It's interesting to me that out of all characters they chose is Ruby. It could have been any demon, But I think it was a way for Jared and Jensen's wives in sharing a scene together more than anything.

@@actionjaxon517 Actually that wasn't the sole reason. An opportunity for that just presented itself when Danneel came on board to the show. Genevieve had mentioned in an interview she expressed wanting to return for the final season in any capacity. Because she had fun returning for the French Mistake. Also Jared expressed earlier on when asked which characters he wanted to return. He said Ruby. As in his wive's version. (Not Katie's.) for obvious reasons. So originally it was for Jared and Gen to sneak her back into the final Season. Then they had the idea to put Anael and Ruby together for a scene since they were friends etc. So that's partially the reason but not the sole reason.

@@jacquelinemilom4164 I read the same interview. Believe me I'm grateful for anyone who has an opportunity to return to the show for a purpose. It's fascinating to me that Ruby would hide the garden of Eden in a church guarded by hellhounds. More than anything I can see Crowley doing it. But also if Lucifer was leading Ruby to hide Eden it'd make sense too. It makes me hope later on this season that we see Ruby and understand more about why she would side with an angel, even Anael herself. Still, pretty solid episode. I hope the virus leaves soon So Jared and Jensen and Misha and Alex can finish filming the last two episodes and that the post-production team can finish the remaining episodes as well.

There are too many dropped and forgotten storylines and reactions like cas's death and how it effected everyone, Cas forgetting to help ruby, Sam and dead just letting go jack to be new god, no talk about Eileen after she was erased and probably brought back in the end and more
@@lenakataeva7525 Everyone got a second chance in Jack's rule. Having said that, don't for one second think Chuck is a had been, he still has his typewriter, which essentially is the most powerful device in the supernatural world.
Rachel and Misha worked so so so well together. I was so sad when they killed Meg off. Rachel looks fantastic too, I'm glad she's doing so well!

What I think will happen due to the many foreshadowings
1. Cas will almost certainly be dragged into the Empty some time before the finale but he won’t stay dead
2. Cas will bring some angels and demons out of the Empty (like what he promised to Ruby)
3. All of the cosmic players (Chuck, Death, The Empty) are all ignoring Cas, meaning he is a big wild card that can flip things on its head
I kind of think the Shadow will have what it wants. Cas isn't invincible, he can be destroyed and while the cosmic players ignore him for now, it's because 1) God doesn't care or has planned something for him, 2) Billie/Death has plans for him to (at least because she probably wants him to help the Winchesters) and 3) the Shadow/the Empty (assuming they're the same...thing) wants to make sure Death's plan will work before attacking Cas. My idea is that at the end, Castiel will sacrifice himself or something and the Shadow will get him. Or my personal idea : Death is wrong, Jack doesn't succeed into killing God, God is about to win and then suddenly, Castiel asks the Shadow to help them as a last resort in exchange for his life and the Shadow destroys God.
@@dikastederook6380 Cas will be dragged to the Empty in the next few episodes (apparently Misha is absent in episode 14 and 16, so I'm guessing episode 15 he will die) but he'll be back. Misha said he'll be in the final scene, so yeah, I think Cas might actually survive. And I'm almost certain that Billie's plan will fail, it will be too easy to just have the plan works

Man, these cosmic beings really don’t care about anything but their order. The Shadow just wants to go back to sleep, Death wants to make sure sure everyone’s stories play out the way they’re supposed to. Meanwhile Chuck and Amara kind of just do whatever. Amara may not be messing with anything right now, but it’s still out in the open. Though one might argue that she’s less inclined to dabble with the balance of things, as she sees herself as not as egotistical and more evolved than Chuck.
I don't think the Shadow actually cares for order. Returning to its sleep doesn't seem to have anyhting related to the state of existence, it's more something it wants. Wich is kind of logical if we go through the theory that the Shadow is the embodiement of the Void or the Primordial Chaos. It's not supposed to exist and by being awake, it exists.
Vincent Barriera that technically is a part of order, at least in regards to itself. That’s kind of why I said their order and not the universal order. It could care less about what happens topside as long as it gets to remain asleep. I do wonder though. Had Cas been revived by someone else rather than him being sent back by the Shadow itself, would it have had such a beef with Cas? Cas has been revived before over and over.
@@JiraiyaSama86 I guess God is able to take angels and demons from the Empty without upseting the Shadow. But when Jack prayed to Castiel and woke him up in the Empty, he became existing in a place where nothing should exist, awakening the Shadow. Because of that and because he was casted out by the Shadow, on Ruby's words, he is connected to the Empty and the reason why the Shadow can't go to sleep. Perhaps, when Castiel dies and returns to the Empty, the Shadow will be able to sleep again.
Rafael Matos that’s likely the case. Castiel wasn’t even properly resurrected, so that may also be a factor to the Shadow being awake. At least when God resurrected things from the Empty, they and it were still asleep. But Cas woke up IN the Empty which woke It up.
Well yes typically cosmic being don't care about anything but order unless they have their favourites they may toss them a bone or something or if a deity or supernatural likes them and intervenes on their behalf
It is interesting seeing Castiel interact with Ruby. Basically Misha interacting with Jared's wife Genevieve.
What is saddest of all, is that Meg isn’t in heaven 😭 after all she’s been through 😭 she’s just in the Empty living all her regrets over and over again. They never got to order pizza and move some furniture around 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

Meg WHAT?! Rewatch 1, 2, 5, 6 seasons. She killed people being in Sam, she wanted Dean to kill him until Dean and Bobby found way to get her away. In season 5 she was on Lucifer side. She and her demons almost killed Dean by Bobby. Bobby made himself invalid no to to do it. When Lucifer was summoning Death, she killed Ellen an her mother. And in season 6 she while prepairing to kill king of hell said: "THIS IS FOR LUCIFER". Of course brothers after everything ended wanted finally to kill her.

Sam slept with Ruby and Dean slept with Anna. In the end Jared married fake Ruby (demon) and Dean married a women who eventually become an Angel.....it's kind of a nice symmetry and kinda funny.

Honestly surprised we didn't see more of her this season; especially after the deal they made. She may have manipulated Sam into killing Lillith and setting Lucy free, but she did them a HUGE solid telling them the 20 on the Occultum. It was used to stop something much, much more powerful. Lucifer is nothing to God. Like an Ant, compared to the Sun.
This actually makes NO sense. Only Lilith knew what side Ruby was on. And ALSO, lucifer and michael were circling each other in season five. Ruby died in season four so...this scene makes no sense!!!!! If this was meant to be around season four, lucifer was still in the cage.
yeah but Ruby's plan was to release Lucifer and all and Ruby knew the angels wanted to do the big Lucifer vs Michael thing /i think; she knew they existed in s4 and she probably knew there was going to be a war if the seals are broken, also the angels wanted the seals broken too/

I think it does. If you consider that both Hell and Heaven were basically helping to break Lucifer out. So technically both sides were circling each other in season 4, preparing for the big battle.

This is just one of many examples of how bad the writing was toward the end. The scene with ruby and the angel shouldn't have been possible as by the time Lucifer and Michael were circling each other, ruby had long been dead.

I’m almost certain that Billie’s plan will fail (cause if it just succeeds, it will be too predictable and bland), so the whole prophesied “messengers of God’s destruction” is just a red herring, and it will be free will, not some random destinies, that will decide the result of this war

empramz 18445 stupid bibro. The show writers would never call Cas unimportant to just kill him off like some side character. Cas is part of TFW, part of Sam and Dean’s family, and a main character. Everyone (Chuck, Death, the Empty) saying Cas has no part to play is definitely foreshadowing that he’ll have a big part in Chuck’s demise. Even back in season 4 they hinted that Chuck has no control over Cas (“You’re not a part of this story.” “Well we’re making it up as we go”). I have a feeling that Cas will be the end of Chuck in some way.

In a great fanfic that just finished up he ultimately did by convincing Jack to resurrect Ruby as a human. Ruby got brought back as a natural witch and became a hunter working with Adam. She ended up tying up a lot of the loose threads of the show during the story and it delved into her own shocking past. She got a happy ending in the end though

I still dont get it whats the whole purpose of empty in season 15. Excepy whining about pain and get to sleep. Expecr for resting place for angels and demons what is she, shadow? But didnt ammara supposed to be darkness, shadow? They introduced big concepts but never fully developed them, and they turn chuck into villian. And again didnt have good writing to justify it. The show went down hill after season 10, they try to go bigger and bigger and jist created mess. I remeber when lucifer was first going to be back I was excited until he open his mouth instead of season 5 calm and soft spoken scary devil he became like hallucination lucifer and then became a clown.
