- This is the famed "fab 4 interview" there is some WILD bodylanguage in this one. Let's see what you all think. Harry and Meghan especially have really interesting expressions. It is interesting that the interviewer seems already prepared to deal with Meghan Markle being a bit rude.
I find it offensive, as an American, when Meghan and her fans use her “being American” as an excuse for her rudeness. No, with this chick it’s deeper than that. It’s notable that recent charitable appearances have NOT given her the opportunity to speak,
She obviously believes in the old "refined European/unrefined American" stereotype. Her small mind is unable to think beyond cliches.
I am English and have only met polite Americans.
She is the most classless, crass example of an American, and it's embarrasing!!
I have met some really polite, eloquent americans whobwere very modest and were not hell bend on taking the center stage. So no, her behavior is not "american".

Meghan *literally* said she used to work with smaller organizations that were “higher impact” than the Royal Foundation. Abhorrent. Egregious. Rude. And just downright cruel to say while sitting next to the people who have built the Royal Foundation from the ground up. The reason I’m so intrigued by Meghan’s behavior is because I’m continually stunned someone behaves this way.

As soon as Catherine was addressed as “Duchess”, Markle’s mask slips and you can see her icy, hostile glare at Catherine. Both This One and his wife already had major resentment towards the Cambridges before showing up at this engagement. Their attitudes were truly unprofessional and unwarranted.

Prince William and Princess Catherine are speaking from knowledge of the project. With Meghan, here comes the cliches and buzzwords. She is devoid in diplomacy.
She comes to upstage everyone and compete, its never about the topic at hand but in the end she couldn't compete so she packed it up and ran off.
When the pair left Britain, the Royal Foundation was split. Harry took his half to the USA and we all know how generous and how little impact on charities they’ve had.
William and Catherine have used their Foundation to continue their mental health initiatives, fund research into children’s early years, work to eliminate homelessness and The Earthshot Awards. That’s why Prince William and Princess Catherine are respected, they put their money where their mouths are.

She is eaten up with jealousy. Her list of achievements regarding charities were overstated because when quizzed on anything, she fluffs off topic. Markle is unworthy of title and acknowledgement.
I've watched this interview before, and this is the first time I've realized that Meghan totally threw the foundation under the bus. She goes on to say how the things she was involved with were bigger with a broader audience and less red tape. Then she's saying, of course I wasn't here in the beginning, and I'll be able to fix all of they're wrong doings now. She's an actual freak.

The three of them had done a mental health awareness campaign and other charitable ventures through their foundation, then along comes Meghan and she decides to try and show them how to do it. Yeah, the press and KP should have waited to see how everyone worked out first but everyone likes to see what they feel is a perfect family. They want the Norman Rockwell. It makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The sad thing is everyone gave her a pass. This interview was before their wedding. She wasn’t even a Duchess yet and this is how she was speaking about the royal foundation.
Looking back at it you realise how incredibly rude she was at this event. The media was actually on her side gushing about the Fab Four.
Allegedly the bullying allegations were starting to circulate behind the scenes. The palace press office was preventing the story from being published.
It was only in 2021 that the story was eventually printed. The story was too big. The fact that so many of their staff were leaving was enough of a clue to the public that something wasn’t right.
And that revolving door of staff leaving them is still happening at Archewell Foundation. Their fifth PR head left before New Year.

Exactly, she's always so quick to criticize and tell everyone how it should be done but never delivers .
I remember when I first saw this, I was still a supporter of hers and I still felt like she came off horribly. She is arrogant and condescending. She’s competitive and not a team player. She thought this was her moment to shine; thinking she had more experience than everyone else. She likes to play newly-appointed CEO and acts like she is coming in to fix things.
I didn't hear the interviewer ask her for all that. It's just more of her word salad. She's obviously trying to appear like she's smarter than William and Kate.
She wasn’t even married to Harry at this time. I find it HORRIBLE that she basically lied to them (about being pregnant at first) was MARRIED before and insisted on wearing white (AGAINST the Queen’s wishes) and having a big to-do. I have been married before. I think this disqualifies ME from what she feels entitled to. The Royal Family showed warmth in “welcoming” her. And then she shit all over everybody.
Great point on the misrepresentation of "strong" women actually being rude women. Some women use that excuse for their rudeness. I know a lot of women who are actually very strong and independent who are polite and soft-spoken. Real strength comes from the inside. It does not try to show and tell everyone that they are strong when they are in reality very insecure and empty.

I suspect Rachel meg stares at other people, women particularly, because she is constantly comparing herself to others - I think that deep down she knows she is not at their higher level, and never will be. I think her stares are often deep, angry, resentment and animosity because they are where she wants/ thinks she ought to be.

Watching the four of them, I got the impression W & C are the adults and H & M are the misbehaving children, sniggering and giggling. Another thing that stood out was The Wales presented and spoke as a team, all four were a team working together. The Sussex gave off the impression of two people conspiring, the laughing while looking at each other, not allowing anyone else to be in on "their" joke. It's obvious by the way W & C sat quietly, looking on, not even a crack of a smile, that they were uncomfortable and unhappy with what they were seeing.

I do not & would not criticize the UK audience here, but if this had taken place in the US the reaction to Meghan’s arrogance and rudeness would’ve been met with a near- violent disgust & hatred of this vile reptile and the backlash would’ve been eternal and toxic. We love our UK cousins because they are so civilized and deliberate with their speech - something we greatly respect & admire. However. In the case of this woman the reaction would’ve been not tolerated, deadly & deserved. And this is why Markle has ever spoken or behaved in quite this fashion in the US as she knows she would face immediate, loud and the wrath of a rowdy country that will not tolerate such behavior, especially toward the delicate and expecting Catherine who we love. I think Meghan's face when Catherine is speaking is just Meghan trying to *look* like she's listening and pleasantly smiling, but it's not genuine and that's also coming through in her expression. She looks kind of blank and her face relaxes into hostility and then you can see her hike the smile back on there.

I think Meghan was trying to look past Princess Catherine to catch glimpses of Prince William. I think MM actually fantasized that William would leave Catherine and she Harry, that they had "a love that dare not speak it's name" sorta thing. She will day dream of being, "Queen Nutmeg", til she draws her last breath.
Love how the interviewer handled Meghan "...And don't be too critical", everyone knew even at that early stage.
Wish this interviewer had taken the place of Tom Bradby and Oprah in Harry & Meghan's later interviews where they were highly critical of the royal family.

One of the best bits of that interview was when they all got up to leave. Megsy baby wanted to make dure she was first down the steps (didn't want to have to traipse along after William and Catherine + Hazbeen), but she couldn't find the steps. Total cringe 😬😬

The expression on Meghan's face when she is listening to and watching William is different to how she looks at and listens to Catherine. There is definitely more hostility in her reaction to Catherine compared to William, who she looks at with almost laser focus. Honestly I would probably feel uncomfortable with how she was looking at me if I were Catherine, but Catherine is so poised and classy she does not really show any signs of discomfort.
William & Catherine are actually really good speakers. They're direct without any buzzwords.

As I understand it they were talking about UK charities and Meghan just has to keep throwing around her stupid “global impact” phrase, she has done no homework as usual (except Rwanda for L’Oréal, or whatever). I wanted to like her so much I couldn’t see this at the time!
