  • In this video, I will show you how to upgrade to the 1.1MM orifice in a cheap amazon foam cannon to see if it's worth the time and money.
I will test the amazon (cheap) foam cannon with the original orifice that comes installed. Then I will show you how to remove and install the new 1.1mm orifice.
I will test both orifice with the same saop, soap qty, and out of the same cannon.
At the end of the video, there will be a side by side clip showing both orifice at the same time to show which one is better or if they are the same.
tools, chemicals, and equipment used are linked below:

Added the 1.1mm orifice to a SunJoe cannon using the SPX3000 pressure washer. The change made a world of difference to the foam quality vs the original orifice. My first try was pretty much like yours. New orifice and the foam was way thicker. Used CG Honeydew, 2oz to 28oz water.

In the description of a foam cannon that came with different size orifices I read that the orifice size depends on the pressure your washer can provide.
1.1mm is better for low output washers 800-1800psi
1.25mm better for high output washers 1800-5000psi

changing the orifice is kind of missing the point... you want the foam to clean the dirt off far more than you want it to foam up. who cares if it's the best foam in the world if the product you use doesn't clean? this whole "big foam action" thing is like comparing lubricants based on how good they smell.

True but I’d much rather one that smells of strawberries than rotten eggs or something. Similar to that, I want something with good cleaning product BH AF, and good foaming action
