    This is an Amazing town. Has lovely historic architecture. People are friendly. Enjoyed having ice cream in the afternoon
    edit it was fun at the pizza place lovely timbered building by the water where you can watch them making the pizza.

    how are the rivers in germany, can you swim and drink from them? I'm australian, but in new zealand apparently you can't swim or drink in a lot of them because of the pollution from the dairy industry

      also kind of funny, as a west australian this is considered quite a large town. there is only one city within 1000 kilometers of me this is over 100,000 in population haha.

      Thanks for your interest and question! In general all the rivers are swimmable but not drinkable. The Rhine and the Danube are the busiest rivers and along their course there are several „Strandbad“ aka „River Beach“ where you can swim. Every river in the largest cities, where they are supposed to be more polluted, are swimmable (Munich - Isar, Berlin - Spree, Hamburg - Elbe).
