I have a love hate relationship with you guys. I love the content, I love your guys' personality and hosting style, and I love how unique each video is. I just hate how hungry I get after watching it, and I hate I can't have what you guys are having to satiate that hunger......
Hahaa! Sorry about that Prakash, you can usually find recipe's up on the website though!
Make it yourself!
Not really that unique but I some what agree.
i watch their videos when I eat
The easiest way is to only watch whilst you’re eating
Probably the best British youtube channel out there.
Wow that's high praise - glad to hear you think so Robert!
i mean, you’re not wrong
Food Busker
British - relating to Britain or the United Kingdom, or its people or language.
England is in both Great Britain and the United Kingdom. Also, England is not a city. London is a city.
r/whoosh
If I paid £40 for pasta, I'd lick the plate, steal the plate, and be away with the cutlery as well
19 - MACKIE - 87 it was just 22£ and 8£ for the wine :)
Pu still worth nicking the silverware
19 - MACKIE - 87 been n done
I'm American so how much is 49£ in American dollars
almost $70
Barry and James eating “lady and the tramp” style...
#pastagoals 🤣
really enjoy this series. Glad you liked the pici at Padella. I'm a chef there and now I'm really bummed that I missed you guys.
There is nothing more sad than a Scottish lad with 50 pence and no gnocchi. Mean Mike!
How do you guys NOT have 2 million subscribers?
Five good-looking lads. Can cook. Interesting, informative, consistent videos. Interactive on all social media.
I don't get it.What's going on, CZcams?
Keep up the great work, guys.
~ A girl from the land down under.
well they're basically there
They're there
Thanks for this series guys. I have watched A LOT of food shows but there really hasn't been one where someone has done an in depth series on the best food/restaurants in London. Please keep this series up!
Barry is the cutest when he's excited by pasta !! Also I think the first place looked the best !
I'm commenting downstairs! Thanks for making this New Yorker's lunch break and subway rides ever so entertaining! The laughs and joy you create are one of the things I'm most thankful for right before our Thanksgiving here in the states. Plus...you are all such eye candy!
I love this series it’s so entertaining to see all the cool food places in London and comparing the differences between food and the price you get I️t at.
have you seen Worth It on Buzzfeed?
I agree. I have watched A LOT of food shows but there really hasn't been one where someone has done an in depth series on the best food/restaurants in London. I hope Sorted keeps this series going!
REPLY
is it worth it?
Kathryn Mae yeah I have! I really like worth I️t as well hahah
This has got to be the next series/season! These videos are good ideas for London outings!
Awww James nearly got Lady and the Tramp'd! The 10 cacio y pepe looked good!
Aww James' little pasta head tilt ❤❤❤❤
I loved this video! It is always so interesting when you guys go out and review different dishes around London!
YAAAAAYYY! It's been a while since the fish and chips video! So happy you made another one for this series! Hope you continue making more!
Barry's feelz towards his dessert when Ebbers wanted to try some: "It's miiine, my owwwwn, MY PRECIOUSSS!"
Someone else probably already wrote it, but it's not actually licking the plate, it's called "scarpetta", you take a piece of bread, you CLEAN the plate with it, then you eat the bread to fully enjoy your pasta!
Licking the plate is only acceptable at home in your pants on the sofa.
Love this series. Keep them coming! You have so many options in London.
I loved to see you eat all different kinds of pasta: pici, pappardelle, strozzapreti, and I loved hearing your pronunciations, they were pretty spot on! As an Italian I loved this video!
My personal recommendation is the truffle and pecorino ravioli at San Carlo Chiccetti in Covent Garden. They also do an incredible lasagne and carbonara! Actually, I love all their food... God, now I'm hungry! Anyway, I very much enjoyed this episode :D
James is so cute xD "But I have a 50 right here, please, please!"
Love you guys! You're my guilty pleasure after a long day at work- thank you!!
Love time traveling back to when this was possible... Shot of sanity in 2020, thanks boys 💚💚💚
this video is just james and barry going on a date with mike filming it and ben is just the awkward third wheel
I love having more Ginger James. I rate the Scot. Please keep it up.
LOVING THE AMAZING PRODUCTION QUALITY
I love these different price challenges! Please do more!
You guys should do this up north, everything is so much cheaper. It would be interesting to see what you could get for the same budgets
Ignore the boo-ers, I love whatever video you guys put out !
Love Ben and James interactions!
Brilliant video in every way!!! Love the banter.
If I am ever there I know where to go now! Or if my son ever goes. He is an absolute pasta addict though that is partially my fault. :) - Heidi
How about you guys have some drinks for the authenticity and then head head out to find the best drunk food in London?
Because they'd end up loving a pot noodle or any old shit
@@annother3350 Pot noodle isn't that bad.
Nikki0228 if you are from London, I am genuinely interested in what is the “drunk food” there. Can you tell me you opinion?
Because I am from Finland and usually people get grill food from a kiosk, kebab, cheap pizza or mcdonalds (the lines got longer after they started selling vegan burgers).
@@stabocat6029 kebab or a maccy ds
As a London and food lover, these vidoes of you eating at London restaurants is amazing!!
My little girl absolutely loved your video and it has inspired her to try more pasta and sauces. She has thought long and hard about what food you should sample and experience next .. she says you should try that Spanish food...Paella! Keep up the great work boys. From us up in Yorkshire.
Next in London: Hidden gems near tourist spots.
When they were outside the second restaurant, and Ben said it was too posh to lick the plate, I was waiting for it to cut to Barry licking his plate. 😁
Great you guys do pasta. My weakness. Oh god Barry's dish looked amazing. Thanks for making me hungry as usual guys. In recent videos I've been sensing an emerging bromance between Barry and James. Its brilliant.
Yes thank you! I’m going to London in December so I’m definitely going to look these up 😍
Barry nailed it, £12 is spot on for a really good pasta dish and a £20 for a main and dessert is what I'd be looking for when I go out. I can't imagine spending £40 on a single main course anywhere for any dish, unless it's a selection of incredibly rare meats from across the globe, along with luxury sides and some molecular gastronomy going on
The first dish that James picked is still on the menu but for £12 now
*James doesn't like queuing* = confirms James it truely Scottish :)
I fucking hate queuing - don't think I've ever allowed myself to. I book :)
This is the comment I was looking for!
more of these videos please on curry, sushi, burrito, scones etc :) Thank you so much for all the recommendations - will try them if I get to London! Love from Nottingham xx
love you guys going out and trying new foods
the lads try 3 dishes of pasta at 3 drastically different price points.
tbh i love this format, plz do more :)
Could you look for the best cream tea in London? Or perhaps best carrot cake?
Yes!!!!!! I lived in London for 3 years and was hoping for you to have Emilia's on this list I am from Portugal but an Italian friend took me there it was the best pasta I had in London OMG!!!! So good!
I really wish I had known about your channel years ago. It would have been fun to try some of the places out while I worked as a tour chaperone for one of the military bases in Germany. I was fortunate enough to take a couple of trips to London, I’d love to have been able to hit up the breakfast at the market, some of the sushi joints and definitely some fish and chips! 🙌🏻 Thanks for giving me so many reasons to go back to London! ❤️
I’d never be able to resist James asking to go 50p over with that face. He even had his own coin!
You MONSTERS
okay but...........i was ready for a Barry + James makeout sesh. that was seriously romantic.
Haven't been to the other two places YET but go to Emilias every now and then and it is always DELICIOUS😍
Abolutely love these kinds of videos! Such an entertaining to concept to watch, same goes for your vegan day out :) Not to sat that I'm not a fan of your regular recipe videoes, but these just add a perfect amount of variation - so thanks for making them!
Awh come on... give James his gnocchi ☹☹☹
1:39 No one's going to comment James' adorkable pronunciation of pici cacio e pepe? Next time on SortedFood: Lost and Hungry in Italy.
I completely agree with your observations. Well done. Nice overview.
Oh wow! Me and my friend stumbled into Emilia's in January and the food was SO GOOD!! I had the bolognaise, she had the pesto. The portions were massive and I would eat there every day for the rest of my life if I could.
Mmm, pasta
Best Pho 🍲 in London please
These videos just really make me want to go back to London and eat all the food!
Looove this series!
@SORTEDfood what about London's best dumplings? Could be anything from perogies/varenyky to soup dumplings to gyoza?
London's best street food for under a tenner!
Love these types of videos!!
Its actually so fun to just go on a little trip with you guys on an episode like this once in a while :) It's just like eating food with friends, too bad you get to do most of the eating haha
Do you really see all comments ? :D
How come Barry got to have his dessert and James wasn't allowed gnocchi!
Hara Park Because James would have been over budget. Even if it was only 50p. Lol
Fucking horrible reason. 10.5 is a WHOLE LOT CLOSER to 10 than 6..... I wanted to see the Gnocchi.
Because Mike said no!
Do you guys not pay taxes on food in the UK? I'm assuming all meals were taxes excluded, otherwise they'd have been over-budget regardless!
Because Barry still within his £20
i'm enjoying videos like this! do some more so I'll have an idea about where to eat when I visit london :)
YESSSSS love the £70 challenge videos! More please. :D
"What else should we tackle in London" TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA

Roast Chicken?
Love this series
Just realised I've been watching your videos for over 2 hours now 😂
You guys are super funny and made me remember why I love London (and being a chef) 😃
See the best Indian food London has to offer
Yes!!
Why did this remind me of buzzfeeds worth it UK edition
So they'll take a good idea & make it better .. . nothing wrong with that.
that's offensive
he didnt say that they copied it or anything like that
It's basically the same thing but I like that it's not a blatant rip off lol
Sorted actually came out with this series before Worth It UK. Sorted did Fish & chips on 18 Sept 17. There's enough room for both of them.
just from the looks, I really dig the cheapest the most. always good to see a classic done properly!
Im going to London in September this year, and having not been since I was really young I needed food suggestions. These videos are awesome, and I can't wait to eat my body weight in the food London has to offer!!
So unfair that you (Mike) didn't allow James to get gnocchi for an additional 50p to his budget! I would have loved to hear how his place did it.
Can you make a outtakes video plz
The Highlander we've done some in the past... Maybe anoyher?
Hahaha, had to wait til near the end but finally a "Lady and the Tramp" moment!! You guys are great!!
I love pasta and i am loving this week on sorted 😍
BEST SANDWICHES IN UK
The Minecraft cow that is a great shout!
SORTEDfood thanks
Argh!! Someone needs to figure out a way to get food through the internet through the screen and into my mouth.
On a different note.. how much like a labradoodle wanting to be pet did Baz look when he rubbed himself on James?
Sooo much. Or like a fluffy cat "Feed me pasta, prrrease!!"
SO ADORABLE! Tbh pasta makes me cuddly, too.
Love this episode guys!
Love these kind of outdoorsy videos. I really enjoy the budget recipes too, like the one where Ben and James had to buy and produce a dish within budget (would love it if the rest of the boys had a Battle with that format).
As for another option for spending comparison, how about something sweet? The two you've made were savory, so maybe something with chocolate or cake? Ice cream would be ideal, also.
Can you do a Vancouver version of this???
While I want that to happen as well, they are Brits, right? So it'll cost them a lot to do it. If they can it'd be super cool.
That'd be so cool if they actually did tho. I'm never gonna stop hoping tho tbh
But is it worth it?
Hey @SORTEDfood! Made your pasta receipe from last sunday and I must say it's absolutely delicious! I'm a student cooking for 1 and now I've got 4 comfy pasta nights in a row :D Love the meatballs especially, they are really light and fluffy. Only comment on that was that my beef mixture was really watery, so I added in breadcrumbs to soak that up.
love your videos guys! keep it up!
CURRY next please.
Is there a reason why they use quid and pound interchangeably at some part? (American and fairly confused)
Also is it bad that I feel as if there's a relationship between James and Mike
Haenah Kim we refer to the English pound as a pound or a quid depending on where your from , it's a slang almost!
It's really no different from calling US dollars "bucks" as in "a buck seventy-five" for 1.75 or "it costs 3 bucks"
quid, pund, pound, spud. Slang for £1
Pound/quid is like dollars/bucks in America. One is just slang that means exactly the same thing.
Also James and Mike.
ah that clarifies things. Thank you!
I admire your friendship so much ❤ God bless you 🤗
Great vid. Loved the dishes, and the appreciation. London is a great place for food . My suggestion is London's best Ma Po Tofu ( my current favourite sichuan dish)
Its crazy the difference between cheap in London and cheap in the countryside of the UK. £6.50 for pasta like that in the country is supppeeerrrr expensive!!!!!
Alycia Taft Its so true! Haha!!
Alycia Taft You cant 😂😂
Bethan Maynard In Birmingham that's quite a bargain!
K8Nena9 haha its so crazy the difference! Paying 10 quid for a fancy pasta dish would be really pushing it here!!!
Where do you live? And how much would a dish of pasta cost? Curious to know... :)
You said you guys read all the comments so here's one:
Love the video and Barry's bonding with all of the pasta. But title is clickbaity much? And the pasta in the picture wasn't even one of the pastas featured in the episode. Other than that. What is the theme for this week. Are you guys even doing the weeks anymore. I loved the structure you guys had and was enjoying the meals you made. I even made some myself. But now not many cooking videos are coming up???? Pls explain as I am confused.
so good! Please do more like this!
thanks guys I love your show
Oh no where's Jamie??? 😟
He's a little busy looking after his new baby at the moment - hopefully he'll be back soon, we're all missing him!
SORTEDfood - Awwww that's cute. Congratulations to him and wish him all the best.
Will do mate, thanks!
Please don't turn into buzzfeed, don't think you will, just saying
I doubt it, they still have the focus on food, not the click bait shit of buzzfeed
BUZZFEED FACT - it's not Sorted.
is it, worth it?
I'm perfectly okay with them doing this kind of thing once and again. So are most people, if you compare views. People like this format. Buzzfeed wasn't even first, just first to popularize it. Just enjoy the video.
I read in Jamie's blogpost from a while ago that they specifically don't like youtube channels out there like Tasty or Buzzfeed, even though he didn't name them specifically. So I'm confident SortedFood won't become anything like buzzfeed
Eateries with the best view.
Wish I discovered you channel before my trip to London a couple of years ago
love your channel, have been watching since you had 40 k followers
