I love the concept of color coding for the different legs of your trip. An idea for those that don't want to purchase more pack-it cubes in a different colors, add color-coded pipe cleaners to the zipper or insert a piece of paper (colored &/or labeled) with appropriate destination &/or person's name if packing a "family" suitcase. Thanks Jen for another packing video... I love a mini series! I always pick up new helpful hints & tricks that I can use/adapt/modify for my own needs. Big Squeezes!

Definitely helped! When I first saw all the stuff on your bed I was thinkingto myself how on earth you would fit all of that into one suitcase! All it takes is some good organizingto fit everything in! Thank you very much for the helpful video

I use the EC packing cubes in all my trips but I only have one color. As soon as the travel sale starts at Container Store, I will get another color. This was such a great advise!! Thanks Jen!!

You are so organised, so good at listing tasks and project management that you could have a great career as a PA or office manager. Don't hide your light under a bushel. It's great to have an organised home but clearly you like to keep your brain active and you could be really stimulated in the workplace and also be a great employee.

I'm kinda weary about packing makeup in a checked-in luggage. What is your experience? Do you end up with cracked eyeshadows and whatnot?

What kind of bag do you carry your camera in? I have the same Canon camera and I find difficult to travel with. The bag that came with my camera kit it is nice because it has divides for my lents... the problem it's because is so big.

What is in all those toilet bags? I travelled through the UK for 5 weeks with one small toilet bag and one makeup bag. What do you pack in all those bags?

Next year my science class is taking a trip to Costa Rica and I'm taking a duffle bag for convenience because were going to be in the rain forest and I was wondering if you have any tips on packing a duffle bag for checking and a backpack for carry on?

Jen: when I pack I fold in my clothes on the hangers, and they come out very wrinkled. Even tee shirts and I end up ironing in the hotel...does your folded clothing get all winkled too? Do you end up ironing also?
Do you ever worry about bed bugs when you travel? I used to travel a lot for work, and started getting a little worried about bed bugs, so I did some research, and what I read actually suggested that you not unpack your things while at a hotel. Just curious if it was something you ever had a concern with. Thanks!

I think you can utilize the overall concepts of Jen's videos but just pare it down for your needs. I find color coordinating my outfits so I only need to take 1 pair of flats, 1 pair of heels & 1 purse helps. Choose separates to give mix&match versatility where you can wear the same light-weight jacket from day to evening, switch out pants for a skirt, add an evening(ish) top &/or fancier scarf/jewelry. However, if for one night or two weeks, my toiletries & "getting ready" items are the same.
And if u don't have a similar bag, u can use a recyclable shopping bag. Not ideal but so easy to take the bag out and hang or stow clothes for the wk.

Try Downy Wrinkle Release. It won't work immediately, but you spray it on the wrinkles, hang up the clothes, and they'll be dry in the morning looking MUCH better.

coul you do a video on how you organize your toiletries and why you use so many bags for this process?! Thanks. I also use packing cubes since watching your videos and love them. A container store employee suggested that I leave clothes in cubes and unzip and fold flap underneath when you stow away in drawers.I really like this because the clothes I dont wear are reDy to go home nice and neat! phew. That was long winded!

I have considered to get that Eagle Creek suitcase from the Container Store every summer because of its light weight but I can't part of having a spinner suitcase even though its heavier.. I need the 4 wheels. I can't pull my carry on, my suitcase and my bag. I prefer to roll them.

Really, as long as you roll your clothing you can easily fit 4 days worth of clothing in a carry on without having to wear the same thing twice. Keep in mind all of your toiletries will have to be 3.4 oz or less, keep those in a quart size bag per TSA reg.

Whoops, hey all. These packing cubes are awesome and really really help yer travel experience. However, they are not realistically affordable for everyone. U can improvise with any similar bag, even a large, inexpensive makeup bag
