Oh and I run an 8th scale 2150kv motor in mine I just had to cut a bit off the shock tower to fit it and I just got a hobbywing ESC with a program card to dial it in.

4 mm doesn’t sound like a lot if you could see the difference when turning at a higher speed! Great vid, can’t wait to see the lake crossing with the x maxx. Can you take the battery hold down plate off?? If you can, you could put Velcro straps on so then you could fit bigger battery’s in

Vance Kaetsu I'm curious about that for sure. It's not really that though. In the states here, Traxxas is a patent troll, and tries to get patents to things which they did not invent, then sue every other rc car company for damages. While the Riggs for the company are solid, that business model is shit, and I hate it.
