His wisdom and his great heart are gifts to this world.
I met him about two weeks ago. So down to earth; He thanked us for being fans and told me I have a beautiful family. For sure that memory will stick with us. Guy was like one of my fucking heroes back in the day.

And then after a decade of obscurity, you skyrocket back to heavens and become the most respect man in your field. Dave Chapelle’s journey is nothing short of legendary.

Growing up the Chappelle show was the best. I don’t know how many times I rewatched the vhs and dvds. It’s a part of my childhood memories 🙏🏽 Back when Comedy Central was good!

Completely agree. Just jackpot sketch after sketch after sketch. Ashy Larry, I know Black People, Knee High Park, Black Bush, Rick James, Prince, Lil John, Tyrone Biggums on Fear Factor, Wayne effin Brady. Holy hell it was brilliant.

My mom lives like 4 miles from yellow springs , Ohio where Dave resides. So many stories from locals of him just basically being a normal dude.
