I struggle to see how a nascent car company can produce a revolutionary hypercar like this so far from the automotive hubs. Until now, it only happened twice : with Koenigsegg and with Rimac. But neither of these amazing companies is proclaiming their new car will have 3k bhp. And they usually don't hold back on power. So if they pull it off, it's going to be the greatest Greek middle finger to the automotive world, but if they fail, no one will be surprised.

Many Greeks including my self find it hard to believe that chaos is actually a real project for plenty of reasons.
Being a Greek myself I would really love to see this project materialize with all the specs that have been announced. That being said, thinking rationally the chances that we ever going to see this car, are rather slim. At the very best we're going to see it on the roads at some point with downscaled specs probably with an engine from a large car maker. Even then I would be extremely happy.
I don't want to sound pessimistic but I try to be a realist as well, let's hope for the best.

As a fellow Greek, I cant believe that this car even exists lol. I will believe it when i see it in public in front of people for them to witness it.
@@Voskaridis I'm also Greek and I particularly dislike the tendency of the designer to repeat what a great patriot he is, only hiring Greeks and having a team of only 9 people working on this car because "one Greek is worth like ten foreigners" and so on. To me he's trying to capitalize on the nationalistic notions of many Greeks in order to convince them that belief in this project is a question of national pride, turning them into keyboard warriors against anyone who dares to ask obvious questions, like how does a guy go from tuning cars to building the fastest, most technologically advanced car ever. It just seems like a huge red flag for dodgy behavior to me, as if the unbelievable specs and unconvincing design weren't enough.

I'm sure it will be an amazing car if they can actually acheive 3000hp and put that power to the ground, but I can't help but get some Devel Sixteen vibes hahah. Not really a fan of the styling.
I understand your concerns, but Spyros has over 20 Years of experience in this field and holds some dragster records. He still has a long way to go, but I think he is capable to achieve it.
It's a completely different story than Devel Sixteen
The styling is not my cup of tea either. Of all the Ferraris, why emulate the Enzo? To me that was the least appealing design in the last 20 years of Ferrari history. Perhaps there was a functional reason, otherwise I would have looked for inspiration from another model, brand or come up with something unique.

He showed the car today in Greek national television, in 6 months we will know if those numbers will be achieved.
"IF" for Greeks doesn't exist and certainly the problem is not HP capability other than a tyre that could potentially be able to deliver that....

Interesting crankshaft totally different. Years ago I modified my crankshaft to reduce drag. But looking this shaft blow my mind looks awesome. I like the style of car looks like video game car. Awesome channel congrats

I don't know why the crankshaft is so alien-looking and different from everything that came before it. It must be an AI-derived design with emphasis on reducing weight while maintaining strength similar to what Czinger is doing with its car.

Quite strange assembly in the styling/aero package with similar array of anomalies in the drivetrain - a very ambitious project. Well chosen name then, Chaos. Hope they get past the prototype stage… Nice objective report!
Interesting look, it looks like the engine has a decent basis but the figures just seem off. And like you mentioned with the front aero, some of their design choices are a bit iffy.
Can it be that the front wing, just like in F1, flexes with higher speeds allowing more air flow?
I would believe that the front areo would we able to change its angle of attack on the fly

Babi, what he said, very kindly, is that this car seems to be a bit impossible to build unless Panopoulos can make a technological leap in almost all car components, even then, the aerodynamics are looking troubling. Long story short, we are not going to see this car being produced, because the numbers do not stack up.

Well, he managed to squeeze out more than 2000HP from a downsized 1800 4cyl 4G63 Mitsubishi engine, with carbon turbo and carbon pistons setting a new Worldrecord in the 1/4 mile sector. The engine is capable of much over 12000rpm.
The Chaos engine is made of exotic elements. It seems that the data Spyros is announcing are possible. We have to wait.

If I didn't know that this guy is well known for tuning high performance cars, I would think we got ourselves another Devel 16 Story. The fact is, I still think these numbers are just theoretical times that will never be accomplished. Sure those Twin Turbo Lambos do that on dragstrips but you can't do that on a legal road for obvious reasons. Second of all there are no tires in the world that will support this.
So . I know the tuning company he owns started building a turbo Aventador that disappeared from his social. He said the same specs high reving turbo 3000 horse power billet 3d printer pistons etc etc. There was a video of it working too. So my guess is that he is indeed using a lamporghini engine and drivetrain maybe from a huracan . But the info leaking suggest that there isn't much of material yet about this project. Even it's brake calibers.and wheels that where shown , someone leaked info saying it's real but doesn't work at high speeds . The 3dprinted wheels explode from centrifugal forces and stuff. So I guess he searches for investor's

Spyros Panopoulos is cooperating with McLaren. He was creating their tuning programs for their ECUs and also working on some parts for this company as an outsource partner (with his company).
This hypercar was his greatest dream that came true finally.
He worked very hard to accomplish this.

As a Greek I really wish this guy to be able to override all those crazy impossible thinks (laws of phisics) and I have a small hope like we the small nation capable in the past for unthinkable big thinks we can do it this time as well..... The design of the crankshaft looks very weird.. I am not an engineer but why reduce the weight in the crankshaft this way, when you can squeeze the weight you need to the smaller possible size..?

I personally dont think that this car will ever be able to see production, numbers are too good to be true, maybe not impossible but for a brand that simingly came out of nowhere to make such a car sounds like a scam.
Aero looks completely off, that front wing has an unnecessary about of elements and angle and as you said the wing furniture makes absolutely no sense.

That's the extent of his qualifications....all it did was start and idle all Smokey in the video at that. And somehow hes the next enzo Ferrari? I agree with you 100%. He looks like a scammer. I bet at some crucial point, he will cancel the whole project and will blame someone else for the failure of the project. That's a pattern you see quite a lot in Greek businesses.
