marc audio, the only manufacture that shares build plans. finally someone who know how their own product works. i know it is personal preference. but so is a cooking recipe and yet they manage to give the details to get you close. and marc audio shows you some examples of others flavors that will fit the driver. from the basic bass reflex box or to a loaded TL. look forward to trying them out.
I have fitted this driver to my PMC FB1 TL cabinets. They sound fantastic. Best these big boxes have ever sounded. I have had these cabs for 20 years. Never better. Much better than the Alpair MS. Thanks.
Will the driver get damaged if it’s used a home theatre configuration till 80hz I thought it’s delicate and cannot blast it. Of course I will be supporting below 80 with a sub
One can get a lot of bass out of a 1mm xmax driver, you just gotta know how to do that: czcams.com/video/hIwZjJanXag/video.html Driver, enclosure and then proper positioning within its respective listening environment. But Mark Audio offers better overall performance than other brands IMO. Just a great company, churning out get drivers.
cost per unit. making 1000 will be cheaper then 4x250 per driver. but i agree black would be best, but then you need to anodize it rather then raw alu. sooo cost.

I don’t wish to use a tweeter can it do a fullrange even 80-14k is enough. Also can I use it without passive crossover
I wonder how this would work for an Atmos overhead speaker in a small home theater?
good enough :)
