    Stuff we use:
LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
    AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/2t1n2hx
Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/2tbFlM9
LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv
COMPUTER - Our favorite computer, we each have one and have used various models since 2010 - amzn.to/2t1M67Z
EDITING - We upgraded our editing suite this year and we’re glad we did! This has improved our workflow and the quality of our work. Having new software also helps when we have a problem, it’s easy to search and find a solution - goo.gl/56LnpM

Geez, his voice is so alluring, I'm missing the message.
I could listen to him talk all day.
    Hope he's a Professor.

Thank you once again it is so great to see what happens behind the scenes. This once again shows how important pre-production is and this also shows that pre-production starts at the script writing and continues write up to the first shot is filmed.

Great experience speaking to Film Courage, glad everyone is enjoying it. By the way I’ve commented using my World One TV account, hope it wasn’t confusing.

I am in the thick of pre-production for only a second time; a self-funded proof of concept. I could relate to so much of this and heartened to know I seem to be doing and thinking about the right things.

seriously though, this industry is full of people who like to play at making movies. People more concerned with optics than the actual work. Sean is the real deal.

Sean Reid flow of words and sound of throat seems like sea waves rising and falling incessantly.
Super voice I want to try and imitate.
More the 360 degree reviews, more value creation is possible by getting a chance to correct hidden errors and to identify golden idea from after thought.
Many times' 360 degree review is a great control to follow. I fail to do due to impatience and errors go live.
Thanks Film courage for this very useful presentation as always

@@filmcourage I have found tremendous value in pretty much anything FC has posted. My current battle is to actually live up to the name by overcoming my lack thereof.

@@garytucker3563 Our best to you Gary. Maybe start by reducing your goal? If you want to write a short film, instead focus on simply writing one scene. Whatever your goal is try to work on one small piece of that goal. Start small and keep at it and you will build confidence in what you are doing.

@@filmcourage Thank you for the advice. And from the steps I've already taken that basically coincides w/ what you just suggested, I've done some of the right things. Looking at my plight objectively, I could really use some guidance from industry mentors to better steer my efforts towards the desired goals I have for myself. But everyone I find always wants a pricey commitment that I can't afford.
