This video, originally released on VHS tape in 1990, shows Eddy Ellwood performing 57 bodybuilding exercises with perfect form.
For those of you that do not know Eddy, he is a British world champion bodybuilder and professional Strongman competitor. He is best known for being a 5-time winner of the NABBA Pro Mr Universe contest. He is also a 4-time winner of the England's Strongest Man title, including the IFSA version. To say he knows what he's doing would be an understatement!
The video was later converted from VHS to DVD and then ripped by myself to create this upload. The DVD footage was a direct transfer from VHS, static lines, tape hiss and all! Before uploading I did carry out some restoration work (removing of static, sharpening & enhancing the audio) however I was limited to what I could do without loosing detail.
I would like to thank Eddy for his permission to upload this footage. Also, a very (very) special thank you to his Mother, Cherrie Ellwood, for supplying the DVD.

I trained in Eddies gym for years and he advised me on training and diets and it never steered me wrong
Is this video consistent with advice he gave in real life? What sort of training splits did he advocate
@@Nik2555 a lot of exercises eddy does in this video, he didn’t have me doing but he always said to keep it simple, compound movements etc. He has you training both fast and slow twitching muscles fibers, which does definitely have its positives. I can go into more detail if you’d like?

@@lostsoul3723 won’t believe this but I’ve gone on holiday to Devon and trained in a gym there with an Eddie poster on wall, spoke to owner and he knew him 4 of the machines were machines from eddies gym! Old panatta gear
