- I looked up "London's Biggest Pub" online, and was surprised to find it was in Waterloo Station, exactly where my train comes into.
It's a Brewdog pub, and I just had to check it out!
I ate their Hoppy Meal, enjoy my honest review!

Hi folks, I hope you enjoy this new video!
I'm gonna be a bit late on comments today, as I am about to drive from. French zoo back to our accommodation 😂
The ketup mountain
9 out of 10
We always enjoy, Greeno 😊
@@GreenoEatsare you in France with the family?
I keep rolling my eyes at the prices, but think I'm coming round to the fact that everything is just way more expensive now. Thanks for the video Greeno 😊
I must be honest I was the same! Everything now is just so expensive….
Eating out is not a cheap endeavour these days
@@GreenoEats agreed Greeno…. Bad enough watching football at League 2 level!
14 tory years, get your credit card ut like thatcher 1980s
I like how they write a massive 'FRIES' on the chip box to aid the punters who are half cut after making good use of the bar.
Ha ha !
hahahaha!!
Great to see you pop up on my CZcams, Greeno. Burger looked OK but I couldn't cope with the tomato sauce. M&S burger relish for me, even if I had to sneak it in myself (which I will be doing at Diddly Squat if I ever get there, despite living only half an hour away (yes, they charge extra for relish on your burger)). The fries looked good but OH MY GOD!! The noise from the bowling would drive me to absolute distraction. Nice light-hearted review and a pleasure to watch.
Yeah it was noisy, not a place to have a relaxing pint or 2 and a natter that's for sure!
Great video Greeno as always, thanks for taking us along. Great to see your subs increasing, long may they continue to do so!
Very kind of you to say so - onwards and upward right !
Thanks for taking us along Greeno.
I'm still left shaking my head with these price, thing is also they're unlikely to come down now.
Yep - think we are stuck with it until such a time they start to get close to going under.
Brew Dog serve quality food. I recall on Monday's they provide special Veggie Burger offers (BEYOND BURGERS). Pre-pandemic really enjoyed office lunches. I note the KETCHUP issue thanks
I will have to try some of their other food then. I heard the wings are decent, but probably not the kind of thing people want to see me eating as they get pretty messy!
That hamburger is huge. Looks yummy. 😃
It was decent, although somewhat spoiled by the vast quantity of overly sweet ketchup
Been there a few times, usually around Christmas, and try to get one of the cubicles upstairs - generally good food and outstanding beers, if those are your style. My all-time go to of theirs is Hazy Jane, ticks every box for me!
Here courtesy of your mate Gary and the curry challenge video. Happy to have subscribed, keep up the awesome reviews and clean presentation style, saying it as it is, nice one!
Thanks so much for the kind words. That was my first draft Hazy Jane and what a delight it was. In cans I actually prefer their guava version - would be good to find that in draft somewhere !
@@GreenoEats my pleasure mate, credit where credit is due. As for the hazy ones, I bought a box of their mixed, including guava and pineapple, I have to admit that for all their pleasantries, I do prefer the original. If you haven’t already tried them, their Post Punk is also a treat. Be good to see you do some beer reviews as well, you clearly have good taste 😉
I love me some ketchup, that amount would make me happy lol. It all looked very tasty, especially the pint! Congrats, you are almost at 9k subs!
The pint was the highlight, delicious. And by the time I saw the message, 9k achieved 🙂
Hi Greeno, hello to you, your good lady and little un .
Take care.
Keep up the fantastic work and content
Thanks for the kind words - I'll pass on your good wishes!
Hi Greeno.
I'm often in London visiting my daughter who lives in North London.
Yes it's massive will have to try this place when I'm next down
Hope you enjoy.
London prices eh.
Thanks another great video.
ANN IN CUMBRIA.XX. 😊😊😊.
London prices do drive me crazy as it sets a benchmark the rest of the south tries to follow !
Good use of the former Waterloo International station, next month in the Sidings a new Wetherspoons will be opening called the Lion and Unicorn.
Yeah, I wonder if that will be as big as the Brewdog?
Your subs are rocketing!! Nice work. 🎉
Thanks very much - exciting times, long may it continue !
The main reason, I would envisage subs 'rocketing' over the last couple of days is due to and thanks to Garyeats channel, where he invited him along to review an Indian meal alongside him. Essentially promoting him and to watch his channel. Hence the reason for a 'rocket'. Al, if you haven't watched his channel, I recommend it to you. I certainly have seen him 'Rocketing' since the inception of his channel - July 2023 with a current sub total of 125k! Not many achieve this. Have a lovely day.
I used to go to a lot of Brewdog pubs & always found the staff really good, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable. Sadly that only makes the way they are treated by the company even more problematic. So I don’t go anymore.
Yeah, I heard about the questionable management practices - not a good look
Very nice looking burger and not too bad of a price for London. What can I say? Another great review ❤
Kind of you to say so !
Getting closer to 10,000 subscribers mate.......... 💚💚💚 🤣
creeping up that way pal !
@@GreenoEats I'm sure that Little'un can't wait.....!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@timspencer3348 Nobody mentions the Greenager very much. That is such a witty word coining.😀
Really enjoying your reviews. Thanks.
Thanks for the kind words !
Hi Greeno, I was waiting for the train at Waterloo and went to the same pub, had a pint of Punk IPA and the same meal as you, the difference is that I ordered it plain with only double cheese, my particular way of testing a burger, it was fine, as you said the fries were fine and the beer was good. So for me it was a 6 out of 10 and I must add when I went, the service was impeccable, that should maybe count for another half a point.
Yeah next time I would order it without the ketchup. You should try the Hazy Jane if you haven't already - it's a lovely pint
@@GreenoEats Whenever I order a burger out I always plan to add whatever I like to it myself. Not crazy about lettuce and tomato as I like to taste the burger and not a salad. Loved you on the Gary Eats video. Hope Gary has recovered by now,
@@steppen10 I heard he’s on the mend, and sticking to korma in the future 🤣
London prices need to go in the bin, but all the stuff you had looks great quality. Pint is gorgeous
The pint was a highlight - glad I got it for £6 rather than £7.95 - London as you say!
Very reasonable review. And a high traffic area, where lots of people will be making a choice - it's useful to know what the experience might be like. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Greeno, looks like a cool location, but the noise from the games would probably be a bit much for me. Burger + fries looked decent enough. I thought they should give you a plate as well to make it a bit easier. I wonder if they are using a US brand ketchup, which tends to be sweeter. Can see you're getting close to 10K subscribers now, which is great. 😊
The box was clearly just a gimmick to be like a McD Happy Meal. The noise was a bit annoying though!
That looked like a really nice burger and beer. The price was a bit eye watering but it is London. The pub itself is too industrial for my taste and the sound in there was not pub like. But, as usual, it's a great review. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words about the review. Not sure it's a pub I'd want as my local, but for a quick pint before catching a train it's decent
GEEEZZZZUUUSSSSSSSS ........... Mate, you've got to be yanking my chain .......$33 Aussie for a freaking piddly cheeseburger and half a fried spud ................ how loud can I shout WTF !!!!
Ha ha, that's London for you!
Hi Greeno
Hope you get my opinion on this clip as the old computer is playing up 'Phaal Challenge' the food here looked ok, and the burger a good size 'Phaal Challenge' there was certainly lots of salad and ketchup on it, in fact i thought a bit to much 'Phaal Challenge' a lot of places let you add your own seasoning these days due to the health lot 'Phaal Challenge'
Your score was more than fair, shame about the noise, 'Phaal Challenge'
Chris.
Ha ha, your computer seems to have the "Gary Eats Virus" that wants to add a little spice to my life!
Oh, Brewdog. They are a vile company and.....well, let's leave it there. I'm normally really positive, ask Gary! Good review anyways and you deserve many more subs and views.
Probably no more vile than any other large multinational company, just doesn't have the budget to cover its tracks.
@@SeraphimLeo Yeah, I just have the first hand experience of caring for female friends abused and assaulted by the filth who run Brewdog. They are utter scum.
BrewDog pubs menu and the layouts have been the same for a number of years now. Beer prices have kind of remained stable really. If I’m honest a good quality pint of craft beer is going to cost you more than £6.
The food for me is too inconsistent these days and I feel they need to update their menu more often to compensate for that
Yeah, I do understand their leadership is somewhat questionable - but if I review Wetherspoons based on their food and not their leadership then I guess it's only fair for me to leave that baggage at the door at Brewdog too.
Probably true that!
Oh my goodness Greno. I can’t get my head around the prices these days. 3/5 is a good score for that. I’d love to try the flavoured beer though. We don’t have anything like that over here. 👍
London pricing certainly.... but the beer was spectacular, highlight of the meal for me!
I’m new to the channel fantastic stuff. food don’t look too bad those brewdog places are popping up everywhere I can’t remember the last time I bought a beer in a pub/resteraunt probably more expensive than the meal these days 😂
Welcome to the channel ! Beer prices are almost prohibitively expensive aren't they - long gone are the days where you could go out with £20 in your pocket, have a proer good night and still have change for a kebab on the way home !
Well that was a very saucy review Greeno
Ba dum tsk ;-)
The Hoppy Meal deal wasn’t bad for a London terminus station but the bowling alley noise is a big no from me. It might be better outside the school holidays. There are a handful of decent pubs within 5 mins of the station so I will probably stick to those Fu or now. Lower Marsh is a good place to find food. Thanks for the review Greeno
Yeah, I have had a pint or two in those pubs around the station while waiting for trains!
Hi Greeno like you say the venue not the best for a relaxing meal but the service looked first class and the beer very refreshing the chips looked the best thing about the meal really but cheaper than Gordon Ramsey’s that’s for sure ….great video keep em coming really enjoyable 👍👍
The service was good - although who knows if it would be the same when the pub is busier - the beer was the highlight, although at nearly £8 a pint you want it to be !
Beer looks good
It was delicious !
Personally, I don't see the attraction of Brew Dog, a good mate of mine raved about it last year, said, mate, you have to try it!! I bought a bottle of the ipa with the blue label, sorry, not sure exactly which brew it was, it was cold and my immediate reaction was, ewww, that is gross !! I think it's an acquired taste and obviously no offence to those that do enjoy it, each to their own. Burger looked nice Greeno. Cheers, Dazz, Leicester.
They do make some interesting beers, and have helped raise awareness of the craft beer scene, which is a good thing. I understand they have some questionable management practices though...
All that packaging is really stupid, for the rubbish only. The fries looks good, and OMG, the beers looks so refreshing ❤
It is a gimmick, but yeah that packaging just to deliver it to the table, and then have to recycle it 30 mins later - bit of a waste isn't it Jessi. The pint was amazing though :-)
Good video Greeno! New to the channel and enjoying it. Have you done any videos in londons chinatown?
Welcome aboard ! Not done anything in Chinatown yet- but maybe next time I am up in London - any recomendations ?
I like your style fella. I’m in.
Welcome aboard Steve !
great review i love the look of that beer, but its what it is burger and chips 🤪🤪
Thanks for the kind words - the beer was a cracker !
I understand when places put burger relish on, but i consider ketchup a personal choice! Great review Greeno.
now relish I could hav lived with - but overly sweet ketchup, that was just too much
Looked better than the Gordon Ramsay burger. The place seems noisy, and I agree about the ketchup .... Beverage looked really good - pricey - but good. I think your score was fair.
The pint was the highlight - absolutely flawless !
"Traffic lights system" is a great addition . . And " out of 5" great idea 👍💐👋🇳🇿🍻
Glad you like it - just felt I needed something to rank things by
Just as you tucked into your IPA the buy me a coffee icon appeared 🤔🤔🤔. Place looks a bit sterile and cold. But they cover all bases. I prefer a proper, old cosy pub. If I get a chance I would partake. Keep up the good er “ work “ 4/5 from me 👍👍👍 That noise would do my brain in !!! 3.5/5
It was noisy ! Maybe the Buy Me A Coffee Icon popped up because it thought I needed a coffee if I was gonna have a few beers lol !
New to the channel Greeno, thanks to seeing you helping Gary on his hot curry challenge. My kind of guy. Good review. London prices wow!

Yeah, noisy even though it wasn't busy... thanks for the kind words :-)
The food looked a lot better than I was expecting. I wouldn’t have been a fan of so much sauce either!
Thats one of my fave brewpunk beers too albeit I’ve never had on draught 😍
Have a good weekend.
Yeah the Hazy Jane on draught was great.
London i find very depressing. I worked there many years ago.. It's changed to the point I no longer recognise it.. never likely to go back as a man of Kent in Wales.. Great video again. Seems expensive. But it looks a good Portion that makes up for the cost..
I like to visit London, but don't think I would like to live or work there - prefer the pace of life in Dorset!
The burger looked fair to middling - sweet ketchup notwithstanding - fair enough.
We clearly disagree on what constitutes a decent pint, mind. It may well have tasted ok but it looked like a urine sample; far too cloudy and yellow.
I love these honest reviews. Great stuff!
I was just thinking the beer looked like one of my epic fails in homemade cider making …I was obviously ahead of my time - and Nick Drake must be revolving in his grave.😮
It's just the way these tropical IPAs come these days - kind of cloudy, a bit soupy - perhaps it helps to cover a multitude of sins 😂
Great review Greeno thanks xx

Evening chap, Gosh that pint looked scrumptious 🍺😋👌 Your burger and fries looked nice enough. £22 seems a little pricey but suppose your in the capital…👍
The pint was the absolutel highlight - delicious !

Hi greeno great review..they would be better off leaving the sauce off and let the customers put their own sauce on if they want it ..
That's a very good point !
Good evening Greeno Eats. Your looking very dapper today i must say. That burger looked , sort of ok, the chips oh dear very meagre amount, not enough to fill the average person for the price. Im glad to see your subs are growing, thats great as your def on a par with Gary eats, you two are better than the average youtuber eaters!! Great video as always look forward to the next one, although i have some to catch up with..
It was an OK meal, although I could have done with less ketchup! Thanks for the kind words too, much appreciated!
I work on the lanes there 😂
Do you? Can you please ask everyone to keep the noise down a bit... Maybe use balls made of foam or something 🤣🤣🤣
I discovered this a few months back and thought their burgers were fantastic. Looking forward to a return visit.
Would have been great with less of that overly sweet ketchup
"Is it a place to come and eat? not really" Well said Greeno. The price would put me off, I thought yuo got two burgers, just shows how out of touch I am with London prices. £8 for a pint, it's joke.
Too noisy, too expensive, not my kind of place. But thanks for letting us see it.
Not the kind of place I'd want as my local - but OK for a quick (expensive) pint before a train journey
Try Leinenkugel Summer Shanty Greeno
If I can get hold of some then I will
Yeah i pretty much agree with you, its London and twice the price and if normal beer price is £8 😮 my goodness! Reminded me a bit like pricey 5 guys!...and yeah noisey like a swimming pool cafe!. Obviously a passable meal but thats all.
Yes - swimming pool cafe vibes (with a more industrial look!)
The last time I bought a pint in a pub I think it was 2 quid 😅Burger looked delicious 😋
Blimey, that must have been in the 90s (if you're down south anyway!)
@@GreenoEats No it was actually near to Wigan in 2015 👍
Hi Greeno, great video. I'm not really a burger person but there were plenty of other dishes to choose from. However the noise coming from the bowling alley would have completely put me off eating there.
COuldn't escape that bowling alley noise anywhere!
I think you needed a plate as the burger was sloppy with too much ketchup (I'm not a fan of ketchup). Too noisy and a bit expensive. Not for me but pleased you enjoyed.
Not the kind of place I would want as my local pub certainly !!
the burger and fries is still a bit pricy. but i guess it is London and there are very few value places
should have put the chips on the other half of bun.
if your a family your not going to get much money back from your weeks wages hehehehe
And it's the kind of place you might take the family too, with a bowling alley in the downstairs !
Hi greeno. Have you tried 7 bone burger yet? I think there is one in Bournemouth. They are great and you choose how you want your burger cooked.
I did indeed, but only for a takeout... czcams.com/video/vc3I4nbiE48/video.html
Tip for zooming on your food so camera can focus. Stretch out arm towards camera with grub in your hand. Put the other hand, spread open, behind the food so the camera doesn't focus on you👍 Mike
Good tip that !
I like a nice beer but i will turn tea total before i would pay £8 a pint.
Yeah, getting beyond a joke isn't it !
Holy smokes that’s a bit step for a pint 💸 even at the meal deal price!...The burger looked ok and I’m the same, I prefer my burger slightly pink but I’m not sure I’d want Tommy K on it though 🤔 nope I’ll save that for the fries. Another interesting venue though 🙌 Greeno

Has the Greenager or indeed your household discovered the band The Warning yet ??
Modern beers do often have that "cloudy" look that would lead to instant rejection of a pint 20 years back!
I did mention The Warning to the Greenager - I will ask her about them later (she is in England, I am in France!)
A good honest review. I hate noise, so it would not be my thing. However, the food and the beer looked good to me!
Appreciate the kind words - it wasn't bad but with all that racket... wouldn't want it to be my local !
Noise wil drive me crazy..couldn't enjoy my meal or beer ...

Very enjoyable review but give me the old traditional pub anyday. Chips looked ok though 😊👍
Yeah, I wouldn't want it as my local
Hello Greeno, still standing? Most of the outta towers fall by the wayside. My son used to be a massive BrewDog fan but due to the word out on the streets. "" be trouble a't coal face and mill. "" So don't get attached to the brand ha ha ha. Speaking of the beer I thought it was a tadge cloudy, and at almost £9 a pint I'd want thunder and lightning 😂😂🍻Any who the foodie bit. Know that the skin on craze is still going strong, Again my opinion is that they looked a bit rough. Now your ketchup burger 😂. Good size portion. Not sure if real cheese works on a burger (so used to the plastic type) I'm old skool, take the salad away. Just cheese, onions (fried) and crispy streaky bacon. The bap/roll a plain white one for me. Brioche or seeded not my cuppa tea. Is it a destination eaterie 🤔? No. A drop in if passing. Price is on a par for London. Stay lucky and see you in the next video Allan&Family
Not a place I'd want as my local, but for a quick pint and a bite to eat before a train, well maybe. I tend to steer clear of the politics (although I have dropped the odd word in about my feelings for Mr. Wetherspoons) so it's fair to say that I am aware of the issues surrounding the management of Brewdog, and am not impressed by them. But I leave that baggage at the door, and focus on the food etc.
Shame there was too much sauce on your burger the cost of a pint and burger is a little on the pricey side. A family outing would be one to consider. Enjoyed the review. Take care.
It's a different kind of pub - espescially with the bowling alley - not one I would want as my local but interesting to try
The burger looked decent, minus the slathering of ketchup.
The venue is way too noisy for me..although London in general tends to be; too many people!
Great review though 😊
This was a noisy pub, in spite of not being that busy - not a place I'd want as my local !
Mr. Magoo would love the packaging! Incredible to have proper salt & pepper grinders in such a large place! The fries & burger looked good, would of disliked the ketchup like you! That beer looked mighty fine!

I'm not sure what Greeno Eats does for a living? ( if it's not You Tube yet) but could have his hair coloured to Green just a thought.
Haha - I could become the Peter Wright of food reviews!
Always ask for the sauce on the side,it doesn’t effect the review,I always have sauce on the side as most often I only like a teaspoon of ketchup on mine, and all restaurants here put ketchup on the table if you are having fries.I wondered why you said you were taking the top off the hamburger to cut the sweetness as you never took a bite out of the top,I thought you were cutting carbs/calories 😂I have seen a few people talking about Brewdog lately, I have seen 6 pks in the stores here, but I never tried it,you had IPA Punk didn’t you? It’s listed as West Coast IPA,at 7:5% here $12 for a 6pk.I think they call them cloudy IPA’s.I not a big drinker, but I do enjoy a nice beer with my dinner occasionally,my go to is the Mexican Mondelo, both the larger, and their dark beer.In ethnic restaurants ( my favorite places to eat) I often get beer from their home country,Japanese has a beer that tastes like banana, very interesting.Hopeing to see you ordering some different foods.😊
The beer I had was called Hazy Jane, it's a tropical IPA, so has lots of fruity flavours
Only thing for me is it really should have been served with a plate. Honestly, at that price, it's the least they could do! But the noise would have been unbearable for me! What a nightmare!
It's a gimmick isn't it - the Happy Meal / Hoppy Meal. But pretty wasteful on the packaging.
The beers just too expensive, in Plymouth they charge about £6.50 for a pint of beer between 4-6%
The strong beers 7%+ are £6.50 for a half pint though!!
The Waterloo one has a slide as well i think!
Overall the beer and food are good though, I just feel they could reduce the prices a little..
Prices a touch on the high side, but that's the location I guess - and yes, it does have a slide - I wonder how many drunken folk have come a cropper !
is it like a mild chilli jam on the burger rather than ketchup
No, there was no chilli kick, just what I assume is their own brand ketchup, which is too sweet !
Nice to see someone who doesn't order Fosters or Carling.😂
I promise you one thing - you will NEVER catch me ordering a Fosters or a Carling ha ha!
