Beautiful song and message. I knew in my heart that dad loved me for who I was, even though we had differences. At 54, he developed Alzheimers and quickly progressed. I was 19, and we never had an real adult conversation. A few years passed, and when a nurse asked him who I was. He said, "I don't know. He is very nice." I cherish that because he liked me without knowing me. I am so much like him in personality, that I know he taught me well as a kid. I was lucky to have had him.
