    _________________________
    These agility & skills courses/exercises are designed to help develop the fundamental riding skills of clutch, throttle, brake and active balance by the rider.
    Precise practice in coordinating these techniques can lead to instinctive/reflexive actions by the rider and allow for more precise control of the motorcycle.
    Mastery of these techniques allows the rider to more smoothly transition the bike when cornering as well as being able to react reflexively when encountering unexpected changes in surface traction in off road conditions.
    Depending on your skill level, you may want to make the courses larger to feel more comfortable while you develop these skills.
    Performing these exercises carries a risk of dropping your motorcycle which may result in damage to you or your motorcycle. Always be sure that your bike has the proper crash guards and that you also wear the appropriate protective gear.

      @@advmotoskillz Can you tell me if this 5 meters U-turn can be made with any motorcycle? I train hard with my Tiger 900 Rally pro but I can't do less than 6 meters... Maybe the GS is easier? Moreover, your swaying seems not to be excessive for such a tight U-turn.

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  Před rokem +1

      @@LaurentLombardMusic 😅It comes down to technique..
      Yes, a Tiger can make a 5M U-turn.
      The first few successful 5M turns, at the apex of the turn, it will feel like you and the bike are going to fall to the inside of the turn. Proper counterbalancing posture and being smooth with the friction zone is the secret.
      Take a look at our blog post or some inspiration:

    Не могу понять когда райдер отпускает правую руку (ручку газа) ,чтобы держать верёвку или перекладывать мячик, то мотоцикл работает на холостых или как? (холостые не всегда вывозят). Спасибо

      Да, мотоцикл на холостом ходу. Скорость регулируется с помощью зоны трения. Сцепление включено… сцепление выключено… См. Наше видео с советами по зонам трения мотоциклов ADV.

    So the aim with a few of these exercises is no hand on the throttle but using one handed clutch control. I guess there'll be lots of small clutching to prevent the bike stalling.

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Charlie. Yes, Rope Around A Tree is 100% friction zone with clutch constantly in & out. All of the other exercises have a heavy focus on friction zone control. A great way to practice this technique is actually walking next to the bike letting the clutch in & out without use of the throttle (certainly cover the front brake for safety). In our Elephant Turn Practice video czcams.com/video/gU7SYX-jg2Q/video.html there is an example of this process. Thanks for the great comment...you are right on

      A "foot dab" is when you quickly put a foot down to help clear a technical section or to help regain your balance if you feel you are about to tip over. "Dab" for short... 👍
