First up is a video of the sisters performing the original version of Sandman when they were 9, 12, and 14 years old! Second is the album version of their rendition of Sandman for the Blacklist Album. And finally, there is a live version of the Blacklist rendition from a 2022 performance! Every song by The Warning is incredibly well written and performed. These ladies are musical geniuses.
Pau is the new Neil Peart. Not only does she hit the skins with great technique but she also writes the majority of the songs.. They are going to blow up the music business.
Just a note that the first video was posted to CZcams because the file was too big to email. They wanted their grandparents to see how they were progressing with those instruments. All 3 were already playing piano.
Ale, the youngest who could barely hold her bass in the first cover, is 18 y/o now. I think she was 16 y/o when the official music video for their reimagining of the song was shot and 17 y/o when the live video was shot last summer, but already at 16 she was taller than her two sisters.
Funny you say you were left wanting MORE. They are releasing a new song on Friday (May 12), called MORE. It is another evolution in their style, funky beat, great groove, and catchy hooks. It's clearly a fusion of their multiple influences but definitely targeted at expanding their audience. They are always better live. As good as their studio tracks are, their live performances are TW's trademark. Their interactions with the audience is amazing.

The cover for the Blacklist album is even more impressive, when you consider that they were invited at the last minute and had only a week to re-arrange, collaborate and record with Alessia remotely, since it was the pandemic and they were in Mexico and Alessia was in Canada, then edit, mix and master the song.
There are 50+ covers on the Blacklist album and to me they had by far the best one and considering all the well established artists/band on that album, it is no small feat.
FYI that Gibson Explorer was custom made for Dany and given to her by Lzzy Hale during the tour where they opened for Halestorm.
I have had the privilege of seeing these young ladies perform this song live. It is truly an epic experience!

These ladies are incredibly dedicated to their craft. Skilled and PASSIONATE. Made an iconic song their own style and ROCKED it!
What is even more Amazing. Is the fact that when they got the call to do this project for Metallica’s Blacklist LP. They only had 1 week. To rearrange the song, record it and get it back to Metallica for approval. All while The warning recorded in Mexico and Alessia Cara was recording in Canada.

Writing a whole album in the age of 13 almost single handedly, which had to be corrected by her sisters a bit only, playing the drum and singing in the same time lead,and playing other instruments as well. She is one in the lifetime artist who can compose Melodie’s as her sisters say. If you can com up with other artists name in the rock world who was invited by Metallica anticipated on their album, opening for Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses and invited by Muse on their world tour which already started this month in the age of 21 yrs, because of her genius idea to turn “ sandman “ upside down and being born and raised in Mexico, speaking multiple languages, which sorry to say, no American artist achieved yet. They hardly can speak or spell their own language. So, I think that in short, she can be called a genius even if you didn’t like it or didn’t understand their lyrics which always exceptional even by experts. Sorry but we fans of the Warning are not here just because how good they look, and among them are professors music theory teachers doctors and common people understand the meaning of their songs and understand the warning behind it.

All three of the sisters have now done the prayer part. I was afraid that was going to summon something, but so far so good! Yes, they dragged 'Enter Sandman' into a garage like an old car, rebuilt and refinished everything, souped up the drivetrain, and it's back on the road!
Their 2nd album, _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ is a concept album of love, murder, and insanity. 'Dust to Dust' is the beginning, with the drummer singing lead while drumming, as if the band isn't awesome enough already.

The Warning is dropping a brand new song (May 12). It's an original song that they debut on tour this past weeks. Oh!! One of you guy's mention you wanted *MORE.* Guess what. You're getting *MORE.* The song is called *MORE.* The ladies had two *MORE* outside writers to help them write *MORE.* It's a little *MORE* funkier but still sounds like a Warning song. Here's the biggest clue I'll give you. *MORE* needs *MORE* cowbell. Cause I want *MORE* cowbell.

Time for back stories, First song. Pau (drummer) and Ale (Bass) got annoyed with Dany (guitar) for taking a long time in front of mirror making her mean face. Second song, This was shot in their home town in a Burnt out Vacant Factory. Pau who snag the prayer is very afraid of bugs, any bugs, She said there was so many bugs around her when she did the prayer that she was very uncomfortable with it. Also the last room they played the Metallica Riff in was so hot they could only spend a few mins in it. Took them 4 times to get it. Last one The Gibson she played was given to her by Lzzy Hale from Halestorm. Lzzy came out during their set knelt down and gave Dany the guitar. Was a very touching moment.
9 year old Ale is I believe playing a 3/4 scale bass guitar. And it is still as big as she is. Now she is the tallest of the 3 sisters. Metallica saw 1st version. Kirk Hammett said that the drummer kicks maximum a**. They posted that version for friend and family and it went viral.
For the Blacklist album, Metallica told them to rearrange it, to do whatever they wanted to it. They said that they didn't care if the song was turned upside down or played backwards.
Teatro Metropolitan CDMX is the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City. This is one of 6 songs from that show that they have released so far. the other 5 are Disciple, Money, Choke, Animosity, and 1 of their Spanish language songs called Martirio.
As others have mentioned , the Gibson explorer was a gift from Lzzy Hale. Dany I think usually plays PRS guitars. Ale is a Specter endorsed artist playing a 5 string.

Paulina (Pau = Pow - Drummer) recently said her favorite song to play today is *Enter Sandman.* Of course. The Warning version.

I have not heard the Blacklist album. Simply, who wants to hear 6 different versions of Enter Sandman followed by 7 Sad But True versions. And that's disc one. I agree with you guys. The Warning's version should of been a top hit. It's right up there being one of the best cover songs like *Blinded By the Light* from Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
Ale the bassist has been a Spector Premier bassist since about 14 or 15 years old. The ladies are phenomenal!❤

Incredible moment in rock history.
The Explorer that Lzzy Hale gave Dany wasn't just a backup guitar, it was Lzzy's personal stage guitar, a custom one-off signiture guitar. Dany thought Lzzy had just loaned it to her for the concert, and actually tried to take it back to Lizzy after the concert, and Lzzy had to explain it was a permanent gift given out of respect and appreciation.

I just want to mention “ALESSIA CARA” was the one approached to do ENTER SANDMAN for the blacklist but her PRODUCER also rep’d the WARNING BAND so they created their cover in just a few weeks. The collaboration was EPIC. THE WARNING BAND * VILLARREAL SISTERS are ROCKSTARS and they set the standard for very young rock genre artists. Excellent 🎶💫❤️🔥🙌🏽 Choice. For the Metallica Blacklist album with 53 artist doing their own rendition of a song from the Black Album the question was asked to Alessia Cara if she wanted to contribute on the album and she is on the same agency as TW and someone suggested to Alessia Cara a cooperation with TW. Gentlemen, great call to do all three versions in order to get a feel for how the ladies have progressed in their abilities. They aren't anywhere near done yet when it comes to how far they can go.
I think a 3 pack worked out well for this song so I'm going to suggest another 3 pack for you to consider:
The Warning composed a rock anthem named "Martirio" and they sing it in their native Spanish. You don't need to speak the language to appreciate it, just the music stands on it's own.
However, they wrote some very deep lyrics and the fact that they are singing in Spanish only makes the song more Powerful.

You should do a double reaction for their official music video of Disciple and also the live version from this same concert. The vocals are a duet between the guitarist and the drummer. It will blow your mind. The drummer, Pau, has an amazing voice as well.
18:10 - They re-create a true rock anthem, in front of a full pack (I was there that night) while Danny plays a guitar specially made for her by Lzzy Hale.
This is how great these sisters are.
Metallica’s original concept for the song was as a lullaby, which became a heavy metal anthem. The Warning turned it back into a creepy lullaby while still paying homage to the original. Enjoyed your triple header! 👍😎

The risk they took in taking a rock anthem and breaking it apart was huge but they succeeded in creating a dark and beautiful rendition. Enter Sandman is theirs now. If I hear the original I think of The Warning’s version.
There are five more publicly released from this concert: Animosity, Martirio, Choke, Money, and Disciple. All every bit as good. I've heard another 7 as a mid-level patron; the top tiers have heard the whole concert.

I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Alessia very sweetly puts you to bed, then Dany rouses the troups, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time. I love it.
I have seen them do this live, twice. Once is a small hall with 230 in attendance. Once with 6000. The impact when they play it live is breath-taking.

TW are so talented, can´t write a bad song. I believe they have made sure that at least the lyrics of Enter Sandman are going to live on another couple of decades. The live version is dope, and the video for the BL album is also very good. Dany Pau and Ale have reinvented rock and made it into something vibrant and fun. They are having a great time while they play and the passion makes everything they do so much better. There has never been an all female band like this ever before. And i believe it has to do with that they are sisters and do it as a family. Rock has three new queens, every one in their own domain, and when they work together they create thunder and joy. Awesome reaction fellas !!! This Band (of now Ladies) is impossibly talented !! They are gonna explode in the music industry !! (and they are working on it now as I type) The Explorer was gifted to Dany by Lzzy Hale (who contacted Gibson on the specs to build one for her) in the middle of their set... Dany almost jumped out of Her boots!!! She went to return the guitar to Lzzy later that night and Lzzy told her "No !!! I was fortunate enough to see them last year when the were touring with Halestorm and they are simply amazing live. That Gibson Explorer was a gift from Lazy Hale of Halestorm storm.
What a great idea it was, to put these three performances together in one reaction. I wasn't sure about that at first, but seeing what you have made up out of it, is absolutely satisfying. And the way you have accompanied them, gave your thoughts and showed your appreciation, led me to liking this even more and also brought some tears to my eyes at the end. Although it is a great cover, their songwriting is probably their biggest strength. Lzzy Hale gifted Dany that guitar. I recommend Disciple live at Teatro Metropolitan next. They are best live.

I think how “Iconic” the original is depends on who you are and how old you were when it came out. From what I’ve seen, for people my age who were in high school when Kill ‘em All came out, and were fans of the Cliff Burton thrash era, Enter Sandman is nothing special. It’s just Metallica going mainstream with a very simple but surprisingly catchy (for them) song.
I don’t see the black album as some sacred cow so I have ZERO problem saying that The Warning’s version is better straight up. Far more dynamic, creative and interesting. Probably less commercial too. It’s like an ethereal lullaby from hell

All the songs from Teatro (tay-ah-tro) Metropolitan (the Carnegie Hall of Mexico) CDMX (Cuidad de Mexico or Mexico City) are well performed, well lit, great camera work, great sound recording. The musicians are Daniela (Dany - lead guitar, lead and backing vocals), Paulina (Pau sound like Pow! - drums, lead and backing vocals) and Alejandra (Ale sounds like Ah-lay, bass guitar, backing vocals, occasional lead vocals when Dany gets tired). All three are classically trained pianists. Dany and Ale learned saxophone for high school band but do not play sax in concert. Some of the songs from Teatro are outliers because they have guest artists. For Narcisista, they have Beto Ramos (Pau's drum teacher) play while she goes out front. Normally, Pau sings and plays drums for that one. You should get the translated lyrics for their Spanish songs. They are a very lyric heavy band. Oh, yes, they (the three of them) write their own music. Enter Sandman was their first musical collaboration with Alessia Cara and they had co-writers for More which was written during a ten day session in LA where they worked with a lot of co-writers.

What I love is with a little mixing you an actually have the outtro of the original and the intro to The Warning and Alessia Cara's version actually merge into just one song. It really does work well.

Love these guys since I was 14 the eldest is the same age as me I understand Spanish very well always loved rock so as a young girl to now it’s insane to see them love them wish I could see them one day narcissista is a must watch even if you don’t understand espanol it’s amazihg to see artists like them in their true element comfortable with their own toungue I’m Italian even I sound different when I sing in Italian so

😂 I just saw the second version of enter sandman today and I was blown away by it myself and to watch these three different versions from when they're just kids what they are now it's just been really interesting their agree with you guys their version is just amazing
