@Jane Terri SC takes place in rennaissance era and based on real world. Agree though, but still Noctis is better in SC than tekken.
In an interview when they were discussing with SE for a collab, SC6 had not yet started development, so Tekken chose to go for Noctis. They did agree that Noctis would fit SC6 better instead.

As a Noctis player, James use of the banana slide (f 3+4) is amazing. I abuse the slide sometimes. But I never knew you could use to move so quickly like that.
Hassan Christy Noctis main here. I use that slide for a variety of mixups. One good one is simply sliding and that’s it. Opponent either ducks or freezes up. Perform demolition man on his ass.

Noctis d/b.1 into slide mix up can be completely stuffed if done on block by generic d.4s or any fast lows if you react to the d/b.1 on its own, but the extension can be delayed a little to catch mashing, it jails without delay

I have fought few Noctis that plays like this, just rolling around 24 7 and man is it frustrating af guessing those 50/50s people think Mishima 50/50s are dangerous but characters like Noctis are sure overlooked
I play noctis main, and he's damn strong, his range alone makes him tough, his whiff punish is really good, 50/50s, counters, armors, low pokes with sword that you can't parry, many frame traps.
He's not much played because he doesn't have a reliable sweep, that's all, most top players want to get a decent combo from a low sweep. That's why strong characters like Noctis, Negan, Bryan aren't seen much these days, the new added characters like Zafina and Fahkumram all got decent sweep combos and +frames. On the top notch level, it makes the difference.

8:43 Does this happen a lot to other people also? This has been happening to me a lot and I don't know if it's cuz I switched internet providers or if Tekken's just been wonkey lately
its because noctis is also playing on P1 so they are really playing 2 seperate games. Most of the time what you see on the screen is appling to both players but there are some circumstances where this is not possible due to both players being on player one side. I assume if you watched this round on JFJ's stream, he would have infact won this round. It doesnt have anything to do with internet connection but just a mechanic of the game that allows for 2 players online to both play on the same side. There is a good video that shows this happening with 2 parrallel streams, I think on TMM chanel but im not sure.
This happens as well because Lil Majin has a stage mod.. This happens more often if one has a stage mod cuz there are some edits in the stage size and wall and what not while the other plays at a normal unmodded stage... Some weird stuff can happen and some desyncronization might happen in the match with that..

I believe it is a timing issue. You have to wait until the opponent is closer to the ground to make both hits connect.

I've played Bryan for 2 years. Just picked up Noctis and have to say he fun as hwll to play and compared to Bryan super easy execution wise.
