I think DJ is the guy that's holding us back. From a personell standpointi, this is a defense designed to play downhill like Miami did. We could wreak havoc and destruction on opposing teams. But DJ has them hanging back and playing a prevent defense. I think he should let them pin their ears back and let loose the dogs of war. I think he undervalues the talent of his players and is worried more about keeping his job than he is about winning. But it's actually working against him. The talent of this defense is off the scale. They are made and built to seek and destroy, not to hang back and let the offense come at them. It reminds me of what our offensive coordinator once shared about Johnny Manziel. "We didn't realize just what we had ". When they just turned him loose, amazing things started to happen. I feel the same way about this defense. Jimbo needs to tell DJ Jerkoff to take off the leash!

I think thats a good point. It does feel like he is holding them back. Its a mentality thing and one that is more passive. I wish he had more of an aggressive stance.
