- Have you ever wondered how the gender of the Tooth Fairy in "Rise of the Guardians" was decided? William Joyce, the author of the book series, "Guardians of Childhood," which inspired the movie, used a coin flip to determine the gender of the Tooth Fairy. In this short video, we'll explore how this random decision-making process led to the creation of one of the most beloved characters in the movie. Plus, we'll discuss how flipping a coin can also be used to make important life decisions.
The tooth fairy is usually depicted as a female anyways, so I didn't really wonder why-
no it’s not
@@circe2258yes it is, wdym
@@theshytaco_7061 no it’s not lol in most media (tv/movie) it’s a guy

“have you ever wondered how the gender for tooth fairy was decided in the movie?”
Me: no.
Me neither, tbf, who would wonder that?
she’s like the only woman in that movie anyways lmao
I always use coin flip for my decisions.
I usually use a spin the wheel lol
If a movie about blue aliens can get a sequel a decade later, this masterpiece can as well
The thing is though that Rise of the Guardians was the number one box office bombs of DreamWorks until Ruby Gillman took that place. It's understand why it flopped in the box office because of the year 2012 where this movie had lots of competitors like The Avengers movie.
The thing about that is that it was already planned. I’ve not heard anything at any point from the director, or any producers or any of the voice actors about a potential sequel. James Cameron straight up told everyone what he was planning several times over the years. He told us he wanted 5 films. The reason he took his sweet time with 2 is because he was actually developing new methods to perfect the visuals to complete his full vision for the movie. He never does films just to do them anymore, and especially not with that particular franchise. This potential sequel has room to fail, not that I would want it to of course, but there’s a difference in an animated sequel from Dreamworks ( who has a slightly better reputations than Disney at the moment), and a passion project from a director that is involved with every aspect of the films he is making from the script, the effects, and the technology used to create those effects. Your talking about a guy who had a full script written for the first film in like 1995 and chose to wait for the technology to catch up to his standards to actually start production and get a cast locked in.
A guardians film would just maybe need the agreement for most of the main cast to come back, and a damn good story, and for me, I’d hope they choose to involve the author of the original book series.
What movie is that?

@@MelianLimGachaVideos The fk is Gillman ..?
honestly no one had ever wondered this question at all
The fact that sandman was also holding a coin
That was an odd way to end the video.. sure, I’ll just ignore my strengths and weaknesses and just flip a coin to decide the rest of my future now, because I can. 😂
We're going Harvey Dent style!
I remember when I first watched this movie, I was six. My immediate thoughts were that Jack Frost and the Tooth Fairy were hot. I think she was my gay awakening 😂
I love the sarcasm at the end. Cos yeah Why would u have to decide. And I love this movie so much. Jack's voice was so good on spanish and english as well.
I didn't wonder but okay
I ship her with Jack
I ship jack with elsa
I’m mean, I guess that’s better than
Jack x Easter Bunny.
@@PoorPurpl who in the world ships those two
@@Jackie76493 some messed up people.
@@Jackie76493 are they in the same universe
How was this a hard decision😂. The tooth fairy is usually depicted as a female and faires are commonly associated with females. Fairy god mother, tinker bell, Maleficent
The real answer was that they were normal
Couldn’t they have just made the Tooth Fairy genderless instead?
Idk why i snip jelsa 😂😂
I always thought a toothfairy is a female.
Kinda a bit of a sausage party otherwise...
There are other female characters in the books. Most notably, Katherine, who grows up to be Mother Goose. There's also Mother Nature, but she's not really a part of the main cast.
@@silversamurai0267she’s in Santa Clause, I’ve forgotten which movie though.
Mother Nature is a pretty cool character in that movie.
I don't know but I hate her jack only belongs to elsa
