xTool M1 Laser Cut Earrings

We have made many medium to large items and we decided to try our hand at making Koa wood earrings using our xTool M1. We are amazed at all we can make with our M1.

This is one of those laser projects where the dark edges are actually an asset, they really set off the designs.

It is scary how much we think alike. I agree with your assessment 100%. I have also learned those dark edges are more often caused by in correct settings and the ability of the laser itself. Instinct makes us want to cut out a piece in one pass and use a too high power setting. We recently tried lower settings and the cuts were very clean and not dark. Lessons learned
