source 2 wasn't made for nothing
no, alot of people ordered within the first couple of minutes (in april wave 1) and have not received the processing email, on top of that HTC reps have told some people in wave 1 that they wont receive their vive until end of april... all of the vive pre-order fiasco is a complete mess
I ordered mine on March 1st. I got my processing E-mail last week. It says they will start shipping in May.
"Thank you for your HTCVIVE.com order - We will start shipping May 2016. Your pre-order's estimated arrival will be based from the date you receive your shipping notification. You will be receiving a notification once your product has been shipped with a tracking number for your convenience. Please note that your shipment will require a signature upon arrival from the person who placed the order to ensure a safe and secure delivery of your new HTC Vive product."
5 years valve. I look forward to new game content. That will ultimately determine my interest in the Vive.

I only want HTC Vive for the res, i will mostly play racing games, flight sims and arcade flight games too. so not sure if it is worth extra. plus the membership Valve. I can imagine these guys being compatable with omni directional treadmills

+Cirlex - May here as well, but i held off pre ordering mine to see some reviews make sure its worth the very steep AU$1300 Im getting slugged. But still want it right now anyway :-) so Hyped.
I find it kind of odd that they're not advertising their own Broadcast ability first. I understand that Twitch is the go to medium for watching live games, I get that, nor do I have a problem with them using Twitch at all. Does this lead to the end of Broadcasts? Does it mean that Valve and Twitch (a subsidiary of Amazon) are going to in some way merge? After all, Amazon is a competitor of Valve's with their own digital distribution. Why promote a competitor's product? Let me state again that I don't have anything against Twitch. I watch plenty of events on it. I just have to ponder the reasoning behind their choice.
+Cody “Talley” Doolittle Interesting way to look at it. However, I think Valve doesn't even remotely consider Amazon competition, as most of the digital codes they sell will likely have to be redeemed on Steam in the end - the same goes for retail games. Regarding Steam Broadcasting - they could definitely benefit from adding in the functionality, but Broadcasting was never intended as a massive streaming platform like Twitch is, it's mainly used for sharing game content between friends and small groups.
+Nick Blackburn Very true. Valve being a powerhouse in gaming and all. While looking at the Steam Support page and the info page for Steam Broadcast since it is live only, does hamper replayability. I find that quite often, I end up watching events after the fact. If I were Valve, I'd work on recording broadcasts to stream later. But then again, rather than coming out with new innovations, I'd actually work on the broke stuff first or half done projects. Steam for Windows Phone for example. While I love my Android phone, they are causing problems for Windows Phone users. Anyways, before I go off rambling. lol

CSGO is being updated with Source 2. Also, CSGO is updated regularly by hidden path. Constantly, even, so to say "they need a good dusting" is incredibly out of touch. Strange thing to see from a channel seemingly dedicated to everything valve.
CSGO runs on Source 1 and there are absolutely no confirmations of it being ported to Source 2.
Hidden Path stopped working on the game shortly after release.
The updates/patches are 100% by Valve (well, excluding community maps and skins).
