Actually, the movie is based on a book series called Guardians of Childhood. Other mythical figures appear in it like Mother Nature, Mother Goose, and yes, even Father Time.
@@wellihavenothingbettertodo9696 Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Wolf Man, Skeletons, Witches & The Headless Horseman are characters that are quite literally a staple in Halloween the same way Santa is for Christmas though. And just like Santa, they're all public Domaine characters so I don't see any reason for one of them not to be used honestly.
I read a fanfiction where Jack is best friends with a girl Cupid, so that would be really fun to see on the big screen. And maybe even the Grim Reaper, but it’s like the Loving Reaper in those little webcomics.
Idea I had: Teenagers around the globe are becoming depressed. So the Man in moon elects a new gaurdian. The group is shocked as an outline of Pitch black appears. The only way for the children to conqeur their depressive state is by creating a relationship with their fears. Forcing the gaurdians to work with their greatest enemy. This would be interesting because it reveals that pitch black is not just the bad guy, but a man who has mastered his fear. Which is potential for a backstory on why fear is important to him. Also we can dig into the psychology of the other characters, revealing their fears and darker traits.
If they do make a sequel I would love to see how they depict the relationship between Jack and the spirits of Summer, Autumn and Spring. They really should make a sequel though! This is their best movie ever and we need more!
The stories that William Joyce wrote are so unique when it comes to adaptations of childhood legends and this movie is one of my favorite animations. I agree it should have gotten a sequel or it’s own series. I would have loved for them to touch on the backstories of North and Bunnymund particularly. Father Time is also a cool character I would have been excited to see.
I’m sure DreamWorks could do it! But Rise of the Guardians cost hundreds of employees their jobs due to the lack of profit and high budget. I’d love to see another movie with these characters! But it has to be reasonable for the workers of DreamWorks-
I would love to see a prequel actually. About The Man In The Moon. Based on the picture book by the author of the novels Rise Of The Guardians is based on-
I really wish Ombric (Father time) and Katherine (mother goose) from the books came in since Katherine in the books is so much of Jacks motive to help the others. Also imagine seeing Santoff Claussen that would’ve been epic
Even if they don’t do sequels they can always do prequels. A mini movie series about how each of them became guardians. And they can use the book sources to help do this of course.
We just need a sequel I mean they tried again but it didn’t make enough money😢 all good things are three so let’s hope they will try again😅 even though it’s a low change
I agree. However surprisingly, the movie itself did not do that good in any way when it was released, causing then to lose 80 million dollars, countint production and everything:/
No seriously, I think this is one of those films that is way more popular now among older people. We would absolutely go to see it alone or now with our children
I always had this theory that pitch wasn’t the main antagonist of this movie. It always felt he was a bit character who was manipulated. Considering the fact that his ability or even how he figured out how to corrupt sandman’s dream sand felt a lot like someone taught him how to do it. Plus I feel like the fear he exhibited in the end when the nightmares went after him wasn’t the fear of the creator losing control of his creation. But that of someone who thought he had control losing control and realizing he screwed up. I think if the movie had an end credits scene where the nightmares dragged pitch to the person who taught him how to control the nightmares could have been this universe’s thanos moment to reveal the true antagonist.
Guys, no matter how much we want a sequel, it won’t happen. They had like 306.9 million but they loat 83 million in the box office. For that reason, sadly, No sequel.
