1999 Mercedes Benz CLK 320, Battery Going Dead And AC Not Working

The first part of this video is checking for a parasitic draw which turned out to be the trunk light staying on. The second part starting at 10:10 was checking the AC operation.

Back when Mercedes still made great cars. I save and restore old school Benzes and Bimmers and I gotta tell you that this W208 CLK is an amazing machine. The V6 M112 engine and trans are super reliable. The car is super fun to drive. I had one of these with over 400k miles before I sold it to my friend. They don’t make cars like this anymore

I have 4 older Mercedes in the years 88-91. Climate control is always problematic. The diagnostic capability through the dash unit is interesting.

I had a buddy working at mercedes in the early 90's and even then some of their testing was done by just changing parts.
