In my experience , excessive use of blow dryer makes hair thin , dry , and damaged from tips , so we should use cold setting, and never use hot setting.
I think blow dryer does damage hair irrespective of the times it is used in a week. Slowly but surely it does damage. I'm leaving blow drying for at least a couple of months to see results.

My hair doesn't feel brittle and burnt at the ends( at least not like it used to when I would use the dryer on alternate days). I feel like the overall volume has increased but obviously that is impossible in a span of one month. I think it feels voluminous because I'm not over drying it and stripping the life out of it now. So one way or other it worked. A side note: I had started drinking an ayurvedic tonic called Bhringrajasv two months ago( came to know about it from fittuber) and you won't believe me but I see clear results. I see baby hair on my temples. There aren't many but something is better than zero and it's only been 2 months. I've started using the dryer again however only on the coldest setting and once a week or maybe not at all sometimes. That's it for now. Will keep updating further down the road.
@Rahen Aman I know but like I said, it will never protect your hair 100% so over time you will see damage. You can test it out yourself and see the results but why would you want to go that way knowing what the future holds lol
When I had grown my hair long , i used hair ban in my hair, now my hair become voulmed permanently. This is best way i think,and there was Corona so it was easy to keep long hair(school-college problem 😅). I will keep long hair after versity like Seth Rollins
