungs split in half or whatnot because calamity pretty much scale to the victim to be a big inconvenience. If he is still conscious, he would have no way to get that the normal looking old man did that when he just tripped on a pebble on his own. Any attempt to reach for the old man for help would just make the situation worse because that would probably count as pursuing given the logic of WoU.

Here's my theory on how WOU can actually beat GER, now as far as I know, GER reverts "any actions" to zero point. But WOU does not do any actions, WOU goes by the flow of Calamity which is a "Force of Nature" not a direct "attack" towards GER. So can GER's ability work against WOU?

Womder of U would literally be perfect for Diavolo. The instant someone even thinks of betraying him, Wonder of U kills them.

I imagine GER vs WoU as like the most massive stalemate ever. Something flies at giorno, it gets reset, something else flies at giorno it gets reset too. They both cant harm each other but as long as they want to itll be an infinite stalemate

I think Giorno will lose eventually, since he needs to notice and counter everything that WOU causes to knock into him. While GER is incredibly powerful, it's still used by a human who is still vulnerable and fallable

I want to clarify something. When someone acts with ill intent towards Giorno, GER activates and reverses fate itself to before that action happened and then alters that fate to make it so the action never happened in the first place. Fate, in the JoJo universe IS Gravity. Gravity CANNOT physically affect anything that DOES NOT PHYSICALLY EXIST. Go Beyond DOES NOT PHYSICALLY EXIST. So even if GER did activate, Go Beyond would ignore it and keep doing whatever it's doing.
Would GER stop Cream? By this definition Cream is the strongest stand also GER would nullify the consequence, if Giorno was hit by the bubble GER would heal him

@@tesmat1243 The stand ability itself is to send the things that enter its mouth to another dimension. The void-ball is created by the stand eating itself making a ball-shaped void that completely destroys any matter that enters it. Technically it is a ball of nothing and therefore physically doesn't exist, but like Go Beyond, the user has no actual idea where the ball/bubble is or goes and so can't control it with certainty. So while it has a major drawback, if the user was lucky they could kill Giorno and beat GER.
that the bubble doesn't exist doesn't change anything, the damage inflicted by the bubble is real, and GER can cancel the consequences , it's literally written in "Jojo a Gogo" that no matter what his enemy's abilities are, he will never reach the result of his will
Strangely enough, Domino from the Deadpool films could do a number on Wonder of U. Its ability is causing calamities by intent, and Domino’s ability is to survive said improbable calamities by being lucky. In fact, Domino’s power is illustrated in a similar way Wonder of U works as well where coincidences line up to kill her combatants or to give her a school bus when she needs a school bus.
She may not be able to do anything to Wonder of U, but she can fight Wonder of U to a standstill and possibly even an advantage depending on luck shifting her way

Tbh the only things that I can think of being able to counter this are:
GER's Uno reverse card
Chariot Requiem's forcing stands to attack the user if attacked
World over Heaven since it's a fucking reality warper
D4C since he could potentially survive each calamity by letting a different version of him die
Finally Star Platinum as it's the same type of stand
Star plat is the same type as ever stand obviously
D4c wouldn’t be able to survive every encounter. The head doctor will be able to find a way to keep him from warping to the other dimension but just rolling his head off his shoulders or just slice it

I’m personally so glad “Go Beyond” is a thing in JoJo. Like ever since part 5 with GER I wanted a stand that could just straight up “go beyond” time,CC, and just hax in general. In Part 6 the idea of attaining heaven seemed cool as well. As part 7 went on I thought a major theme would build upon this idea. That there was not simply only one way to achieve/ attain heaven. Part 7 was great but, when I learned of Dio over heaven I dreamed of a stand thats whole gimmick was ascension. That the user would define his ability as an ability that breaks any mold by ascending over concepts/ going beyond limits.Not simple ability negation but, the stand doesn’t play by established rules as it has transcended being affected in such a way. I feel Soft and Wet Go Beyond is the closest thing I will get to my dream (All Star) stand. A strong will, a great user, a crazy stand, that says screw your immovable rules and logic.
Go beyond goes beyond the physical universe not against everything GER would still nullify any damage Giorno would endure by a bubble, go beyond is just a Cream on a smaller scale

Ger can definitely undo Jouskes actions, but absolutely nothing can actually affect the bubble itself. The entire point of Go beyond is that nothing stops it, it's a paradox taken form, it does not exist but it also exists. GER cant stop that, especially since Jouske cant really even control it, just aim in the general direction of where he wants it to fire

The hard counter to Wonder of u besides GER is SCR. The theoretical fight would be pretty abrupt to. One day the head doctor would be just chillin. Polnarff might be trying to figure out what his name is. Wonder of u tries to kill polnaff, SCR turns wonder of u against the head doctor and he breaks his neck after tripping.
Also D4C love train would be one, love train reflects bad luck and wonder of u makes bad luck
That would be very weird, WoU doesn't seem to have full control over his effects, but SCR only reflects stands from those who try to get the arrow, the guy can still be easily defeated with the shadow thing behind someone's heart or something.
What about dragons dream? He is another bad luck manipulator

On the topic of Go Beyond's scaling, have you heard of the Single Attack Theory? Tldr, as far as I understand it, everything that happened, up to Josuke firing GB, was Tusk Act 4's infinite rotation nail bullet traveling for a century.
This is basically just "remember when Tusk Act 4 didnt solve all of Johnny's problems? WELL NOPE DIDNT HAPPEN" and i love it,
Just imagine if Wonder of U's ability was the opposite, if the calamity started every time Wonder of U thought of its intended target.
A Stand that can think, that can operate on its own without his Stand User, that has infinite range, that has ridiculous stats, and that brings calamity to those he wants dead?
That would be far worse than someone having both the Death Note and Shinigami eyes.

I feel like logic is something that goes far beyond ones desire, something that cant bet controlled at will, and thats what make this stand not absolutely op, and this imperfection if you will, its what makes it so eerie, hipnotic, gorgeous.

Yeah, we don't have enough information. We know it's not that the damage is being hightened because the rain only hurts those who wonder of u is targeting. But is the durability being weakened or is it straight up just going to cause damage no matter what?
Like, can Superman be hurt by a calamity? We just don't have enough information.
But then again I think that's what makes Jojo's fun and powers scaling is more of a fun thought exercise not to be taken seriously in general
@@travisbewley7084 It'll cause damage no matter what and the damage done is amplified. Mamezuku bumped into objects and his legs started to fall apart. Josuke had a guard fall on him and break his ribs from a short fall. Superman would get shredded if he attempted to attack Wonder of U.

What scares me the most about “wonder of U” is Hitting or Killing the Stand User triggers instant death you can’t avoid. Even if you managed to reach Tooru you’r dead and don’t even realize it yet
The thing about power scaling of Wonder of U, and how people compares it with other stands, is that people ALWAYS assumes the situation is perfect for the other stand. Every time, when people say "what about XXX they can beat Wonder of U".
And the answer is, NO.
Every time people say things about Sheer Heart Attack or Weather report or Ma Yo Yo can beat it, everyone assumes that the user just suddenly knew everything about Wonder of U and how it works, instantly wanting to fight and kill it, and then teleported right in front of it and killed it with one blow.
No, it most likely wouldn't. It's simple for a lot of stands to beat Wonder of U in a assumed situation with no context, where everything is perfect for the stand, but it's not.
To beat Wonder of U You need to: know the existence of this stand + be curious about it+ find imformations about it and research about its mystery + knowing its true form and ability + wanting to kill it + finding its location + go to that location + fight it. With deadly calamity following you every step of the way, wanting to kill you unrelentingly.
That's why Wonder of U is so stupidly strong and overpowered, any other stand, no matter how strong they are, need to be confronted directly in a battle or at least have the user activate it to show its power, but Wonder of U doesn't, it starts to attack you no matter where you are, the moment you start knowing about ITS EXISTENCE.
You don't have a perfect situation where you suddenly know everything about the stand, instantly teleported in front of it and start a face to face battle. No, you need to gradually investigate and know its ability to even start thinking about fighting it, and it can already kill you during this process. Maybe even Valentine will step out of the light barrier of Love Train in this process and get beaten by calamity.
That's why Wonder of U is second when come to power.
Yeah the point of WoU is that the enemy is gonna never have an advantage because the stand attacks even if you don't know nothing about Tooru. (Like Mamazuku's father)

WoU is a freaking law of the universe. It cannot die by any conventional mean and heck it can't be beaten in this world. So long as logic and reason exists within our universe, WoU is untouchable. It took Josuke's invisible bubble that is not within the realm of our logic to defeat it, what makes you think that a stand that exist within our own logic and reason could defeat it.

Hey METAs, can you do a video on the characters' obsession with *happiness* in Jojolion. Looking at Araki's mention of "What is happiness?" I'm curious about how this fits into the story as a whole.
Interesting I only read the end of jojolion don’t worry I ‘m not a part skipper but I thought the whole story was josuke finding who he was or about breaking a curse
@@kingoflions4459 Yeah, but there are multiple mentions of *happiness* (they tend to emphasize it), so I imagine it is part of the theme as a whole. Breaking the curse was the goal of the story from the beginning and Josuke finding out his identity can be considered a stepping stone toward that goal. From what I got from Josuke's story, his happiness was finding out his identity and his place in the world but ultimately came to terms that he is no longer who he used to be since he is now an entirely different person. Other characters like Jobin mention their idea of happiness and it can most likely be tied to the main villain as well. Maybe Araki is going through some introspection at his age and wanted to write about it.

doubtful. I don't think he can activate time stop unconcously, and if he did his time stop would be much higher at the beginnning of the fight.

I think Green green grass of home is a overlooked stand that is somewhat similar to WoU, when u try to get close you have to be able to complete a hypertask since you'd be shrinking in half as you get closer all the time infinitely, and if the user were someone besides the green baby it would be quite unstoppable
Im fairly certain Go Beyond would be capable of harming GER solely because unlike Tusk's infinite rotation bullet the spin itself isn't tied to anything. Diego stopped time and the spin persisted but the nail bullet was stopped. Go Beyond has no such weakness and if it's capable of harming Wonder of U then it most likely can harm GER as well. People forget GER's return to zero doesn't activate until an attack is imminent and well Go Beyond doesn't physically exist.

You gotta wonder just how reality breaking a free for all between all the strongest stands would be. Like, if you got Gold Experience Requiem, Made In Heaven, Tusk Act 4, D4C Lovetrain and Wonder of U in a 5 way deathmatch, would anyone actually win or would reality itself just break under them?
Reality would go to shit itself because these stands weren’t meant to be close to each other in anyway. Fate made it so these stands never meet so let’s hope they don’t.
Throw in Dio and Jotaro’s over heaven variation of their stands for good measure just so we can make sure that matchup fucks up the space time continuum beyond repair 😂
The only way to beat WOU would be a stand that can reflect negative intent back at the person who gives it but the draw back to that is WOU could just send it back and it would be a infinite cycle or GER which would also put it in a infinite cycle but there is no way to truly beat it for good because it is logic
Some of you guys didn't watch the entire video. The only counter, period, to Wonder of U is Soft&Wet: Go Beyond perfected. That is it. GER doesn't counter because that would require attacking or intent to pursue/attack Wonder of U. SCR doesn't because Wonder of U can exist on it's own. D4C: Love Train is environment bound and with Wonder of U the environment is a weapon. Watch the video IN FULL

I still think GE:R could defeat WoU in a straight one-on-one fight, but I still prefer WoU narratively and stylistically. The theory for the basic root of GE:R’s power that I subscribe to is that it essentially manipulates cause and effect. Meaning it could hard counter WoU’s ability due to its karmic retribution going nowhere or even anywhere towards its ultimate defeat.

@@purplehaze2358 the biggest problem with WoU vs GER and a lot of stand fights is that we don’t get much of either stand (mainly GER) expect for this tiny glimpse of its abilities then we move on to a new cast, a new place and a new plot.
disagree, I think the stands walk right by each other without interacting. GER doesn't activate every time Giorno stubs his toe, it''s not really going to do anything to prevent the flow of calamity. The flow of calamity isn't a specific attack or even the intent to attack against Giorno, it's the consequence of Giorno having the intent to pursue the doctor or tooru. A lot of comments are saying that GER cannot revert WoU's calamities since they are not a direct attack towards Giorno but an action doesn't have to be a direct attack towards him for GER to revert it to zero. An example would be GER resetting Diavolo's death to zero again and again despite Diavolo dying not being a direct attack towards Giorno. This proves that GER can reset any action, including the calamities, to zero regardless of it being an attack towards Giorno or not.

I lovw JoJo's fights simply because even the ones from parts 1 and 2 and even The World vs Star Platinum, they don't really ever win by overpowering the opponent, but instead working around them. Honestly sometimes these battles are less traditional battles and more like something from Yu-Gi-Oh or Death Note.

I do enjoy the common theme of the JoJoVillains defying fate, no matter what. Starting with Dio, overcomming his lowly birth through manipulation and violence, DIO stopping time to change fate, Diavolo skipping fate to Tooru using all of existence against those going after him. It also shows in the design of Wonder of U. It is neither a hulking brute nor an agile fighter, but a literal elder gentlemen, fighting indirectly with the powers of knowledge of logic.

Actually, nothing can actually transcend logic, even deities have their own logic to follow. Tooru lost because Gappy was lucky enough for WoU to not be strong enough to affect the logic of other realities. Go Beyond may have transcended the current dimension's logic, but it's just operating on another plane of logic.

I think that the reason of why Wonder of U is more powerful than GER is because GER can only contrarrest a person's actions (base in the information available in the manga), but Wonder of U is all about REACTIONS. For him to attack you have to think in pursue him and then (AND ONLY THEN) the calamity will act. Wonder of U is passive, the whole world itself is attacking GER. GER can't attack the raindrops and make them suffer an eternal death and, despite the common believe, GER isn't invincible, he can turn person's actions back to zero, but not the events in the world.
Wonder of U is just stupidly powerful, Made in Heaven can have the power of acceleration but if Pucci thinks in pursue Tooru, the universe (or at least the world) will act against Pucci and the damage he will suffer could be simply exaggerated.

No, it does not said that ONLY the will and actions of the person is reverted. It just said that he can revert the attackers will and action back to zero. GER also revert reality back to 0. Diavolo can see the future and whatever he saw in the future will be reality because that’s how fate or flow works in JoJo. But GER transcends through that reality and was able to overcome fate or the flow of the universe. GER will be able to overcome WoU’s flow of calamity.

So it's possibly that I have a wrong translation but GER is more a defensive Stand (with very high attacking cappabilities) and Tooru is ALWAYS defending himself, he is never really attacking.
The thing is, we know very little about GER, but I think that, with ginormous amout of effort there are Stands who can fight against GER like Love Train and (especially) Tusk Act 4 (and that's because it's impossible return infinity to zero, among other reasons).
The better outcome (according to your statement) to GER is a permanent stalemate: GER attacking -> Calamity -> Zero -> GER attacking -> Calamity -> Zero -> GER attacking -> Calamity -> Zero -> GER attacking -> Calamity -> Zero................ This is an endless loop. They would cancel each other eternaly.

As I said earlier, Diavolo saw through his Epitaph that he will defeat Giorno and everything that Diavolo sees in the Epitaph will come true no matter what because Fate dictates it. But GER prevents that reality from happening meaning GER prevents Diavolo from ever reaching that truth. Fate and Calamity are the same type of force in the JoJo universe and GER was able to transcend not only fate but reality as well. Plus while Diavolo is inside his Time Erase he is disconnected from reality meaning he cannot be affected from anything EVEN calamity during the Time Skip because he is in a different plane of existence (kinda like Kenshiro's Muso Tensei from Fist of The North Star), but as we can see GER stills beats and transcends him.
Edit: Plus once GER gets his hands on Tooru he's done for. He will be subjected to the Infinite Death.

And if Giorno tries to attack Tooru, WOU will activate wherever Giorno is, instantaneously. And, come on, why Tooru would tried to get close to Giorno? He doesn't have the need to.

Well wonder of you can’t cause calamity to love train because it literally takes any calamity or anything bad going to d4c and spins it away to another person or sometimes the closest person near by meaning it could just take all the calamities he tries to put on d4c and put it back on himself and he doesn’t seem to have a resistance to calamities he can only control them in attack forms not defense
