I appreciate them switching it up and they went fast, still available on resale platforms for just over $300....so did I explore that option to start off June with a #jordan1 ?

It's a great looking TS Jordan 1 Low in a fun colorway that no doubt coordinates well with my fav NBA team, but these student loans are still a HEAVY focus for me in 2024 so the money that could have gone towards this pair went to the principal of my 3rd to last loan.

I love your emphasis on that managing priorities and opportunities is a dynamic and not static strategy. I'm expecting a strong need to be more and more pro-active at my age, as I'm finally returning to my technician job and I've successfully finished my engineering diploma! I also need to highlight and thank you the talking about the connection between your Elkins High jersey and the Travis Scott Lows matching colour-way. Coloured wardrobes for me are a slippery slope.
I absolutely love running vibrant and pastel colours in my closet and always will put them in my outfits. What seems like a harmless pleasure can turn into a financial rabbit hole to justify pieces that have inherently uncommon colour ways. I continuously remind myself what you've mentioned about clearly defining what's "enough" and having a circle that keeps you accountable, rather than be lead by the FOMO belief of "you won't find this colour again!" (When in reality, you always find a way.)
It wasn't always dynamic for me and it also didn't feel sustainable when it was a static approach. Congrats on going back for your engineering diploma, all of the hard work will pay off. Oh just to be clear the shoes represent Elkins High, the jersey is just the Warriors.
An accountable circle is key and a gem. FOMO gets me sometimes too and I have to take a deep breath and say, if it's still there in a week or more, then maybe. If it's not, I'll still live.

I believe "Womens Exclusive" started as a failsafe. When a shoe is cut a little too narrow, It may be cheaper to go this route rather than scrap a shoe that was almost through the production process!!!

And indeed I do, which is where it will stay, in my savings for an actual emergency as paying down low interest debt is not a life emergency
@@TalksWithTJ Savings are not just emergency fund. You save your emergency fund for only life emergency for sure that's great. But if you also have some other cash lying around, you should just pay it off. I don't think 6% debt is so low as most savings interest rate is lower than that.
And that is indeed your opinion to have on how you would handle debt. I will continue to address it how I plan to with many other things in play that you as a viewer are not privy too because it has not been disclosed.
