    I have 18th century reproduction Great Highland Pipes and Smallpipes. I love to hear the early instruments

      Yes these are reproduction from a surviving example but they are really good for playing the modern UK repertoire and they can handle the modern Irish tunes as well, if slightly different to modern Uilleann pipes. And I see them mostly as a modern UK folk music instrument but it's nice to explore the history too.
