She really is a thing of beauty.Congrats and good luck with the R. Until you got the Si, I did not used to be a Honda fan even though I know they are generally good cars. But man they have really stepped it up and killed it with the styling and clearly the performance as well. I've now included the si in my car search rather then newer model Audi and I'm so excited to find one.
Recently picked up my si a few weeks ago and Fs say the si is such a blast to drive. Me personally I’d pick the si over the Audi. Cheaper to run and maintain as well as save money on the purchase for a way more reliable car. Also the new interior is so nice for a Honda I honestly wouldn’t care for the Audis interior
@@alexxxxxxxxxx8850 thanks for the insight that's awesome and yea I am and always will be audi fan have one now and love it but you are not wrong.. Cost of ownership and service etc is less than ideal. Also funny u mention the interior cus that is one of the BIG things for me that this new si /Honda in general has done to really sway me. It just looks so much more sophisticated now and almost German like. I love it.

@@AC-Ninja besides the stupid dealer markups. There’s not much to worry about/ lookout for. Although they are going very fast so if your able to get ur name on a list I’d do it asap if u are considering. Where I got mine from in MI it was the only one they had/ we’re getting for a few months. Besides that I’ve had no issues at all although it’s still new but man I honestly love the car. Obviously in no place to tell u how to spend your money but if u already have an Audi u love and enjoy try the si out. Promise it won’t let u down. Oh and honestly not getting the heated steering wheel/seats doesn’t really bother me just start the car before u go let it heat up and ur good

I just got my 2023 Si two days ago in the Blazing Orange color thanks in large part to your content! I love this car and I am excited to drive in it every time I get in. Thank you for picking it up and showing us how much fun you can have without blowing the bank on a higher end sports car. I hope you enjoy the type R just as much!

Props to Honda for being so successful in designing a car that can be so good at delivering such a wide range of driving experiences. Between the base to the Si to the Type R they’ve really got the formula nailed down.
Also love that you upgraded models so quickly, I picked up my ‘16 A3 last summer and it makes me feel better about wanting to upgrade to the new S3 next year 👀
the latest S3 would be a big jump up from the previous gen A3, i test drove one a while back and was super impressed. not many better cars for ~50k.

Only let down with the Civic is the awful CVT. I know, just get the manual right? But still what Honda is doing now with their lineup is a bit disturbing. Killing the Accord with tiny, underpowered engines and again CVT's. Completely underpowered new CRV where they finally got the chassis and steering sorted out. Awful guinea pig of a car that is the HRV. Killing the Jazz or Fit depending where you are... Thank God they're keeping the 3.5 V6 v-tec in their biggest models but you can't really have much fun driving them.

Coming from a Stage 2 Golf R, your SI videos (along with The Topher) inspired me to discover that power isn’t everything to enjoy a drive. This lead me to test a 2008 MX5 in July - my first time ever - and I’m now the proud owner of a Polymetal Grey Club (GS-P in Canada) with BBR package, which I took delivery of last Saturday with 3kms.

Enjoyed following your videos for the si. I have a spouse that has always owned a manual sedan including 4 Accords and a current Civic. When we buy our next vehicle I'll be on the lookout for an si, as it is the only manual option left. Plus it looks like a hell of a lot of fun to drive. Enjoy the new ride.

I recently purchesed a '22 GTI S trim and have been loving it. although I mainly wanted a SI I couldnt find one and really didnt want to compremise on a sedan for my life style. But I gotta say one day, when im older and can afford one I hope to be able to have a CTR white just like yours. I can tell by that shifter its soooo good. Thanks for the content and for the driving videos I get to watch when its too snowy to drive haha. happy holidays!!

I’m not gonna lie, even as an Elantra N owner, your praise for the Si had me thinking about ditching the EN for one and pocketing the difference, but I’m glad I stuck with the Hyundai. I’m absolutely in love with the red interior, and the Championship White just completes the traditional Honda racing look. I’m really looking forward to your new CTR content!

Very cool, can't wait to hear those Si/R comparisons. Hope you'll break down who you think will really benefit from stepping up. Contemplating doing some track oriented mods on my Si that I might feel "guilty" doing on an R since everyone raves about how great it feels from the factory.
I'd like to see that video as well.
However, the easiest breakdown for me is if you don't track at all - SI. If you track quite a bit, Type R. If you track once a year or might want to track a bit? SI with upgraded pads.

Genuinely happy for you! Made the switch myself earlier from a MK8 to a MK7 Fiesta ST because it's more raw and old school so I'm that guy too. Looking forward to see Type R videos which imo is a hybrid between the SI and the M3 apart from the RWD? I might be wrong but your excitement is real.

Have you thought about putting rainx or getting the windshield coated so water just beads right off? It helps a lot when going over 40 mph that you don’t need your wipers at all. Saves wipers and the windscreen from getting scratched. Makes a huge difference in the clarity during inclement weather!

congrats on the Type R I watched your vids prior to trading in my 10th gen accord to the 11th gen Si. I really love this car over the R cause of the sunroof and the fuel economy plus it has more than enough punch for me. The Type R is for people with intentions of tracking like you. It's all dependent on lifestyle and practicality but that thing is a beast and I would compromise if not for the dealers trying go in raw no lube.
