      saw the new M4 comp close up last night.. green with blue interior.. was a sweet spec, i never jumped on the front end hate bandwagon ..the front end never bothered me. It’s a good looking car 👍

    I Hate the fact that people often criticize the price of a BMW but never the price of a Porsche. which has very expensive options that shouldn't even be an option ! not to mention their are many things that are superior in a lot of M3s M8s... like Ergonomics, room, Tech ect...
    just my opinion.

      Not to mention the standard features you get with BMW, that are expensive optional add-ons with a Porsche. BMWs give you a LOT more for your money. BMW does rip us off on parts though - but Porsche is even worse.

They think no other car brand is in their territory meanwhile BMW beats everything they make in a straight line expect the 911 which BMW or Mercedes makes nothing to compete it with. They’re a good company but they’re overrated and not any better than any other manufacturer, in my opinion.

    Yeah the grille is unusual, but it is distinctive. The performance figures are on par with 911S while actually able to seat 4.

    Bro. That 1/2 mile mph just caught me off guard. My buddy has one and was able to dip into 8.9x 60-130 stock (G80 M3 Competition, RWD) but I didn’t expect the 1/2 mph to be 150+.... that’s flying upstairs!!! Z06/ZL1/Hellcat territory

    Seeing the amount of power that engine can make on a tune, I don't care what people say about the grill since most people will just be looking at your tail lights. I did wish the M4 had a thicc rear quarters like the M3.
    Definitely trading in the RS3 for the M3Comp xdrive as soon as it's available in Canada. Great video / Cinematography as always.

      The M3 actually has more of a flared fender whereas the M4 is *actually* wide throughout the car. They come in at the same dimension at the widest point, but they get to that dimension in different ways.

    The new BMW’s have been punching above their weight classes! This isn’t even comparable to the C63s or RS5 anymore. This isn’t even the xDrive version.

      Yeah people are laying down 3.06 0-60s in stock xdrive G82s. It's absurdly well engineered. People have referred to an xdrive M3 as essentially a 4-door GTR.

      The C63S is now very old(2015), and was quicker than the F80/2, I'm sure the upcoming new C63S will keep up with the M3/4 Comp.
      The RS cars are frankly behind in every segment at this point, except the monster RS3/TTRS platform; the RS6/7 vs E63S/GT63s/M5 aren’t really competitive in performance.

    My G80 M3 is on a truck headed to my dealer as I type! I was shocked at how good the grill looks in-person. I feel like when shot with a wider angle lens, say 50mm or wider, the front can look much more bulbous and exaggerated than it actually is. And since so many smartphones and gopros shoot at a roughly 24mm equivalent, it's wildly misrepresented.
    Great video, shocked that you put something this well produced as a 2-person team!

    11.70s @ 124.. lol dude thats fast car. Like you said when add mods this car will be over 130 trap. I have driven a couple of these but in the city you dont get the whole show. When you see the grill you deff know its a bmw.

    My manual 19' m4 stock ran low 10's 60-130 stock... with downpipes and a stage 2 OTS BM3 tune i'm running low 8's

    Sold my F80 comp after 10 months. Ride was so damn rough for what I got out of the car. But the engine is the new looks awesome...not so much the looks

    Great vid as usual! Totally disagree on the body shape (as most others) that its better than the F82. New front grill aside, the F82 had almost perfect proportions all around; one of the best looking M cars ever. The G82 is just messed up in so many places... rear qtr panel is so high above the tires almost looks like an X4 back there.

    Beaver teeth work better in dark colors of course. Supposedly crank hub issue has been fixed. Boost is crazy high which makes me wonder about longer term reliability

    It's time to compare newest M3/M4 with m340i. If possible, please provide your opinion about suspension, handling, performance and overall feeling, because many people are thinking to change the car. Is it worth? Thanks 🙏

      @Dimo Gochev It has been some time since i've driven the M340i so it's hard for me to remember the exact feel. But from a suspension and steering standpoint, the M4 is obviously more aggressive. In terms of power, there is no comparison either. You would need a full bolt-on M340i with ethanol to compete straightline-wise. Ultimately, if I were in that boat, I would make the upgrade even though I am against the idea of making trim jumps within the same model line.

    Entry level?? Well maybe the E46 and beyond. Mustang, there's your entry level POS. The grille's if surrounded by BSM are "almost" unnoticeable. What really bugs me is the length/width/weight. Nice production, enjoyed the clip.

    I really appreciate you allowing me to come out and help put this together, although there wasn’t much I could do compared to how much you guys were doing with the cameras, but it was really cool being able to see you guys and hang out, and help wherever I could. I really hope in the future, we could definitely do this again. I know putting everything together with just the two of you is difficult enough, plus the extra help is useful in making a better video in a sense. Anyways, it’s awesome seeing the final product, hopefully next time we don’t get a jumping spider crawling on the gopro lens 😂

    I wonder why you said brake fade is weakest point... all the reviews mentioned how great is the standard steel brake, dont even need to upgrade carbon ceramics. Can you tell more about it...

      @fastanfun We took the car up to 150MPH a few times to push the breaking limits, and when compared to other similar vehicles with steel brakes, it didn't inspire as much confidence as I would have liked.

    Styling is a struggle on the M4 in both generations for me, the M3 always looks way better. Sounds like the car needs a sticker tires (R888R) and the handling would be that much stronger

    The half mile trap seems insane to me, are you testing a different way from the "norm"? A C6 Z06 does mid 8s 60-130, which is quicker than this M4 Comp, but all the stock Z06 runs I've seen are sub 150mph half mile. 0-60s are about the same in the 3.6s range, so I don't think it's a traction difference down low. Does the M4 Comp really pull harder than a C6 Z06 above 130? No shifting required in the Z06 between 130 and 150, so gear change time shouldn't be the issue.

      Yeah that shocked me too. My friend has ran 8.9x 60-130 in his stock M3 comp but I didn’t know it would be trapping 151-152 mph in the half.

      @Robert Komarovsky I am just as surprised as you are with the trap speed results. For reference, it did a little over 124ish in the quarter mile. I have never driven a C6 Z06 in the half mile, but based on my seat time in the M4, it feel like it has a lot of top end and pulls just as hard as the F90 M5. According to my research, the M4 seems to put similar amounts of power to the ground as the C6Z but, the gearing might be a little more aggressive.

      @K S 100%, I never really liked the F80/F82 gen of M3/4. I loved the E46 and E90/92, but the F just didn’t hit the spot for me. The G82 is a much better car IMO.

The transmission and the upshift downshifts are much better then the ZF tho. Ive been thinking of a weekender coupe to buy next summer but I really cant make my mind. I fee like for the g82 price I might aswell go carrera s or m8. Trying to stay under 60-70k tho. Then get a r8 in due time. #respectively

    Disappointing about the harsh ride quality. 90% of the time in a sports car is just following traffic and speed limits same as driving any other vehicle. There's a lot of other options in the fun daily driver category that have good ride quality for the same or less money.

    All BMWs are factory freaks as they grossly under rate hp. Basically the advertised hp is at the wheels not the crank. M4/M3 Comp are much closer to 600 hp then 500.

      @@fzr1000981 what I said was much closer to 600 at the crank, way different then to the wheel…go do the math, 520 to the wheel is well over 550 at the crank so who is 100% right, that would be me. So again what’s your point?

      @@brandonhodnett5420 sigh, you should know claimed/crank numbers are essentially worthless because they aren't measured on a wheel dyno and the drive train losses are highly variable. The S58 makes about 520 on average on a dyno, everything else is guesswork
