We have a beagle mix and I ended up gifting her a bunch of those super soft fuzzy socks that I've had for years and was getting rid of. They're soft and fuzzy, which she loves, but because they're mostly elastic materials they stretch nicely and are harder to chew through and rip apart than regular socks.
We tied a series of knots in one of the longer ones and use it as a tug, and sometimes we'll stuff a bunch of socks into one big one and let her pull them all out (which really satisfies her need to pull stuffing out of things like her bed and old toys). If she needs some enrichment at mealtime, we'll stuff the socks with her kibble in a whole bunch of ways, too, and let her work for her dinner. I've been known to lay the sock flat and place a small kibble pile, then tie the sock into a knot for her to undo. I'll also stick socks with pockets of kibbles inside of one big sock so she gets a little jackpot when she pulls them out.

I got the hack for that. Requires a blastic bowl a string and a ball.
String through the ball, small hole in center of bowl, string through hole and tie at the bottom. Now i seen some beagles flip the bowl and eat from the floor rather than dealing with the ball.
      Now that is training issues.

Walking your beagle will solve a lot of problems. They are going to be tired after exercise and uninterested to chew on the furniture, will sleep well, not barking or digging in the yard, and mantain their weight. It is also the best time to train them with a few pieces of treat .

I also playing find the treat/kibble inside plastic cups too (from ice cream cups or whatever which has solid colour), i put them above one of cup and twisted with another cup then let her find the cup which contained the food with her big nose 😂🤣

If your first instinct is to leave your dog alone for a few days then you should look at rehoming your dog. If you are hard pressed for people to take care of him while you are away then the most obvious course of action is dog boarding.
When you think about leaving your dog alone for a few days with no one to look after him, replace the word "beagle" with "baby" in your post and see how cruel you're actually being.

Training: I live in the country. The beagle is bred to chase small things in the country. Rather than talk about training, I'd like to say the key element I think is love and trust. The beagle offers a limitless opportunity to instruct, to scold, to deny. I found that by trusting the beagle, on a leash, from early on, and indulging it on those whack a doodle walks, this way and that and then this way and that, it reached a psychological point where it believed it was not denied being itself. The more I did this, the less the beagle expressed a need to pull beyond its full range of curiosity. Walk and run time is not my time, it's the beagle's time. So, I dropped the leash and then ditched the leash. I allowed that space through verbal commands to go out about 15 feet. Beyond 15 feet, my beagle because ferral. She became the scent hound she is bred to be. Don't ask about the time the beagle found a rattle snake, or the time it saw and chased someone's pet rabbit, with me fast behind and screaming for her to stop. Otherwise, she was the model dog.

Edit: sorry, by when as a pup?
6 - 8 weeks is consider ok. i'd wait on 10 weeks. Would focus more on grooming and a damped cloth to clean them before 10 weeks.
      Whenever they need it.
Washing a beagle too often can take away the oil that protects the skin from bacteria and skin issues.
If a months pass by and they dont smell dont wash. Brushing is very important tho. I do mine 3 times a week. Never the less every month and a half on winter. On summer as they require.

Not really a thing. Dogs most likely shed hair through the year. Beagles change coats once every 6 months. Winter coat and sumer coat. Constant brushing is the way to go

I would think if she said to use Dawn Dish Liquid, that’s what I’d use. They use regular Dawn to clean up wildlife that have been exposed to oil in rivers etc. I’ve never heard of Pril Kraft Liquid. That’s not something that stores carry here.

Depends on whether is a hunting beagle or a show beagle, or a pocket beagle or the color of the coat.
They could run from 500 up to 3000.

Fleas? I've had dogs (beagles and other breeds) for the last 50 years, and with a little prevention, you'll never have fleas in the first place. Allowing a dog to get fleas is irresponsible. Ball in the food trick? Forget it. The ball just gets shoved out of the way.
House training? If your beagle is well trained, then you should never find pee stains inside your home. Our current 6 month old beagle has been totally house trained since he was three months old.
