Couple things: 4 Queens still doesn’t charge resort fee. If you get the MGM M rewards credit card, you get free parking at all MGM properties nation wide.
4 Queens 🤢🤢
lol I don’t
Rats
@@deandreslaughter7622 I've stayed in worse.
lmaooo this idiot said "mgm nationwide" like that dry ass company even stretches anywhere 😹💀💀💀💀
Thanks for the tips Norma
Good info here. Thanks for sharing.
Those “budget” airlines are so rarely worth it once you add in all the fees.
Good tips thank you.
Love this informative video and collaboration.
Thanks so much for great sharing ❤️❤️ greattng from MACAU
Thanks Bruno!!! Great video!!
Thanks D R! Pop pop its showtime! Haha
This was excellent! Very informative and I got a lot out of this! Thanks! I did get burned once of my 10 times there on that cd scam as I really thought they needed $5 each towards their new rapping music career! The scammers! You just try to be nice and get ripped off in the process! I really think your vids are just excellent thanks! You still cannot comment from the Roku tv and I watch all my You Tube off there so I hopped onto my laptop to post this for ya!
another tip (regarding those bathroom essentials): before going to Target, go down to the front desk and ask if they have whatever it is you need. As you probably paid resort fees, many of the hotels will provide trial size products for free to guests who ask for them. Never pack a toothbrush and toothpaste again.
nice tip!
Great tips Jay! Also, remember that ALL MGM resort properties offer Free parking to their MLife members who are Pearl and higher. CAB 😊
20 years ago, when I was a tourist here? There were no resort fees, and the properties weren't trying to nickel and dime their guests to death. Now those fees have become epidemic all over the country, and Vegas started that trend in 2009.
Thats why i stopped going to vegas from 2016 to 2020. Such a rip off! 😭
Corporations have stopped trying to allocate all their profits through the games themselves and have decided that food, beverage, and overall shopping they can mark up like crazy and get the dollars that way. The resort fee will only go up too, will never come down lol. Pretty soon a "free room" will still cost over 60 bucks cause of resort fees.
Better times
You must mean Las Vegas New Mexico the resort fees been around forever they help offset state income tax
Thanks and great job you guys! Coming to visit LV in 2 weeks from Chicago…been watching all your vlogs to prep b4 going! Cheers!!!!
Great tips Pare! I've fallen victim to a few you mentioned (learning experience)
Thanks pare! I still fall victim to some of these. I paid 12 bucks for parking at PH 🤣
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks!
Great info, definitely more prepared now👍👍
Awesome! Thanks
Great tips. Subscribed!
Thanks Ena W! I appreciate it😀
Thanks Jay, those was really useful.

Awesome job jay keep on going
Yessir!
No problem jay
Jay, you're great!!!!
Youre great Erin!
Thanks for the tip! My trip is in November! I can't wait to go wish it was earlier but friends want to go to. I don't think we'll do clubs not are style. the games I can play all but black jack not a good counter so if I drive everything every were is going to charge me and how are the gentleman's clubs are they easy to get in to? And how's the pawn shops? And the body shop bar? TV thing? Worth it? And dig it ? Sorry to many questions to excited to go
Some of those scams you just cannot escape, for example, the resorts fee even for motels in LV. BTW, the $20 tip advise is very helpful.
Very good info👍
Thanks!
If you fly spirit and are travelling alone don’t pick a seat, let them pick for you and only bring a carry on. That’s how you avoid fees
Thanks!
Thanks Gregory!!
Great tips Jay. Liked that John and Norma were part of the video.
The only scam I have experienced is the ATM which I used once out of desperation. 😂
Thanks! Haha i know how that is. Sometimes youre forced to use that ATM. Lol
I paid $10 once over at Palazzo on the ATM. Not again until I do get a real jackpot.
I'll be in Vegas tomorrow and just checking your channel again.
Going there in January, thanks for the tips!!!
Solid list, Jay! Avoid the hotel convenience stores at all costs. In addition to CVS and Walgreens, the ABC Stores also have great prices on water and drinks, and there are several on the Strip!
Thanks DL Slot Vids! Yup ABC works as well. I prefer stopping by vons or walmart but not all tourists have a car
@@Jaycation also their are 2 ABC stores at the Miracle Mile shops along with some great deals at the eating places
yeah the hotel convenience stores are ass. I needed water after i got sick and ended up paying 4 bucks for it
Yo this intro and the music is a freaking banger bro.
AT 12:53 In your video, where is that at? I've always wanted to go to Vegas and go to one of those pool parties.
But I love the timeshare presentations. It's funny to poke holes in their presentations. And when they get you one on one, the look on their face when you pull out the financial calculator is priceless. At that point ask them if they'd like to keep going or they can just give you the prize or whatever and save their time.
Haha wouldnt even waste my time but if it entertains u go for it!
Norma is our LV queen!
Awesome content, me and three others are planning a trip to vegas in April and can not wait. We have been watching you and the other two youtubers to check on things before we go. im curious on any helpful content on renting the lambos for 24hrs. we are planning on renting two of them.
@Ryan Thompson - re: "renting Lambos" = have you done any research on any search engine? What sort of "helpful content" do you seek?
Thanks
Very informative video, Jay!
What about parking in Planet Hollywood? Isn't that also free if you're staying at another Caesar property?
Thanks! Last time i went to planet hollywood i paid $12 even though i was shopping there. I know mgm properties let u park at any mgm hotel when u are a guest but i cant confirm if caesars does it.
$18 weekdays and $24 weekends at PH.
Made a trip in the fall 2021 flew Southwest out of Dallas. My first two bags were free. One bag was golf clubs no extra charge for skies, golf clubs. No charge for seat line up in a section like A B C according to when you check in online. Then pick any seat when get on board.
Hey Jaycation, glad to see you.
Bill the GOAT! What an honor to have you visit my channel! Happy Holidays my friend.
@@Jaycation Thank you so much.
really enjoyed your video and great to see Norma, she's awesome
Thanks!
We met Norma on our last trip/ check out her videos on cheap eats in Las Vegas / excellent
Norma is awesome! She’s all over anything Vegas related! Check out her CZcams channel, you won’t be disappointed!
I'm kind of skeptical about the "bottled water scam". Let's look at this logically. If you buy bottled water in bulk, you can get it for 10-15 cents a bottle. Sell it for a dollar and you've made a good profit. To do the scam though, you have to pick up the bottles, rinse them out and fill them up from a tap. In terms of time and labour, it makes no sense to fill old bottles with tap water when fresh bottles of water are so cheap.
I'm sure some homeless people that have litterally no money have done it before, but I think in general, it's a wives tail. Though, I always make sure all the bottles are the same brand and their cooler looks sanitary
You’d be surprised, but many homeless people cannot think that far
its 100% profit doing it the other way though. We had some local teenagers have a bottle stand before. Turns out the collected empty bottles and filled them up from a pond with waste in it. People got very sick
Exactly. From vegas, worked on the strip for 8 years, like literally on the strip walking up and down it. No one I know has ever sold tap water in a bottle or purchased a bottle that was already opened. Dude is just theorizing.
thanks
Thank you! We are headed out on Wednesday
Awesome! Have a safe trip and enjoy LV!
what's your opinion of the discount ticket booths on the strip? We've had good luck with them.
hello again from England Jay. Looking forward to this one. Most of them are pretty obvious but a fool and his money are soon parted. Have a great weekend.
Hey Clive! Shout out to your side of the earth! Yeah most are obvious but sometimes people visiting forget! Haha
To add on to knowing the casino game your playing. Avoid all 6:5 blackjack tables, only play the 3:2 tables
Good video also one trick we use when a cocktail server comes by and offers you a comp drink get the free drink and also get a bottle water which they usually have and tip them / also the water is a nice souviner from the club
@Johnny Keane - Better is to REFUSE the alcohol drink, since you need to be SOBER while playing the games. Water = a-ok.
I haven’t been to Vegas in two years and this vid just makes me want to stay home.
Lol
@Donna Lee - heyyyyy ... Bingo !! Stay home indeed ! Who needs the stress, expense of Vegas to ... "have fun."
I always go to CVS or Walgreens for my water or my alcohol. That’s a good tip to know.
I’ve read you now need to be a certain status with ceasars to still get the free parking even for hotel guests. Is this true or is parking still free now for hotel guests? I’m staying at the Linq in February
If you really need an ATM just go into CVS or Walgreens. They have a charge but last time there only 1 or 2 dollars. While there pick up bottled water and liqueur for your room.
The biggest rip offs are the casino games themselves. They're always stacked in the house's favor 😂
Along with rip-off Casinos, there comes other rip offs as well. Some twenty years ago, I bought $5 ice cream with $50 bill at a downtown casino and the bill went into cash register so very fast.., and when I asked for $45 change, I was told it's $5 bill. On the strip, I bought $3 regular size apple with $20 bill, and once again, I was told it's $5 bill, received $2 change. On downtown taxi ride, the driver refused to return $15 change. That was my last trip to Sin City. 😔
Thats why i dont play anymore haha
Yikes!
@@mrsalwaysright6478 'Fleecing tourists' has become a norm in many touristy places/tourist destinations. 😂 😂 😂
@@cmonman85 ''If God did not want them to be sheared, he wouldn't have made them sheep.'' Eli Wallach. The Magnificent Seven.
awesome
Thanks!
Oh wow! I had the bracelet thing happen to me. I was so busy talking to my husband I didn't even see the lady approach and she grabbed my wrist and did it so fast. This is great information about Vegas because we experienced alot of it on our first trip.
Yeah a lot to watch out for on the LV strip!
NEVER engage strangers who approach you in public. ALWAYS react by focusing on valuables as soon as they approach. Ignore them. If they persist, BE EXTREMELY RUDE!!!
Same here…I looked at his ass like he was crazy for touching me🙄😂
They tried to do that to me I said thank you and walked off
Cant you just throw it on the floor and walk off? They are literally trying to scam you lmfao dont be nice to them
The Flamingo does not charge for parking, if you are a paying guest there. I had to get a Customer Service person to update my room key cards.
Frontier Airlines kicked me off a flight to the next day a few hours before departure. I ended up paying extra hotel stay and car rentals.. which end up costing me more than anything else.. the +cost of seating arrangements..never buying a cheap flight
Avelo is another new airline they fly out of smaller airport ie eureka arcata California. Good to know
Nice video, vegas rules.
vegas does rule!
Note : If you're flying in, there is a Wells Fargo ATM at the airport. If you bank with them, easy way to dodge fees if you get your gambling cash in LV.
We were at treasure island and did valet option and it costs $30 .
You can also call your casino host to get in the clubs of the hotel your staying in. It really works if your a higher tier card player of that hotel chain. Caezar’s hotel chain is the best as it dominates on the strip.
LV Hotel workers steal from your room. Don’t leave anything valuable out.
Is the boot/tow scam still going on? I experienced this over 10 years ago, and we plan on renting a car.
The Dream Team back together!
Yessir!
Go over to South Point. Always free to park. A great place.
Vegas hustles !
Don't ever come out here unprepared. Use a debit and gamble with a friend. Keep it practical, folks. Stay safe, folks.
Seriously this one time my friend won 2k on a slot n we got trailed. Gotta stay vigilant 👀
8:17 The Bottle Water Selling thing on the strip is also illegal. Clark County passed an Ordinance banning sale of Water and other things on the Strip in 2012.
WHY IS THE WATER SELLING ILLEGAL BUT THEN THEY ALLOW ALL OF THOSE STREET PERFORMERS TO HANG OUT AROUND THEIR HOTELS TO MAKE MONEY ??? OR ARE THOSE STREET PERFORMERS PAYING SOME KIND OF FEES TO BE ALLOWED TO PERFORM THERE ???
@Cesariojpn actually street performance is protected under freedom of speech buddy. 1rst ammendment to the constitution of the United States. Do some research
@@Chafalota the street performers are supposed to only accept voluntary tips of any amount, never charge fees unless they have a “vendor’s license” and pay sales tax. Unfortunately too many bad apples in cheap prepackaged Party City/Spirit Halloween costumes ruined this with their aggressive panhandling tactics.
I went to Vegas and watch PBR there and there’s a lot of people who scam I didn’t take a picture. This help a lot
Yeah gotta watch for scammers
Yeah it’s a lady that ask you to take a picture for free…then she brings it back trying to sell it to you😂
Regarding #9 and the “$20 trick”, I’ve been using that trick since 2005. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. For those times that it didn’t work, the front desk clerk simply gave it back.
I see it as a better way to get the upgrade. If you ask for the upgrade without giving the $20, you’re implying that you’re not giving the clerk anything for the upgrade. If it were me and you didn’t drop the $20 with your ID/CC, I’d tell you there weren’t any available. If you did include it, I’d be more inclined to try and help you out. Hope that makes sense.
Here’s a tip: don’t give more than $20.
Exactly
Cant you just blatently say "do you have any upgrades? im willing to slip you $20 if you do"?
I never spend much time in my room so what is the point?
Well, there are others that do. And if it gets them a bigger room or a suite for $20, why not?
Worst case scenario, you get the the room you originally booked and your $20 back. Lol
Just wanted to add for the parking if your a Cesar rewards holder and diamond or higher you always get free parking and valet as well on all there hotels .
I go to Vegas quite often Cosmopolitan offers free parking to guests as well as other properties if you have a rewards card. I highly recommend going to CVS or Walgreens off the strip. Strip prices are inflated.
What are those shades? those lens look great!
This is why I do not go to Las Vegas or any place in Nevada.
I'm a frequent visitor to Vegas, but it looks like I have to school you guys. The ATM at Casino Royale is only $3. For those of you who are not familiar with Vegas, Casino Royale is Right next to Harrah's on the Strip.
Tight thumbnail!
No one is selling bottled tap water on the strip, i really wish Vegas vloggers would stop including this on their lists, they buy a large case of water from Costco, add to a cooler and pour ice over the top and sell them individually for $1.
If you insist on including these sellers on the list then you can quite rightly question the possible hygiene levels involved, but don't make up outrageous claims about refilling used bottles with tap water.
We buy the bottled water at ABC and last trip they had 2 for a dollar / also their booze is cheaper
I was there this pst weekend and there were people selling on the bridges bw planet Hollywood and Cosmo
IF THE WATER IS SEALED, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL IT ON THE STREET 🙄🙄🙄
@@austinmejia3210 not sure because I didn’t purchase any
@@austinmejia3210 THEY SHOULD GIVE THEM BUSINESS LICENCE AND CHARGE THEM TAXES SO THEY CAN SELL THE WATER. IT'S VERY CONVENIENT. THE WAY THEY SELL YOU THE WATER AS YOUR WALKING BY AND DON'T HAVE TO GO LOOKING FOR PLACES THAT SELL BOTTLED WATER.
When we went to Vegas, we got a great deal for our flight from Dallas. We shopped around and got a good deal within our budget a great Hotel on the strip, there was a fridge in our room. There was a CVS next to our Hotel, we
purchased bottled water, beer and a bottle of scotch there. We purchased a 24 hour pass to their great buffet with drinks and wine included. We liked it and just kept re-purchasing it for our entire stay. Food was fresh, good quality and great selection. This kept us away from junk food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. If you buy it at dinner time, you get dinner fir that night and breakfast, lunch and dinner the next day before it expires. This was all before pre-covid. I think there are more hidden fees etc., now. We gambled on Fremont St. where it was cheaper to gamble and buy souvenirs. We did pay to be transported to and from hotel from and to the airport. We bought the tickets for the bus that goes to Freemont St. and other hotels. I all worked well for us and we didn't feel scammed or anything. Best thing to do is look for deals within your budget and call the hotel ahead of time and ask questions about wi-fi, resort fees and if there buffet, pool and gym is open etc., etc., Airlines have all kinds of hidden fees now. Check carefully before booking your flight.
Wow, this makes me never want to go
If performers are on public street
You legally can record take pictures and not give them nothing 👍🏻
Exactly. I knew this as far back as 2007, when I first did it in Times Square, NYC, then in 2008 when I moved to Las Vegas, and then on the Walk Of Fame in Los Angeles when I moved back there about a year later.
Harrah's has free parking if you're staying there as well.
Ugh we didnt know about the timeshare and we ended up falln for it. Had issues since day 1 and they never helped us fox the issue but kept wanting to charge the money. So annoying! I kept telln my husband not to sign because to me i saw it was just like a freakn membership. U have to pay thousands for a place on top of after finishn payn u have to keep payn? But u only get 2 weeks of the place once or twice a yr? Bs! But they kept pushn n pushn n my hubby gave in. It was our 1st or 2nd time in vegas. Nvr again! Then when i call them out on their fb they block me from commenting.
Those rip off artists must LOVE you!! lol When you're in Vegas, watch your back, Jay!! Cheers!! :)
Lol i didnt say anything bad about them in fact i said if u take a picture and u like it. Then tip them! Haha
@@Jaycation Yeah, Jay, I was just being goofy...you're all good, mate! Cheers! :)
Resort fees that you mention--- are charged per night or for the whole stay!
@Chela - is that a question, or a statement ?!? If a question, plan or "per night," or ask the question on any search engine.
At some places it is per hour.
Free to park at Binions if you get validated. You just have to gamble there for a little while.
In Cali casino ATM $20 fee
No timestamps?
is it cheaper to get a cab from the airport and have them take the las vegas expressway or local roads to get to the strip?
Taxis from the airport have set rates now depending on what part of the strip. So they cant rip people off any longer for long hauling.
If you gamble... get a players card. If you get Diamond status with the Caesars card you get free parking, resort fees are waived if you book direct w hotel, free valet if you reach Diamond Elite and many other perks. Plus many other casinos will status match.... including MGM and Golden Entertainment and then you will get their perks as well.
As a lv street performer I do appreciate tips and no I don’t put a price tags on it
Don't ever get a drink from the mini bar. A Can of soda is $15, large bottle water are $25
How much does JANET Airlines charge?
Best hotel for the value is Silver Sevens. Best bed and some of the best food in Vegas
The BIG BUS TOURS night tour scam is that when you buy tickets ahead of time, you aren't guaranteed a seat. The website says to arrive 15-20 mins ahead to have your choice of seat, but doesn't say that you potentially could NOT get a seat. We arrived an hour before the bus was to arrive an there was ZERO chance of a seat. Wasted $100 on it.
Norma is a scene stealer
Mgm Mlife and Caesars both have free credit cards which will bump up your Players Card to level that provides free parking. This is kind of essential if you don't gamble yet come to Vegas often with a car.
Come to Walgreens ATM fees are 3.50
RESORT FEES, I’ve been gambling since the 90s. I refuse to pay for this new scam. I stay downtown free, from my gambling points. El Cortez. The D & Golden Gate are my regular casinos. The rental car, airport shuttles are a scam. The D has rental cars ready to go on site,
I gotta stay at the D sometime!
I wouldn't call an ATM fee a "scam"
Another tip for airlines, Allegiant has free checked bags and carry ons for veterans. This will save a good chunk of money. especially since they allow you 2 free checked bags up to 100 pounds! All you have to have is proof of service such as a DD214 or having the veteran stamp on your drivers license.
I bought show tickets from Craiglist - a pretty good deal and i sat in the front row
