I don't care what anybody has to say. The police should have been charged as well. They failed a 14yr old boy. It does not matter re: Their opinion about a so-called "gay relationship." They saw a 14yr old boy that had been visibly beaten, and bleeding. He was also under the influence of something. The police never even used common sense in this situation. If they had, they would have considered the possibility that the 14yr old boy could have been drugged, and kidnapped. So sad. They had an opportunity to save someone, and they failed.

    • @jck1794
      @jck1794 Před 6 lety +21

maybe, now hear me out now, maybe it's the "killing" part that creeps people out

    • @winterhaydn5640
      @winterhaydn5640 Před 6 lety +34

I think the part that disturbs people is that they see some humanity in the killer and it ruins their idea of what he is supposed to be. It's easier to think murderers are the kind of "villains" in Hollywood films with no feelings and sinister intentions up their sleeves (very 2-dimensional), than someone who's sensitive, intelligent, and competent -but who became distorted somewhere along the way .... leading to depraved, harmful behavior.
--- Not to condone or condemn what Dahmer or anyone similar to him has done, we obviously can't look passed that, but society still has a primitive sense of what they call "evil people" (a superstitious and empty term invented by religion, which doesn't actually exist in nature). There's still this very outdated idea that humans/behaviors exist in isolation, ignoring the interconnected reality of life .....
The point is, pressures on the brain seem to be what cause people to act out in violent ways. And these originate from somewhere. It can be due to stress, or physical and/mental trauma, or brain injuries. What has been long been shown is that the most violent men in society generally have some of the worst upbringings imaginable, leading to this damaged state of being. There is a physiological reason for what they do. Furthermore, primary feelings like loss, shame, abandonment can drive their abnormal thoughts and trigger episodes of harmful behavior.
So, until we recognize what is going on underneath the primary picture, and stop relying on this highly crude duality of "good or bad" viewpoint, there is absolutely no way to solve the issue -- which is the biggest tragedy, since the public only reacts AFTER the worst part of a chain of events has unfolded ..... in order to feel some shallow sense of "justice" (revenge) and accomplishment by "punishing" them for what they've done.
Their limited frame of mind never takes into account that the attacker himself (and many people connected to him him) could very well have been a victim at some point too. Meaning, that if we found a way to intervene and treat his conditions or at least humanely isolate him from others in society (hoping to understand the matter better), it could have saved a lot of lost lives and torment. --Or, far better, find a way to prevent or decrease the environmental conditions which formed such negative patterns.
*Anyone who feels good about simply pointing fingers at "the monster" really needs to consider what it is they're accomplishing.*
It's quite literally allowing for MORE murders, assaults and violence to happen in the world, not less. The victims involved will only have died in vain.

The Legend Of Jacko Nola Chick I have a type written letter from Jeffrey Dahmer to my preacher. They had corresponded, prompted by JD,
I believe. I know he was baptized by a Church of Christ preacher. My preacher sent him pamphlets and JD discussed them with my preacher. I truly believe he was forgiven of his sins. He honestly confesses he still has the urges to return to his old life. That is what Christianity is, after true repentance you are forgiven of all your sins. The Bible says that no sin is worse than another. Sin is sin. The peace of forgiveness promises further forgiveness. In other words, when he has those urges he prays with a true heart to God to forgive him and it is done. The devil works hard on you after you have given yourself to God. I appreciate his honesty (being truly saved demands this). This is why he is so open about everything. I don’t know where the letter is right now but when I come across it, I will look you up and send it to you if you like. My preacher has passed approximately 2 years ago and he spoke of this occasionally. Have a blessed day.

That sounds about right. My son got the death penalty for a crime that his common law wife committed and she got life without parole. There was no evidence that he was even there and that is even mentioned in the records. No fingerprints or DNA, it was all hers . My son was executed in 2003, only four years after the crime was committed. He wrote a letter to the attorney general and requested his date to be set and it was said that it was nothing more than an assisted suicide. I am still waiting to wake up from my nightmare. And you wouldn't believe how people have treated me since all of this .

Death is the easy way out for these types of cowards who can harm others but can't handle it when they have to face the consequences of their actions.
If he truly was remorseful, he would have taken himself out before or after his first murder.
Of course he had empathy. How else do you think he was capable of luring so many men? He understood these men. It was also heard over the radio that they were laughing and one said "My partner is going to get deloused at the station", which I'm guessing may be a racial slur but I'm not entirely sure. I was the person who uploaded this video. I bought a dvd online that was rare can't remember where from. But the footage had an extra 3 hours. There was also a court video that isn't on youtube anywhere. I didn't expect this to get so many views. I uploaded it for a friend to see some unseen footage from the dvd. I'm very much into the psychology of dahmer, He had BPD and some paraphernalia. I also suffer from BPD though note. BPD does not cause this but i can understand why. the feeling of being constantly alone and parent's abandoning you i have gone through similar and mainly sit alone everyday with no human contact. That feeling can make you really upset and just makes you want someone with you at any cost of being alone. Hence why he kept people with him some extreme type of BPD loneliness alcohol and paraphernalia. Very upsetting story. i feel sorry for him though i hate what he did.
Also his first murder only happened because he was going to leave.
BPD symptom -> fear of abandonment.
Myself i get angry and upset when people leave he must have had really bad BPD. plus the fact he had a paraphernalia of dead bodys you can see why he did what he did.
Iv'e read a hell of a lot of books on dahmer infact all of them.
He was really mentally ill and alone plus the mixture of alcohol was always involved.
This is my conclusion of why he did what he did.
interest in dead animals, At a young age. And the anatomy of animals.
family arguments. Never really a part of the family or just straight ignored because of the arguments his family had.
Developed BPD after being used in school as a mascot, Mixed with loneliness of family involvement and never had any real friends.
Began to drink because of this (NOTE: people with bpd struggling with emotions abuse alcohol and drugs).
At this point he began thinking of someone he could have and didn't have to fight for them to be with them.
So he probably thought back to the dead animals that didn't move. Began fantasising about humans.
I believe this happened due to the extreme loneliness this guy had.
He had noone and just wanted someone to stay.
This intern lead to paraphernalia. Because the people he wanted were those that didn't move.
Those who couldn't possibly leave him.
Now fast forward to the first murder before that.
So he met him and they got drunk. The guy wanted to leave but dahmer really liked him.
All above mentioned you can see why he didn't want him to leave so that is why i truly believe he did what he did.
(Sorry for long message but thank you guys for watching leave a comment on your thoughts on why below)

Svinja Nola Chick I have a type written letter from Jeffrey Dahmer to my preacher.

How about intelligent language in order to bring about learning rather than “monster” “savage” etc. And the freaky eyes of the interviewer are as weird as what they are judging. Good interview. Dahmer's face on the right side around his eye, side of his nose and his mouth looked like someone beat him up. His crimes were heinous but at least he did not try to put blame on anyone else for what he did. Those cops who let him take the crying 14 year old back to the apartment should have been charged with child endangerment. They were responsible for the kid being killed by not taking him in to protective custody. But, what the hell? The cops didn't care what happened to gays.

Jessica Rabbit: It's been a long time since the news stories were on TV, but as I recall Dahmer told the cops that he and the kid were in a gay relationship, calling the kid "his boyfriend" and that they were having a lover's quarrel so the cops just dropped it and left the kid with Dahmer. The cops apparently believed Dahmer instead of looking a little further into the situation. At that time though, police all over the country did not give as much protection to gays as heteros. I should have made my statement more clear/ Thank you for the clarification. :-)

You're kinda right. A predator in the middle of their haunt does have a lot of adrenaline in the moment of the kill... but at the same time I wonder how long did it take the boy to come back... it could've been an hour. After adrenaline hits like that you slowly start to recover back to normal. Maybe that's why his mind was in a "haze" and couldn't think of the right thing to do. Yet if he caught during the attempt than he still wouldn't have been able to keep it together because of the rush of adrenaline and energy. He'd have to keep moving. So the only way he could've actually played it smart was several hours after the attempt or before it. Sorry long response. Your statement intrigued me and really made me think.

This things doesn´t neccesarily make you a murderer BUT they definitely start or light a match in the head of certain people and I personally know that pornography distorts and desensitize your mind putting sexual pleasure above the feeling of love and caring. Therefore this things are not good things for any teenager , kid or adult. Take care of your family you all, spend time with your kids. We as highly sentient creatures should know right from wrong, I realise that for sure, and a human killing and eating their own kind IS wrong clearly.
