    Do you need to make sure the paste is totally dry before removing the stencil?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Před 2 lety

      If there is remaining wet paste when you are removing the stencil, it may end up on the wood. Remember, a little of the paste goes a long way!!

    Neat! I need to make at least a dozen of these for family & friends! But think I'll use vinyl cause the fumes concerns me (hubby is on oxygen). TY Crystal 🔮 for another great tutorial!

    Great video! I am still a little confused as to whether or not if you used a wood cutting board, could the board actually be used for food??? And it doesn't have to be sealed??? Any advice or direction would be so helpful and appreciated. thank you!

    thank you for sharing. Would I be able to use my heat gun that I use for embossing or is that not hot enough? Please advise. Thank you

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Před rokem

      Hi Nancy! The torch paste would need to be heated to 400 degrees if your heat gun can get that high! - Dawn 🙂

    Can you use it on a cutting board? What would you put on cutting board to make it food safe?

    • @zullo3529
      @zullo3529 Před 2 lety +2

      You wouldn’t need to put anything over it because it is chemically burnt into the wood. On cutting boards you can use hemp oil or any quality cutting board oil.

    Is the torch paste made by the same manufacturer as the scorch pen?

    Thanks for the great idea. Your link on Amazon for the wood coasters does not lead you to wood. It leads you to thin pieces of wood "chips" as they call it. Do you have the correct link for the wood you used?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Před 2 lety

      Hi Patty! Our apologies! These would work as well, but check the sizing to make sure it works with your project: www.amazon.com/Unfinished-Pre-drilled-Christmas-Ornaments-Decoration/dp/B07H82YDV5

    When apply the torch paste just use a sponge it’s much easier and safe not go underneath the stencil

      Wet or dry sponge? Also does the paste need to be dried 1st before removing the stencil?

    is there a difference from the easy press or heat press ?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Před 2 lety

      Hi Amber! While they can both be used for the same projects, the heat press applies the pressure for you as the easy press does require you to push down to add the pressure needed for your project. Also, there is a difference in price between the two so it also depends on your budget and crafting needs!
