I just broke up with my girlfriend after a four year relationship and all my family members go straight to "so are you gonna try to find a man now?" even though they adored my ex-girlfriend and expected us to get married. My parents even said that they saw her as a second daughter. Yet even they are right back to "so, men now?". People are so hung up on putting you in a box, and preferably the box they choose for you.

When I was younger I used to think that Kristine Stewart looked really uncomfortable and awkward in interviews and now that I know she was hiding her sexuality makes me feel bad that she felt she couldn't be herself in the height of her career.

don't ask children if they're gay until you are 100% sure they have figured it out for themselves, which many probably haven't yet if they're under 16. I'm a teacher, I can see all the gays - girls and boys - in every class room. Do I ask the kids - hell NO! They're 9,10, 11 years of age! They don't know yet, especially if they're young. Be careful, be kind to them.

Howard is a great interviewer but he usually crosses the line with some of his guests, over shadowing his unique skill to do really deep interesting interviews... I love the fact that he speaks to Kristen as an equal and has a lot of respect for her doesn’t fool around with her; also because Kristen doesn’t allow him to be anything different than the best he can be interviewing her. She dignifies and elevates him a lot. A few rare people like Kristen have that capability to bring out the best in us.
Very interesting symbiosis between these to... would like to watch more.

She's been always smart and funny and talked a lot about serious thing on interviews but people were to busy trying to pull out something polemic from her to sell megazines and stuff to realize how amazing she was. I'm glad that people are finally taking her serious now and that she's happy where she is. Plato: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
Sun Tzu: “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
Heraclitus: "Disease makes health pleasant and good, as does hunger satiety and weariness rest.
    "
Hegel: “The bud disappears when the blossom breaks through, and we might say that the former is refuted by the latter; in the same way when the fruit comes, the blossom may be explained to be a false form of the plant’s existence, for the fruit appears as its true nature in place of the blossom. The ceaseless activity of their own inherent nature makes these stages moments of an organic unity, where they not merely do not contradict one another, but where one is as necessary as the other; and constitutes thereby the life of the whole.”
Alex Kierkegaard: Every lifeform in the universe contributes, to some extent or other, in the universe's being exactly the way it is. This means that, if even a single lifeform did not want the universe to be exactly how it is, it would have acted in some way at least slightly differently to how it has acted, and as a result the universe would be at least a little different to what it actually is.
The universe's being exactly the way it is PROVES that every lifeform in the universe WANTS it to be exactly the way it is.
"And what about all those lifeforms whining that plenty of things in their lives and the universe are not what they want them to be?"
Lifeforms that whine are weak, and hence not very intelligent. And lack of intelligence causes lack of understanding, including, and above all, self-understanding. Therefore whining is proof of nothing besides weakness, and certainly shouldn't be taken literally. Maybe those whining like whining? Have you ever thought about that? Maybe they simply enjoy it too much to let it go and actually try to achieve the things they are merely saying they want to achieve?
Ponder that for a moment. I know you have questions on this, and I'll get to them eventually, but in the meantime let this idea seep into your mind and marinate there for a while. As a result, you'll be that much readier to grasp the detailed, and earth-shatteringly radical, explanations when the time comes for them.
The mechanics of blame/rationality. When we point the blame towards someone or something for a state of things, it's always with a view towards future action that reshapes this state of things. The blame itself is never literal, never real, it's merely a useful fiction, a mere tool, because in a universe where everything is connected to and conditioned by everything else there's never anyone to blame for anything; rather, EVERYONE is to "blame" for EVERYTHING, everywhere and at all times. That's what chaos theory expresses with the example of a butterfly flapping its wings contributing to a cyclone forming on the other side of the planet. Therefore, to say it once again, blame/rationality is never real, it's ALWAYS FALSE.
You will always find "the universe" as the ultimate culprit in the existence of any given state of things, because that's where the rabbit hole always leads if you dig deep enough. Of course, only a philosopher can dig that deep, so no one else ever comes to this realization. But now that I've explained it to you dimwits in plain language, maybe a few of you will get it, and be able to discover it and explain it to others next time they tell you that the Jews or some other poor scapegoat is ULTIMATELY responsible for some state of things or other.
NO ONE is "ultimately" responsible for ANYTHING. And though taking responsibility for something is as false as blaming it on someone else, that is the falsity that belongs to the strong just as surely as the neverending blame game, with no action involved to move things forward, is the type of falsity that belongs to the weak.
Ultimately, the only thing that matters to the strong is their goal. I need to decide where to use my force in order to effect change. That is why I need to "blame" something; in more neutral language, to find the "reason" for it.
Nietzsche: "What alone can our teaching be? - That no one gives a human being his qualities: not God, not society, not his parents or ancestors, not he himself... No one is accountable for existing at all, or for being constituted as he is, or for living in the circumstances and surroundings in which he lives. The fatality of his nature cannot be disentangled from the fatality of all that which has been and will be. He is not the result of a special design, a will, a purpose; he is not the subject of an attempt to attain to an 'ideal of man' or an 'ideal of happiness' or an 'ideal of morality' - it is absurd to want to hand over his nature to some purpose or other. We invented the concept 'purpose': in reality purpose is lacking... One is necessary, one is a piece of fate, one belongs to the whole, one is in the whole - there exists nothing which could judge, measure, compare, condemn our being, for that would be to judge, measure, compare, condemn the whole... But nothing exists apart from the whole!- That no one is any longer made accountable, that the kind of being manifested cannot be traced back to a causa prima, that the world is a unity neither as sensorium nor as 'spirit', this alone is the great liberation - thus alone is the innocence of becoming restored... The concept 'God' has hitherto been the greatest objection to existence... We deny God; in denying God, we deny accountability: only by doing that do we redeem the world. - "

    Hello Kristen Stewart,
You are a talented and entertaining actress. I have been following you as a celebrity for many years. You are very young and successful, be proud of yourself and give yourself a break. Self compassion is one heck of a wonderful tool when it is a honed skill. "I am not perfect I accept that and I Love myself for my imperfections that I cannot change or accept as quickly as I would like to."
"I have made mistakes, I am only human."
Self acceptance & forgiveness with Loving words out loud & actions feels so Heavenly.
Self forgiveness is all I have, lol.
That is a good question Kristen, what are the benefits of not defining and putting boundaries on your sexual preferences? Perhaps in some cases it has to do with ego based unresolved infidelity issues leading to a hesitance to commit within other intimate areas in life.
I feel that it may be psychologically healthy for someone to be capable of describing their sexual preferences.
Is it healthy for someone in the undefined range of sexual preference to say typically in a semi defensive tone "why do I have to define or label my sexuality?"?
Is it more important in society to be capable of defining or categorizing one's own sexual preferences for the sake of public information within social interaction & other life matters,
    or
Is it more of a necessity for a Human Being to be capable of stating their sexual preference as a *required trait of a psychologically Healthy Human? *****
I believe It is necessary for a Human Being to be capable of stating their sexual preference as a *required trait of a psychologically Healthy Human! Openness to a certain extent is a required human social trait, or it is a social disorder. Your sexuality does not necessary have to be in one specific category but I do believe a person should be open to describe their sexual preferences openly as a sign of social and personal self confidence, and to build trust and earn trust regarding those you engage with. If one truly knows herself she can describe herself, and in a positive & confident way according to the social circumstances in front of them.
I treated women well. I was a gentle, honest, kind man. I deserve Love in My Life, proper Love. I am sorry to my wife, how do take responsibility for my words in this state? I absolutely do not mean any of the words that I say to you out of uncontrollable words & emotions. I cannot control my words. I cannot control my brain. I am not in control & I am still asking for help in regards to those in charge please supplying me with more resources and opportunities. Please forgive me & be compassionate towards me.
    Loyalty, Peace, Love, & Respect
    -Kyle

I actually agree with what she's saying about labels...
The issue at the time was how she was going about it,vaguely implying she was in a relationship,at one point she denied being will Alicia then admitted she was.
For rob fans it was an issue because when people questioned her sexuality it was seen as just being hateful,a lot of her fans were homophobic and some thought it would harm her career.
Rob had a lot of hateful comments and articles insisting he was gay, very derogatory way and it would harm his career more than her being gay(fluid..)it also fueled gossip that he was using her to hide the fact he was gay.
All this stopped when she made a clear statement, but defining yourself isn't neccasary, all she needed to do was make it clear she was in a relationship with a woman.
In general I dont think she had much problem coming out not with the media atleast.
I don't think anyone should be made to discuss their relationships or sexuality, but I do agree with the sentiment that if your with someone publicly then it stops a lot of discussion by simply acknowledging it and you should be more willing to if what your doing effects how other people are treated.

Love her, love her confidence, I support her sexuality whatever it is, but I think overusing the word violence isn’t helpful. It escalates everything. Unless we’re talking about genuine incitement. Like instructing people to cause bodily harm. Then SPEECH IS NOT VIOLENCE. And mislabeling speech as violence, makes it easier to justify violence in response to words said that you don’t like. When instead we can call it what it is (words you don’t like) and instead have a real conversation about how to meet in the middle or agree to disagree. Or maybe the person saying words you don’t like isn’t looking for conversation or maybe they aren’t trying to be better, maybe they’re just a jerk. But being a jerk doesn’t make you violent either.
