- As part of my channel,I buy and sell cars as a hobby..This a typical New England car that has surface rust underneath on the suspension and oil pan etc..nothing crazy for us New Englanders...lol..but its a fairly reliable car w great looks/handing that matches most sport cars and people love them..Enjoy the video!

I bought my 05 8 years ago....with 32k on the clock. Only put 60k on it in 8 years. 92 k. The car grew on me as Ive had it. It's a great car.

@@1MADZ im a rag top guy ..I still have the 370z roadster in garage ..2 different cars..370 is a bit more room for me..I like the interior ,and love the looks of it..But I also really like the looks of the 350z..better handling and much better exhaust sound! But it is too tight for me w the manual

I still blame myself for not buying a 350z back in 2018. Could have gotten good ones with less then 100k km for 8-9k€ in very good condition. Just 4 years after that I checked again and the same cars suddenly sold for 20k....
Great video. I am planning on buying a 350z. I got my eye on one just like this one, but it's a 2007, 6 speed with 106,000 miles on it. I live in Southern California so I don't have to worry about driving it in the snow. I am very excited about buying one of these bad boys. I've never owned a Nissan before. I'm a Honda and Toyota guy, and I've never owned a convertible car. I'm a little shorter than you, standing at 6'1" so I hope sitting in it is a little more comfy then it was for you. Thanks for the comment and thank you for being positive! I did another 350z convertible 2004 6 speed shortly after ,that was a STUNNING car! Then I bought a 370z roaster 6 speed..I LIKE THAT CAR MUCH BETTER! For an update on this 05,my friend bought and nothing but issues with the top! Sucks because I sold it to him..I had my guys try to fix ie with top switch/module and brake switch..worked 1 time! He then had Nissan look at for a price of $12000.00 to fix the whole thing ..lol..He loves the car still and will have the top down and put it in a car port until it gets too cold and puts it away for winter
I have a 2005 350Z convertable and only problem has been camshaft possition sensors .(che k engine light )Mechanic cleanes as suspectecdirty oil but only short fix .He purchased only genuine replacements (month wait to find ) now as good as new .119k kilometres .My favourite car .My daily drive A108Merc hatchback .Prefer Nissan on sunny days .
2006 gray roadster with beautiful black and gray custom wheels. It was the best car i ever had. So upset I sold it.

@@longho5836 just the driver seat ripping through the leather in the middle after all the years. Everything else perfect.
I have an 06 that I bought new in spring 07. My car is garage kept and only warm weather driven, so it's all like new (47K mi). There is a setting for the power top that moves the back of the passenger seat forward and back again as the top cycles. This is helpful, because you have a visual as to when the cycle ends, and when to release button. Although I've never had an issue with the top stalling just because I released the button too soon.
Recently my friend that bought this 350//The top didnt work..I had my friend change the power switch/one of the computers in the interior near your foot and something else I dont recall..but worked..then it didnt! $600 seem to be for nothing..My friend then took it to Nissan lol..guess how much? $12000.00 ! They didnt want to mess with Im sure..yet the top worked after being there...he has since left the top down and puts it inside a temp pop up garage and will put it away for the winter soon..The 04 that sold after this one(much nicer car! pls watch that video) He called me too! He had a issue but played with it and been working since ..
I just bought a 08 with 50k miles and so far the roadster is amazing.
I sold mine to my friend..the top is acting up big time..he just put it away for the winter(NH) I hope I can help him out in a few months with it..I think thats why the previous owner sold it in the first place..I hate selling a car that ends up w a issue..But I think its a simple solution with a switch ...I am hoping!

Hey, remember me? Last year I was telling you about buying a Z? I got it last year in August and so far I've put a little over 3k miles on it. It's a 2006 350z GT Roadster. It had 70k miles on it when I bought it. After putting 3k miles on it, I hear noises when I shift from 1st to 2nd. And a little bit of the noise while in 3rd gear. After driving the car for a while, I hear less of the noise while shifting. I got on a forum and a lot of people say that it's normal. I wanted to know if you've experienced that with the 2 z's that you had? One person said buy the Motul transmission and differential oil and that should take care of the noise. I don't know much about cars so I thought I would ask you and see if you have any advice for me.
Yes I recall our messages and glad you found what you was looking for! Maybe just do a transmission tune up and it might help that out..are you sure it's the transmission ? Is the exhaust rattling off the body causing it to make a little noise? I dont hear a lot about that issue so I really cant help on this ,beside change the fluid as it might be all original fluid..let me know what happens..enjoy the car otherwise!
@@BaldadonisMike2021 I was doing some more research and I think I need to add more gear box and differential oil. Not transmission fluid. I will try that and let you know if that helps. Other than that issue, I am enjoying the car. Thanks for replying. I'll chat with you later.
I found out what the issue was. I was low on oil. While driving, the oil light came on. I put 5 quarts of oil in and started the car and drove off. No more rattle noises while driving and shifting gears. I had no idea that the car made rattle noises when the car is low on oil. I guess that's the 1st warning before the oil light comes on.@@BaldadonisMike2021

I'm buying a 2006 350z grand touring roadster convertible. My question is, when washing the convertible top, is there a special way to do that? Should I use a certain kind of soap, rag, and drying towel? This will be my first sports car, convertible car and Nisaan car that I've ever owned. I need tips on how to keep the car looking nice without messing anything up.
Is it canvas or vinyl? If canvas/fabric use a horse hair brush( very soft) or use a very self bristle brush and go over it lightly low pressure-use a vacuum as well ..yup..just go easy ..lint brush /tape as well will help get some things over like hair or whatever wont come off with vacuum(I use a portable battery powered one w soft bristle head) Soap you can use your car wash soap -if you get sap on it..that is a bitch! Use lots of rubbing alcohol (very inexpensive for a bottle) and just use a lot of it on a rag when its not in the sun..let to be cool to the touch and just go at several times ,it will eventually come out! RaggTopp is my choice for sealant ..it protects the fabric and gives a darker color so its not looking faded and the water will bead right up!

The regular delivery price to ship to my location is $1,000. I told them that if they can't deliver it for free, then I would buy another 350z that's 30 minutes away. Naturally they wanted to sale the car so they gave me free shipping.

@@hogskins3043 It handles like a bmw 3 series so thats good! Tight for room in the interior but should neb fine..clutch grabs high normally so dont freak out if you stall it few times ..thats how they are! You will love it! See my 04 6 speed video ..its beautiful !

a lot of engines do consume oil..just have to be on top of it..the other 350z video I made ...the previous owner had oil in the back of the front seat ..knowing he had to add oil..are you consuming a lot?

I have an 07 gt 350z replaced the module under passenger seat due to under the tonnaeu cover not getting power at all sadly my 350z soft top doesnt work because of this issue
Dude my buddy bought the car and it the top shit the bed again..took it Nissan $14000 they wanted to charge him lol..I did the switch /module and something else..3 things we did..was early this Spring But it randomly works..I feel like shit I sold him the car..but it runs and drives great!
You did the soft top control module behing the drivers side panel?

You bought one that has 190,000 miles on it? I always wanted to know how the ride with that kind of miles on it. I want to buy one and wasn't sure if I should stay away from the 350z with a lot of miles.
@@hogskins3043 I drive the car everyday and it’s been good to me! Just doing the maintenance and things like that but it’s been fine
I bought mines at 140k it's at 172k I maintain oil change and done regular maintenance like fluid change, spark plugs and it drives nice and tight. Has original manuel trans and shifts well.
Love mine...only thing is the center consol scratches so easy... Any ideas on solutions to this ?
Any interior pieces can be painted - google car interior restoration or something to that effect for your local interior / car detailer - they should help you out - I do have a guy that can do that but the paint chemicals mess w me so I don’t do it- you can also wrap it !
