"God, Allow Me (Please) to Play Music".
This single came after the personnel consisting of three veiled women experienced a bit of intolerance in the environment. Criticism and stigma came and went from all directions and almost made them want to give up on the music scene in 2016.
"The more we try to avoid criticism, distanced himself, it became even more vicious, it provoked us to fight even more outspokenly," VoB vocalist and guitarist Firdda "Marsya" Kurnia said in an official statement.
"We want people listening to this song to be more tolerant of other people.
God does not belong to just one person or a group of people," said Marsya.
"So, everyone has the right to creation, and the responsibility for their creation is given by God," Marsya continued.

Honestly idk why people react to this one first.. they have better originals such as School Revolution, PMS, Kentut Merdeka, Age Oriented, Not Public Property... Or even Rumah Tanah Tak Dijual... So maybe you should see those. Of for live performance please see from Pasiwali Taiwan 2022 And Transmusicales France 2021. Those two have better audio and video quality
Imo, they have better originals than this one, not that this song is bad, it's just they have better ones (also depends on your music taste).
LOL, their band is pure rebel. they dare to be different from the mainstream. that's maybe their band got opposition in their birthplace. the people may not hate the band's personnel, but because their music does not make them comfortable.
you can feel it by yourself. u r admit their skills and songs are good. but have to admit, there is something wedge in their music. they are anti-mainstream. rebel... 😅🤩
So the message in the lyrics of the song is a prayer, a request to God for them to be allowed to make music according to their souls. Because for us parental permission is Allah's permission.
