- The Windows XP recovery console is used to diagnose issues when it comes to starting Windows XP. But it turns out there's actually a hidden startup animation that is disabled by default.

Yeah, I remember seeing the gray blocks during installation of Windows XP.
I do not remember it even though I installed XP many times. I only remember blue bars
@@windestruct the bitmaps only display on an upgrade install
It's only when you update, not clean install.
Nobel Tech Oh, right.
@@NobelTech I see that On My Upgrade saga Video. Where i Upgrade from 2000 to xp. Though the First Low Color pallet looks weird and scary and It got Fixed after the Loading screen
I love how it just says "Windows"
This Is funny because the Blue Bars turned into Grey

How to enter Recovery mode in Windows XP?
You can use the Windows xp CD-ROM
what if you installed it from a USB drive?
@@diamondmanpixel76_ng same thing, you need to upgrade in order to see the boot screen though
Man, I have never seen this before.
Windows xp had ms-dos lol
Not MS-DOS. It's just a Command Line That uses The Recovery Console. You probably notice the Recovery Console when Installing Windows xp on a Brand New PC. By the way This Change Back in The Longhorn Days Where the Pre-installation Environment is Now here. I remember the Pre-installation Environment Back when i was Installing Windows 7 Until The Latest Windows 11
Best: Win XP!
I think an early build of Windows Server 2003 had a boot screen like this.
This was used on the ERD Commander
I find the fact it just says "Windows" mildly Ominous
Wait, that's the boot screen from whistler server build 2493
When this boot screen got sus unlike as original
I've seen a still picture of this before
Windows without version
Windows Whistler build 2493
So I have a lot of music and stuff on my computer. So does it delete all my data or not?
this is also the upgrade bootscreen
Uhhhh i think the link of this video says "Gay" my gosh rare cases
How did you get the recovery console on the boot menu and with Windows logo? I remember that is only boot from CD and Press "R".
You have to install the Recovery console to the hard drive, and then modify the BOOT.INI file to remove the /NOGUIBOOT flag from the Windows XP Recovery Console entry. This might be a bit tricky, but works.
@@L30NBL4NK How can I do that?
@@nikkeilol1938 You need to have a Windows XP Pro Edition or Media Center Edition setup CD, and then, boot on it.
I had this while the installation (upgrade)
That's it?
Called "windows recovery mode"
early!
Windows Server 2003
Fake or Real?
