Nice vid! Come to the Philippines sometime! :) I really hope they open a Mang Inasal back in the Uk, it could be the next main thing on evenings out. It’s a huge fast food chain here in the Philippines like Jollibee, but all based on “inasal” which is Filipino aromatic roasted chicken, as well as ihaw-ihaw which is sweet and savoury marinated pork bbq on bamboo skewers, with unlimited rice (attendants literally go around the restaurant with big vats of freshly cooked rice and you just ask them to top you up) for less than probably 5 pounds. Sisig (crispy fatty diced pork on a sizzling plate- typically a drinking food). Empanadas which are like exotic pasties, palabok (which is like a Filipino noodle version of spagbol) plus halo-halo (the Filipino multicoloured sundae crushed ice mixed type dessert with tropical fruits and purple ube ice cream). There needs to be a petition to open a Mang Inasal in the UK. I can see everyone loving it back there

GDK is an American chain. If you’re German you’re aggrieved that they use the word German. I had good experiences in the first year when they opened here. Went back a year later and it was shockingly poor.

Im happy to tip and I do 99% of the time. But it should be my choice. (I get that its London but it just annoys me). I'm sure they can find £12 an hour for the staff with those prices. I saw a review at Clarksons new pub, where the prices were steep, but not really when you consider its all locally grown and reered (£14 for a lamb kebab). Those prices though, are a joke.

come to australia mate, sydney perth, melbourne whatever, $15.00 aud will get you a with the lot, burger with burger, lettuce, onion tomato, beetroot, egg, bacon, sauce, potentially but always available pineapple... maybe $4 to $5 more youll score a coke and chips too. this video disgusted me that something so basic and cheap was sold to you on "ambiance" - try takeout and going to the lake, feed ducks and have a good arvo. jesus this made me angry.

My wife and I were in London a few weeks ago to see the ABBA Voyage show (amazing experience by the way. Pricey but worth every penny. Staggering technology). We stayed at a hotel 2 minutes from Brick Lane and 2 minutes from Aldgate East tube station. I highly recommend it btw. It's called The Corner London City Hotel. Budget but clean and comfortable with a pretty decent buffet brekkie! Makes a change from the chains like Ibis and Holiday Inn. Had a nice cool vibe. Anyway, we walked down Brick Lane in the evening and agree it's a fascinating , vibrant place. Saw the Beigel shops, but didn't try them. The only downside for me was every couple of yards, someone popped put of their restaurant encouraging us to come in and try their wonderful food. They were polite enough and took no for an answer, but I feel like I would like to choose an eatery myself, not to be dragged in!!

James May's pub near me in Wiltshire, and Clarkson's in Burford, are top quality! Ain't it funny how 2 jokers off some car shows can turn out some Top Gear when it comes to food and beer, and yet professional so called 'chefs' such as Ramsay and Rick turn out overpriced junk, by trading off their names! So pub grub beats our 2 con-men chefs restaurants!!

I went to Gordon Ramsay Burger in Las Vegas in 2016 and the burger was just $15. Prices have really skyrocketed. Having said that, I like my meat well done, and they accommodated me, so that's a bummer you weren't able to specify that. Also, the burger I got was seasoned beautifully, so that's unfortunate your food wasn't seasoned.

I had jolibee and i wasnt impressed tbh. I had the spaghetti and there was nasty fatty skin in it. Didnt go back.

Only a British person would whine about lack of salt....while either ignoring or refusing to acknowledge the salt shaker on the table.

Fantastic location and food to match. I'm glad you ordered a salad mains, I don't know why so few youtubers include them. I would much rather have a really good quality salad in summer and see them being reviewed, especially for lunch.

Is bacon in the UK similar to what we would call breakfast ham in the US. In the US you have city or country ham, bacon looks very different. Taking my Mom to Ireland next year but where going to spend a few days in England as well so I am looking forward to having a proper English breakfest.
