The "I love you" so early into relationships kills me every time! The last guy I dated told me he loved me within 6 weeks, and it bothered me so often because from that point, I felt like he was eagerly waiting for me to say it back. I'd known him less than 2 months, I definitely didn't love him! I liked him, or I wouldn't have been dating him, but come on.
He ended up moving far too quickly and I discovered other issues that made us not very compatible, so after 6 months I ended things. But the "love" word early on is a huge red flag in my personal book.
I met my husband online and was head over heels, bat shit crazy in love with him immediately before we even met in person. It was like I had never NOT known him. AND he was in a completely different country...One trip there for me and I brought him here on a K1 fiance visa and we have been happily married for 11 years. It can happen...

@@sarahwales6276 Yes. It wasn't nearly enough time to get to know one another, let alone "fall in love". Maybe some people can love that quickly, but I am not one of those people. Love is built on a deep understanding of one another, trust, etc. I didn't have that for him, and he definitely didn't have that for me. It felt like he was saying it because he thought that's what you're supposed to do when dating, not because he actually felt that way.

Sucks, but nothing to do about it. I'm not particularly pretty myself, 6 feet tall women, with weak chins and glasses aren't rated that high either. But we've all got our possitive points and we make do.
How I see it is there's this beautiful, young girl with one minor easily fixed imperfection and a guy, who doesn't even come close in any way inside or outside. He wants perfection, she wants it not to hurt when he kisses her. It is not a question of having a preference, but of the ultimatum, the manipulative way of getting what he wanted.
