    I have a FGFLMC55ECA with the mini oven on the bottom. Was on NG, converting to LP. It appears both the broiler and the oven have a fixed orifice as both are already screwed all the way in.

    • @rontaylor5268
      @rontaylor5268 Před rokem

      An orange flame means a rich fuel to air mixture (to much fuel for the amount of air). Try opening the shutter to increase air to flame. If that doesn't work you need to turn down the fuel supply, which can be achieved by changing to a smaller orifice or by adjusting the orifice.

    • @TheKarmaMan

      I’d try turning the orifice spuds down toward the valve more. My range omitted any instructions about turning in the spuds. It only talked about adjusting the shutters following a NG to LP conversion. My flames were ridiculously huge, shooting out through the slots in the oven bottom and up the sides of the oven. Some range oven conversions use a changeable orifice like on the stove top burners. Mine apparently requires the spud to be turned in to reduce the orifice size.

      @@janicebarrera2347 I think I have this figured out, and maybe someone else has mentioned it in the comments already, but I didn't come across it, so here is what I have learned: There is no additional orifice for the oven. Page 11 of the instruction manual details how you adjust the flame in the oven, both the top of the oven and the bottom. Basically, it goes like this - you turn the oven on broil and see how big/small the flame is. You can adjust the amount of oxygen allowed in to adjust the flame. There is a small screw on the top burner, and on mine, it is painted purple. This allows you to loosen the mechanism to allow more or less oxygen and adjust the flame. The bottom one requires you to take a few pieces out to visualize the flame. The adjustment is made by taking the drawer out and the screw/orifice mechanism is in the back. I haven't tested this out because I don't have the propane hooked up yet. I did finally find a video demonstrating this. I'll post it here as well.
