This song was my anthem when I was at Uni back then. I was so poor and struggling but she gave me sooo much faith in me and in God. I absolutely adore this lady. She is an angel of love and faith. I am a successful professional now and she was part of this gorgeous journey with me.

This song is very special, not only because of its melody and amazing vocals, but because of the lyrics. She is telling about her hard journey to fame. I find it very emotional. Been a fan since 11 years old (27 years now ☺️) and this era is also my fav. Oh and b.t.w, she was born in 1970

This is my favourite performance by Mariah. I love the song so much. I think it's a true live banger and she should always perform it on tours. The Don't Let Go part is breathtaking and ethereal.
Really, anything from the Fantasy: Live at MSG, or Tokyo Dome performances are "in this era" and absolutely phenomenal. Specifically from MSG, definitely watch "Vision of Love," "Hero," "I Don't Wanna Cry," and "One Sweet Day" with Boyz to Men, but also "Without You," "Fantasy," "Emotions", and "Open Arms."

You should watch the WHOLE concert! I remembered how in awe I was when the VHS tape of thia concert came out. I wished I was one one of the attwndees. This was by far my favorite Mariah Carey era. This concert will be proof of how GOAT of an artist / vocalist / songwriter / performer she is and ever will b!! This Madison Square garden, and Tokyo Dome concerts are legendary. These are the live performances that basically shot her into greatest of all time territory before she even hit her thirties. Her vocal gymnastics were at her all time best in this period. The GOAT 🤯💥
