I'm just gonna lay on the floor and cry for a while. The animation is so stellar, and even if Pikmin death is normal in the games, seeing it depicted so meaningfully gets me in the feels. How you depict their time in limbo is frightening but cool. Thank you for another incredible animation!
That’s my favorite part of all these, being outside of the confines of time for a little while seeing that which they fragment from into the physical

Well the Mamuta makes sense because it’s named “The God of Pikmin” in the wiki
Smokey Progg is the substance of smoke since it’s a endless cycle of creation
Pikmin Die = Corrupted Mamuta Egg
Corrupted Mamuta Egg = Smokey Progg
Smokey Progg Dies = Substance stench
Substance stench = Glow Pikmin

i love the implication at the end there that once a pikmin dies, it becomes a glow pikmin. finally, a respite from being hounded by that whistle..! until pikmin 4 that is

atleast the pikmin seem to LOVE labor, so it's not all bad

Nice to see how much more you put into this with adding in a Candy Pod Bud and SnitchBug, especially with the twist end of Smokey Progg because of the unlucky Pikmin soul to corrupt Mamuta egg and come down at the end to become glow Pikmin
If I ever became a Pikmin, I would pray to every deity there is that I never end up one of Louie's Pikmin.

They weren't singing it, that was the actual in-game track.
@@syweb2 I just rewatched it and when they were climbing the sand hill I thought the sounf they were singing was the Waterwraith chase theme.

This might be one of my favorite videos on the internet. I can’t really explain why, it’s just, everything is so well crafted and put together. You really managed to capture the feeling of the Pikmin series. It really makes me want a Pikmin movie hehe
These environments are so beautifully crafted! These are Definitely some of the best works out there in the Pikmin community
This is just so good! The ideas of what happens in the pop buds but also after a Pikmin dies are so creepy and cool. My favorite scene was when the day ended and the lumiknolls started to light up and you could here the night melody in the background. Just amazing!

God. I love these animations on a level I can't explain. I remember wondering what these would look like as a child playing Pikmin 1 and 2, and seeing them makes me smile.

Very good! The only inaccuracy was when you convert Pikmin into another colour, they get spat out as seeds.
This is unrealistic no way that pikmin lived that long especially under Louie. Also holy shit this looks amazing

i love this animation it's well put together, and make you really feel like you see what the pikmin sees, but i do have one thing id like to add, when the transformed blue gets turned into a white i wish when the snagret ate the white it killed it because of white's poisons.

it was such a missed opportunity that puffmin didnt return in pikmin 4, I was pretty pissed when I saw that the pikmin just started doing the groovy long legs thing in-game.
I think the reason is that they didn't want to make puffmin models for all the new pikmin types, but it's still lame that they didn't even really try.

I'm always impressed with how you convey a compelling story without the use of any dialogue.
