Just purchased my 55 2 weeks ago after test driving 3 different 911s. Loved the 911 but the interior quality, comfort and plushness changed my decision to the 55. The 911 engine has a louder natural sound, but the exhaust on the 55 sounded better. Also, this is more of a head turner than a 911. You see so many 911 carreras but my state only had 3 GT55 so nobody’s seen it. I’ve had people take pictures of my car when parked and turned a lot more heads than 911. Go with this!
I just put in an order for a 2025 model so I could get the rear seats (none of the ones arriving now have them due to a manufacturing delay). Can't wait - this was easily my pick over a 911!

Have a 2014 C63. Wish I could afford this though. Love mine have a 115k miles on it. There ain't nothing like an amg, in my eye's. This thing is insane 🤘🤘 anyone opting for a 911, don't even bother, the driving fun is, not the same. Say what you want porsche, people

Absolutely gorgeous machine and I'd definitely take one over a 911. However, money aside, I'd go for the new Aston Martin DB12 or Vantage over this.
I have the AMG GT C for a while now.. its nice.
When everyone sees that Mercedes front grill emblem- nothing more needs to be spoken! The silent advertised that you have ‘arrived’, you are accomplished; and you have reached a certain maturity in your life!

If I ever sell my LC500 this or the M5 Touring would be my next ride
I was thinking about the LC 500 UNTIL I started to see videos on the AMG 55! Lexus really needs to up its game and update the LC 500 and thus does not mean a hybrid (not selling a lot of LC 500h models) or a twin turbo V6 engine.
I'm glad they haven't gotten rid of the
AMG performance seats. I have them I my c63s and I love them. I see them less in the newer models.
What I'm noticing is mercedes prices are jumping up drastically and now you will have to spend well over 100k in order to have a non hybrid AMG vehicle meanwhile the c63 started in the 70s just a few years ago
I'm always the fan of Mercedes & I buy this.

I own a 911 C2S. I have to admit I like the looks of the Mercedes more. But I've read the gas mileage with the Mercedes is terrible and the gas tank is small. I recently drove my 911 to Vail and back (320 miles) and still had a 1/4 tank left.
I have one, it’s a hoot.

i have a GT55 on order. to hell with Porsche and their egrigious price gauging. Any 911 that is somewhat desireable they are chargiong way over sticker. i will not pay over sticker period. I think the GT55 is a better daily driver and more bang for the buck.
No denying this is a great car! and beautify reviewed by the way Well,l done sir! However, and it’s probably a personal thing here, but Ferrari will always have the edge. Just something passionate, romantic and exciting about that Italian company! Germans really do try, and come very close. But it’s just that last 5% Might as well be 1000%

Crazy to think this generation is 800lbs heavier then the previous... I would get Previous gen or a 911

lol a C8 Z06 will smoke this POS Mercedes , not to mention the Z06 costs less
it's a vette...onlky wheenies drive vettes. and can't afford a european performance car.
I have a c8Z06 but this Mercedes will be my next car
