    Very informative, thanks! Do you know if rumors are true about a M20B27 eta block being wider at the bottom and taking stroker crankshafts easier?

    • @TurbineResearch

      Not sure about that. However the 2.5 block fits it just fine with 5min of grinding

    Thank you for sharing such great information. I wish to know if you are using an M20B25 block. If not, would such a build work on a B25 block?
    Thank you

    Thanks for the info, do you have a link to those rods? The only part I’m stuck on is finding good quality 135 mm rods for my 2.9l m20 (m52 crank and 85 mm pistons).

      I’m planning to make 600+ hp/tq reliably so I bought forged rods. They are custom CP pistons and 135mm Hbeam rods

    hello, lovely and informative video. I am currently building an m20 with m54b25 crank shaft, pistons & rods, would I experience any similar issues to what you've just mentioned?

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  Před rokem +2

      I don’t think you will have any issues with the m54b25 parts. The stroke is less than the b30 and it all should fit well. I’m excited you are using all m54 parts that is what I wanted to do originally

      Not sure on this one

    • @XPbIM3
      @XPbIM3 Před rokem +1

      Not gonna happen. B25 pistons are high crowned. And b23 head is flat with no inward pool for 2.5 piston crown. The only way is to CNC machine pistons down flat.

    • @wesleyfontaine3438
      @wesleyfontaine3438 Před rokem

      @@XPbIM3 100 % correct sir. After lots of research I found out it is possible with altering pistons. Since the dropped valve damaged one piston it may be the only option. Thanks

      @@wesleyfontaine3438 did done that to mine b25 for turbo. B25 bottom with machined pistons and b20 head. Result is somewhat 8-8.5 compression ratio.
