I took this deck out with my young nieces and nephews and they connected with it immediately! Started analyzing the art and creating stories about the people. Then we used the cards to count the objects and sound out the words. So this is a good deck for kids! Not even for ‘tarot’ but just to unlock creativity and reinforce counting and reading skills. Kids love this art. These cards are also super durable as she says, so they’re not going to destroy them.

Thank you :) a tarot journal would be awesome, I confess I am lazy on keeping a journal or even reading from it, but with some guidance and inspiration ...I'm sure I would use one for tarot again 🥰🦋🌿

It is a beautiful deck. I just got it. The guidebook is a little thin on the definitions.
I bought this deck a few months ago as my first deck, and do not regret it for a moment. I've been pulling a single card at night to get used to reflection and intuitively reading the cards. Honestly, so far they have been absolutely dead-on accurate.
I've done a few 3 card spread as well, asking the cards something simple about the day ahead. I keep a tarot journal mostly so I can remember what I did earlier, and they've been stunningly accurate as well.
I do have to say, when they arrived, I felt an immediate, and intense connection to it. I've gotten another deck since, and felt nothing.
I do reference a few other books for card meanings, to get a broader understanding of it, and would advise that, if only to deepen the short descriptions in the booklet.
This deck as totally spoiled me for any other deck; they are SO beautiful, and so delightful to work with.

@@rubyleah1071 you will need another deck for the interpretations as the guide book is a little thin on the interpretations. It is lovely deck but if you want to go deeper use a guidebook from another deck

My fav Colette Baron-Reed deck is probably Wisdom of the Oracle, but I just picked up her animal spirit deck the other day, and its lovely. This deck is pretty solid too, though I'm not sure I'd say its good as someone's first deck (being a beginner myself). It feels more like a tarot deck with oracle under/overtones rather than a straight tarot deck to me.
I just got this deck about a month ago and have really enjoyed working with it. The deck is gorgeous and working with it at night right before bedtime has been a delight.

I just bought this deck on temu. Unfortunately mine didn't have a guide book with it. I guess that's why it was only 9 dollars, but I really do like the artwork.

Yes! The booklet is to simple. Buy another deck with a better guide book to help you know the cards better.

Thanks for making this video! I got this deck awhile back and never jumped in due to only using oracle cards and never delving into tarot cards. I have felt intuitively drawn to work with this and NOT a traditional tarot deck. I agree that it can be a bit bulky to shuffle (my hands are a bit on the small side) and I also feel that sometimes it can feel frustrating to not fully get the full picture of what's going on as the card book is SO positive. Do you have any suggestions for how to tap in even more while giving a full reading with this deck, to kind of tap into the fuller picture? I also have been pulling one card a day for my own tarot journal. Do you suggest that I just learn more about a traditional tarot deck to help me understand this one? Open to suggestions as I learn.
I am extremely new to tarot, but this was my first tarot deck, i was drawn to the artwork on the cards. It was a bit tough for a beginner especially one that knew nothing about Tarot... I also have the Wisdom of the Oracle deck and getting the Enchanted Map Oracle deck as well..

Nice review. I read intuitively, and I feel this deck would work better for this. RWS decks I find boring, but I suppose we should really learn on them first. Collette BR Wisdom of the Oracle deck was my first ever deck, and I rarely need to read the book, though it is nice to see inside Collettes head and her vision for the card meanings.
That is so neat! I have not had a Colette deck I dislike.
Love the artwork and the Minor Arcana but not some of the Majors, Im on the fence! tfs

I bought the two decks the good tarot and the light seers tarot and got the decks but no guide books. I can download them but would have preferred the guide books.
then you got knock-off decks, the original decks always come with a printed guide book
You have bought fake decks. Buy from hay house direct or through a book store. You need the guideboooks for these decks to be able to read them. Especially light seer deck the book is brilliant

I bought this deck but found there is a mistake in the guide book.. one of the cards numbers or pic in the guide book doesn't match the actual card.. now I can't remember which card it is as I have since re-sold the deck.. it may be the 10 of water card?.. you'll have to go through the book and each card to see what one it is... I also don't like human faces in my decks so that's another reason i sold it..

It seems difficult finding a multiple cultural deck . Of all those cards only 4 or 5 seamed to depict other cultures... shame. Thanks for the video.
The booklet for this deck really lets it down
images have no relation to actual tarot..i dont connect to this at all..
I can understand that.
I think its likely cause they are oracle cards formatted to tarot, the deck itself feels nothing like its advertised. Its far from a bad deck, in fact its quite good but it (in my unprofessional opinion 😅) is not an "all positive tarot deck" and feels personally much more like an oracle deck.
