- Kate, the Princess of Wales, was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy, she said in a video message released Friday, two months after she underwent "major" abdominal surgery. The type of cancer has not been disclosed. According to Kensington Palace, Kate started a course of preventative chemotherapy in late February. The announcement sparked an outpouring of support and comes as Kate's father-in-law, King Charles III, also undergoes cancer treatment.

This "Royalty " seems more like a burden than a prize. Meghan and Harry are well out if it.
I don't care for Harry & Meghan but I agree with you. I don't think he wants to be King anymore or back on Royal duty after being out for so long. Harry of all people would understand the reality of being a royal. It's not that great. The titles sound great but that's where it ends.
There are rules to the lineage to the throne and Harry is not next in line...its the 3 kids before him...he cannot skip the queue....if Will abdicates next in line is George, then Charlotte then Louis THEN Harry. A Regents council would be appointed if they are not of age until one of them becomes of age...Harry will never be King.

@@Back2Me365 she seems to be talking about the fake rumor that Charles asked Harry to be regent on his visit to the UK. It's not true, but people are already biased against the royals so somethings are pointless to explain. As regency laws go, Harry can still become regent and so can Andrew too 😭 lol I don't like Harry, but I prefer him to Andrew. I'm hoping they change the regency rules so none of this will be a problem.

Another example that things are not always as they seem. I remember when she married him, the narrative was touted that she was an ordinary undeserving commoner who married a fairytale perfect prince and was living the dream. A lot of evil lurks behind the doors of that palace.
I wonder why her husband wouldn't be in the video with her when she is clearly vulnerable and being made to expose her private medical business to the world. Your loved one has cancer and you let them face the world alone, with no unity, no compassion, hell, on hand holding, no encouraging words or support. 😢 that's weird 😕

I don’t understand why they would allow her to make such a devastating announcement by herself why not put forth a united front with the future King; why wouldn’t he demand to be there with her even if she didn’t want him there;even if they are not on good terms I believe they are separated and live separate lives

I was actually about to make this same point of correction.
Harry is 5th in line to the throne so in reality, it's impossible for him to ascend the throne in his lifetime due to too many people to bypass.
Technically, for him to be king, William, George, Charlotte & Louis have to go 1st.
Unless he becomes a Regent due to the age of Prince George or any of Williams' & Kate's kids i.e. if under 18yrs old at the time.

Parliament will never allow Harry to head the British royal family. It's a business and ruthless. You can't quit, leave, and come back in place. Plus the books Harry authored. And besides William and his children, they have numerous cousins who would be suitable as monarch.
Sad she had to make the announcement alone, she is stronger than she knows just by breaking this news alone to the world.

I could not believe Kate had to speak to the entire world alone. The least William could have done was sit with his wife and pretend to care.
IKR. If it's true they aren't getting along, he just didn't care enough to be there. Ppl said the same about the mother's day situation, he didn't try to defend her or even put out a statement from Windsor Castle, he just left her out there to fend off the wolves alone. Its sad really.

I think it was a shame the way they hounded her, and she finally had to come out and say what was wrong and I think they're going to continue hounding her cuz the British press is worse than the US press they are relentless until they find out what kind of cancer she actually has😢

I think it would have been a beautiful thing if William had sat next to her while she talked about her cancer. I don’t care how strong a woman is there is just that moment when she needs the emotional support of her loving husband. She did mention that she has his support but she could have been instructed to say that. I believe William wants to divorce her but he can’t find a soft way out. Maybe he wants her to leave. She won’t leave her children behind and he may not want her in his children’s lives. Sad all around.
She can leave her marriage if she wants to and get a settlement like Diana, however she wants to be Queen.
After reading some of the comments some of the people of the UK are simple upset with Harry for marring Meghan 😮
I can’t handle those two but I hope Kate gets better. I was really into her and Will’s marriage at the beginning but I don’t have any interest in Harry or Meghan.

I agree with you,Harry could be king one day, but there would be a lot of abdications and or deaths for that to happen. Harry is fifth in line to the throne, so if William does not become king after King Charles for whatever reason, his son would be next in line, and then his daughter and then his last son. If Prince William were to abdicate, if his son is too young to ascend to the throne, I think they may have a consort to take over until he is of age. I’m not too sure about the royal protocol for that, but I don’t think it would be Harry.

@@Theangelsmustbelaughing Prince Harry could become regent to King George when he becomes king. But he will not be king in his place, he would only be regent taking on the royal duties of the king until King George is old enough. Also to be regent he would have to be fully resident in the UK

His specific cancer is still undisclosed. But the New York Times did report that a palace official stated it is not prostate cancer. Rather it's some other cancer discovered during treatment for an enlarged prostate.
So enjoyed this MVMO ❤. What will be, WILL BE. The divisiveness I see online of the them (Wales’s) vs (Sussex’s) vs (their king Charles) is truly something. In Catherine’s video of her sharing her health issue, I saw a very lonely person. Her husband could not be seated beside her while she shared such awful news. Why, I thought if it’s such a healthy marriage. Harry (and his bride Meghan) ran away from his homeland and that establishment because he saw danger and his people hate him (and Meghan even more) for that. We shall see what becomes from here. ⚠️
WoW listening to this commentary regarding Kate it’s like history repeating its self with Princess Diana. Even-though Princess Diana tragically passed away what she went through with Charles seems to be eerily repeating its self with William. Goes back to the seeds we plant….. It appears that Princess Diana had the courage to walk away for herself and her children.

I learned a lot from your commentary. 1. Everything in God's time and not ours. 2. He gives us warnings and it's up to us to take those warnings. If Kate saw the Prince's behaviour and still desired to be queen, then she has to live with the consequences. That could have been her get out card. And another thing I have learned is that all of these royal people were supposedly Blue Blood and superior. But for centuries, they have been dying from common ailments just like everyone. That means we are all human and fall short in the eyes of God. So don't let no one tell you that they are better than you. And you are totally right about the treatment of H & M. Look at how they want you to leave Kate alone but hounded Meghan. I especially see some hate towards Meghan from British aristocrats and that's why I love when mostly black countries break away from the monarchy.
I do not believe that kate has cancer. I heard her say, 'no cancer was discovered', but is undergoing chemo as a preventative measure against getting cancer. I believe her surgery was a result of her eating disorder that cause her stomach issues or, it was a hysterectomy. Whatever is going with her, i think it also could be mental. I hope she recovers from whatever ills her, but i have no sympathy for her. She participated in the abuse of meghan and harry so i think shes getting back what she sowed. People hate meghan due to racism, plain and simple. Harry persued her. Meghan did nothing wrong to those people. Harry was pushed out for fear of losing his life so also did nothing wrong. Harry wrote a book about his experiences because uk media and brf sought to destry him and his family. There have been many books written about harry. The news stations interrupted programming for her announcement and she looked like she’s having a rough time. And you’re right - if it’s supposed to happen, it will!

Just my own thoughts. The current monarchy situation is rather chaotic. The dissemination of falsehoods and deceit has resulted in a state of complete disarray. Harry and Meagan faced profound animosity and malevolence, which allegedly implicated William and Kate. This represents a paradigm shift in the concept of reciprocity; in other words, Karma is a B----!

I don’t believe the video is real. I also, believe that something really bad is going to happen soon. I read “The Spare” and knowing so much firsthand information. I can now see the people wanting Harry to represent the Monarchy due to him proving he’s a stand up guy who has great character and respect for himself, his wife and children. The thing about lying is it’s hard to be believe the truth when it’s told. Doctoring up the picture she released to the press was not smart at all. Anywho, I believe she had a hysterectomy based on the amount of time she was hospitalized. Which may have been cause by her husbands outside sexual escapades. I absolutely agree with, what’s meant to be, will be. I don’t usually follow what goes on in the very raciest royal family, but I found this interesting to say the least.
And Harry and Meghan may have been kicked out. They had no choice but to kick them out! We all know that. They wanted to do things their way. You cannot do what you want in this family. Kate did not "sick" the tabloid on Meghan and Harry. When Meghan started making her staff cry, the staff went to the media. Harry blamed his brother for sympathy. Kate has been through media abuse for 20 yrs after it was revealed she was dating prince william. I hate that Meghan and Harry have spread so much misinformation about her. Charles was the one who talked about Archie's skin color and that author Omid scobie said Kate and Charles had "unconscious bias" conversations. He never specifies so nobody can can say what she even said. That author also hates Catherine so who knows if any of that is even real.
