Hi there. I’m growing a mauve seedling that I got from a grower on Etsy in November 2018. It’s been dormant until last month, I now have 5 new leaves. I also purchased some mauve seed from Thailand and I’m hopeful that they’ll sprout. Please continue to post more videos, I’ll post one soon, when it’s warmer. I’m trying to grow them in Colorado.

I have 3 myself that I grow in pots from tiny starters that I got through the internet. It grows pretty well, this last winter did cause it to loose their leaves but new ones are coming out. Mine have been in the pots for 2 years now, have not seen any signs of flowering. They can
handle the cold much more than my cherimoya and soursop. The soursop is the hardest to grow, it likes heat but as soon as it is below 50, I have to take it inside. During this winter it was beautiful, greenest leaves I have seen, but very small then I took it out a couple of weeks ago and it was cold one night and half the leaves turned brown. It is growing new ones but it is very sensitive.

Hi Garry. I see this comment from a 1 year ago and I need some tips please. I'm trying to grow sugar apple in my tiny apartment in New England, I have 6 in pots(they are from July 2020, from a sugar apple that I ate) and some of them are getting black leaves in the edges, I assume they are missing some nutrients like NPK.
Did you use any fertilizer when they were little? IF yes do you have any recommendation? What type of potting soil would you suggest?
What do you suggest or advice please?
Any recommendation you be super, I just don't want my little sugar apples in pot dies. They are my favorites fruits.
      Thanks, Jhonatan

Mine is still small, would it handle full sun exposure at Texas’s nonstop 100/plus degree? I have it in the 40% shade but I hope I’m not holding it back from full growth.

Alfonso Bourghol most likely I’ll have to pollinate it by hand, but it doesn’t require another tree for cross pollination
